X means a chip that has been disabled. most likely due to too many errors from it.

Same. Just for giggles. I'd like the price to come down a bit (or usd/btc rise). This makes ~0.18 BTC/month after my electricity costs. Even with 0 dif increase, thats 6 months to break even. I'd like to see ~3 month.

Does it matter which hoses go into the radiator, just as long as as the output of the hot water goes into the bottom of the pump? Seems the hoses are backwards here, but temps are good and it is hashing well. Take a look.

10 foot of tubing and you have a selection for 20 foot also. Very cheap on Amazon.

Don't buy that tubing, its vinyl tubing and not very suitable for watercooling.

A chip misbehaving. You could try upping the voltage by one step to see if it goes away - if it doesn't from a hard reset.

It is very difficult to tell exactly where the pump is leaking, but from the image below it looks like it is between two "plates" that make up the body of the pump.

You could try plastering the leak site with concrete putty / modelling putty / silicon / specialist watercooling putty to prevent it leaking until you can get a replacement in. That's what I used to do with plastic radiators.

What's the max voltage to use without hurting it? My "X" came back, so it is not hashing at 1TH again. I've already sent BITMAIN email and he responded asking for a screen shot which I provided. I've had KNC, Butterfly, and Spondoolie, and never had chip issues with those. Why would I be getting chip issues with a brand new C1?

Bitmain are now offering to host the units at UMISOO. Have any of you dealt with them before? Can they be recommended?

So far, no info on how much hosting fees would be. I have contacted them about this and will publish here, if I get the info.

I am just concerned that their miner setup monkeys might be less careful than me when setting these up and watching for leaks.

Not sure if I should not opt for S4 or multiple S3+ to eliminate potential problems with the watercooling.

Before I hooked everything up I made sure all screws were tights and things were in place. Including the 4 silver screws on the bottom of the pump. I believe they were tight, but I may have made them a tiny tighter when going over everything. I can't see why anything would leak, these aren't even pressurized systems. The water just flows through. Did you try contacting Syscooling or Bitmain for a replacement? I emailed FrozenCPU asking them what would be a good backup/alternative to the pump we use here.

I have an S2 that behaves like this.  It'll run for a week or so and then an X appears.  Sometimes if I power cycle it, it'll go away.  Other times, I get more Xs.  It's luck of the draw for me.  Right now I've got 3 Xs, but it's running at 1 TH/s so I'm ignoring it.  It's always been like this.  I've replaced two chains, and the power board, and it still does it.  It has an oversized PSU in it as well.

If I were you I'd work with Bitmain and get it replaced.  If you're in the US, make sure you work with the Colorado branch, much quicker than the China branch.

If I were you I'd work with Bitmain and get it replaced.  If you're in the US, make sure you work with the Colorado branch, much quicker than the China branch.

S2s are different (in regards to the cause), C1s should fail like S3s. What PSU are you using, and are you sure there is no leaks?

There is no problem in your connection.But personally I think it's better to let hot water go  into the top of the radiator,since the pump would be under less pressure.Parts of cooling kit improved,online video haven't change yet,we will replace with a new one as soon as possible.

Syscooling offered to send a replacement if I sent them a pic of the leaking pump via PM...which I did this morning, but haven't heard back from them as of this writing.

EDIT: Syscooling just replied to my PM and said that they will "see what happened so they can send a new one as replacement".  I will provide updates to let everyone know how this process goes.

I'm not going to try to "patch" syscooling's faulty pump.  When I first noticed the leak/failed pump, the miner was clearly overheating.  Fortunately, I believe it was only without cooling for less than an hour.  I really don't want to have the pump fail again while I am asleep or at work.  I realize the miner has an over temp shutdown feature, but I have no desire to confirm that it works properly.  I ordered a different pump and will use syscooling's replacement pump as a backup when / if get it.

I started talking with them on Nov 7th.   I have not received either RMA pump or harness.  zero out of 2 have come.  And zero compensation.

I had no choice but to get another brand pump with over 1/2 month and they still have not managed to get rma's to me.   Keep in mind this is the company that still has not admitted V1 harness can go very bad, and who know's how many of these pumps they ran dry.

I don't know. They just responded to my PM (see Edit in my last post below).  I will let the forum know how the replacement process goes...good or bad.
