AM didn't have a farm in Mongolia. They had one in China and according to the story FC planned on setting up a new farm in Mongolia after learning the hardware was stolen.
The AM hardware in the pics is most likely owned by Hashratio who built AM tubes and was the first company to set up a farm in that location afaik.

FC also said that he had a 'good relationship' with the local government. AM was able to get 'cheap electricity' in northern China as part of some kind of deal. FC posted about this in the 1st page or 2 of this thread.

I wouldn't and I don't. I was just saying what was mentioned at the beginning of this thread. It is clear now that whatever FC said in the past few months, it was a lie. I don't even consider the results of the BE300 results to be valid. It is easy enough to fake the numbers and get fake prints on chips. I consider my AMHash1 and AM1 shares to be 100% gone/lost/worthless.

Have you converted / are you converting your AMHash1s? Just curious.

You can still sell your AM1, so not 100% loss, AMHash promised around 1/3 return plus the ~35% we already got from dividends it's around 66% return, so, not 100% loss, still a very shitty deal though.

ehhh not really you do not loose the slim theoretical chance of legal actions if you accept the liquidation fund compensation. BTW everything went so silent, have majority of small investors accepted compensation? will we see more movement here when the expected pay off date has passed?

You lose all your rights to get back what you deserve only in their system. Legal system is immune to such absurd agreements. I don't think their AMHashLC trick would suffice in court to keep stolen money to themselves

BTW everything went so silent, have majority of small investors accepted compensation? will we see more movement here when the expected pay off date has passed? I'm sorry to inform you that you are incorrect. You do lose your rights. AMHashLC terms ==============
1) DEFINITION: Each AMHashLC unit represents a total of 0.0003 BTC (0.3 mBTC) payable to the holder of the contract. 2) ACQUISITION AND IRREVERSIBILITY: AMHashLC can be obtained by holders of AMHash contracts only. Each unit of AMHash can be exchanged for one unit of AMHashLC. The exchange is irreversible. 3) COMPLETE AND FINAL TRANSFER: By executing the swap of AMHash for AMHashLC, the owner transfers all prior, existing and future rights and privileges arising out of holding the AMHash contract to the issuer of AMHashLC. 4) NO RECOURSE: By executing the swap of AMHash for AMHashLC, the owner relinquishes the right for any direct or indirect claims arising out of holding the AMHash contract against any party involved in the creation, performance or sale of the contract AMHash. 4) NOT TRANSFERABLE: AMHashLC shall not be traded. 5) GUARANTEED FUNDING: Sufficient funding for all AMHashLC contracts is provided prior to the offering and is secured in BTC address 1FU3uhBR4bKTavbeiJXdHHs13W5bRjM7DA. 6) SCHEDULE: The swap will be offered until April/20/2015. After April/20/2015 the swap offering will be closed and no further swaps will be possible. The total payment to units of AMHashLC will be split into 5 equal installments paid on a weekly schedule. The first payment will be provided after April/20/2015 and prior to April/24/2015 and the combined total will be paid out before May/29/2015. 7) FURTHER OFFERINGS: We reserve the right to do additional rounds of AMHashLC offerings with the same conditions after May/29/2015, should it be deemed necessary.
So yes, you do lose your rights.

Their shitty AMHashLC terms would be spit on in court. Such unfair agreements are illegal by nature. The thief that forces a victim to sign that if he returns 1 of 3 stolen things he is allowed to keep the rest is absurd. They are offering this shit only to discourage people from seeking further legal actions. So just take what they agree to return from the stolen money and it has little to no effect on your further legal actions.

It has been said so many times.... such waiver of rights has no effect. At the end of the day it is up to a judge to decide if they got off the hook or not. IMHO they did not.

They are forcing you into it though...giving you no real choice. I am not sure how that works in China, but in the USA it would not fly. If it were me I would take the settlement then sue those scammers. If anything you can at least cause them a lot of problems if they were not paying tax or whatever China requires on it.

This is crypto, it would not pay off for almost nobody besides a few biggest holders. It sucks but I do not think people have any real option but to take it. The deadline expires in 2 days.

I rather not take it. The compensation is so minuscule, I think there's more chance of getting my money back if friedcat appears, and that it's worth more to not conver than to convert.

"HOW TO SWAP YOUR AMHASH UNITS TO AMHASHLC UNITS:
Log into your Havelock Account and click on the xfr button to issue the units back to the issuer. By sending AMHash units back to the issuer your account will receive an equivalent amount of AMHashLC units in return. There is a potential time delay due to this process having to be performed manually."
Can anyone else find the XFR button the Havelock accounts page? I guess I am being really thick but can't find it anywhere.
After my request to transfer, it was accepted and is now at 0ghs. However nothing has shown in my Havelock accounts page and the elusive XFR button eludes me! Many thanks. Tom

I believe that in your account main page, where it shows your list of currently held units, there will be a small 'Xfr' link on the same line as the Fund and number of units you own.
