well, I might be one of not many but here is my say:

every bitcoin investment is a high risk venture. It is unregulated and mostly anonymous so legal actions are complicated. This gives perfect scam opportunity. But at this occasion we have to assume that FC's disappearance harmed as much us investors as it did harm rest of AM owners, rockminer and partially James from Havelock. The fact that them people are coming back with a global compensation scheme is unique and deserves some credit. I am going to take the offer and swallow the loss. It is a lot better than what it did happen with others - BFL, KNC, Hasie, Gaw and many more - there ppl were left with big rounded zero.

The issuer of AMHashLC will look into the legal enforcement options against what they consider the responsible parties. By offering AMHashLC as a swap, the issuer of AMHashLC will hold the corresponding contract rights.

So presumably there is a reasonable chance of recovery?

Where did you get it from?
For a minute I thought AMHashLC had been set up to buy all the debts and make BTC by recovering more than they spend, you know, like how it works in the real world.  What can I say, I've been working some very long hours lately. I forgot I was in Bitcoinland. Embarrassed

AM1 was once 4BTC/share. now its 0.01BTC, thats <1% of the value it once held. Friedcat ran off with the other 99.8%

Ahrm.. AM1 traded around 0.1 BTC long before FC vanished.

Meh, I'll take something over nothing because it's better than I got from several other high-profile scams.

That is why they get away with it so easy and it continues to happen sadly. Its easier to roll over and accept their terms than to go chasing ghosts.

This can even be part of the scam, in fact they are returning (in installments) only 1/4 of the original investment, so fake everything, let the victims panic, despair, etc and then come up with this offer to make it "legal".

Perfect...

Also, why do we should believe in their word that they are going to pay, after what happened?, what if they "fry a cat" again and fly?, this time without any chance of legal recourse?

The shares are sitting there doing nothing anyways.  Might as well convert and get something.  If it turns out to be a double scam, we wont lose anything we havent already lost and you can still pursue legal action.

Not anybody outside Havelock social group has, because there is actually no instructions or buttons to actually do the swaps at Havelock.

I'm not surprised that people are taking the deal, as most people are after instant gratification and will give up so easily.
This offer is literally blackmailing, I highly recommend against the swap.

Thanks, I've been looking for the button for 2 days now.

I lost BTC when PBmining went down as well; just glad to get something back from this mess.

I think, I'll stick to GPU mining in future or European Cloudmining companies, even if the yield/dividends are rubbish.

I dunno, accepting another deal that might not pay either is a bad idea.  There is no guarantee here that you'll transfer your shares (And lose your rights to them) and then get paid.  They are saying they will, but they might also just make another post about how some other dude ran off with that money and there is nothing left.  Once bitten twice shy...

I would accept the offer but decline waving rights to the remaining 70%. At the end of the day it is up to a judge to decide if forced acceptance is legally binding. And please no bullshit they are not liable...

Amhash probably transferred all shares to Havelock, you'll need to create an account on Havelock using the same email you've used on amhash.com
