Great news!

I've created endless liquidity for EFL, soon more info on the exact deal, but I will buy all your EFL, no matter what amount for 5% over the price. This will be a one time offer and the exact date of the deal will be determined in a later stadium, but probably not too far in the future. Thanks all EFL investors who showed faith in the coin, soon we party hard.

Also, I will probably (90% sure) be starring in a soon to be made dutch documentary about 6 people who put their faith and lives in blockchain. This documentary will be aired on national dutch tv channel 3, somewhere in may of this year.

i started wrong with this coin.... i was more about NLG then this .....

but i like when the devs are really trying and being active ect.ect....

ill keep an eye on this ( hield al oog in het zeil Wink  )

Thanks for your positive feedback,
I think most of us started wrong with this coin, because we had been led by emotions. I also think most of us still can't break out of these emotions today and are still wrong on this coin. If you look at technical specifications it is one of the most undervalued coins out there, all it takes is 1 person with skills to build a payment app and we are done, unfortunately, nobody feels like making money and that's why bitbill.nl currently runs a highly profitable conversion from EFL to fiat, because there is no other party in the market. I lose on average 20 to 25% if i explain people how it works, but if you take into account my 5000% (or more) profit, I can't complain.

I need somebody to build bitpay for EFL, I want the app to allow users to pay btc, ltc and nlg payment request (and efl ofcourse, but we dont need a new app for that). I will gladly pay 5% discount on every NLG product you buy with use of this app, because this app also needs to send out a message that EFL should not be used for spending, but for long time wealth preservation. Only because of high user demand do we build the app anyway. If you know somebody that can do it, let him start building it, there is money to build it, but waiting on people who take this project as a hobby is like watching shit go thru a funnel after you had sushi.

I hope to release my news on date of our 4th aniversary, wich is 19th of march, I'm working on getting it done, but it might take longer as I'm dependant on other people.

Hi there,

I'm new here. I'm looking to invest in cryptocoins. I have a number of btc now but I found out there's a Dutch coin too. It's interesting for a dutchman but i have a lot of questions.

Why should anybody want to invest in EFL? It's there for 4 years now. In that time, absolutely nothing seems to have happened at all. Price in Sathoshi has hardly changed. There's no trade in it.  In the Netherlands nobody has ever heard of EFL . And nobody even tries to tell them EFL exists. How should they know?

I read about your foundation. The four people behind that foundation don't believe in it either. They're dumping EFL on the market for free these days. So I understood on your website.

Well, nobody does something like that if you really believe in your coin, don't you?  If it has a real value there're better ways to spend it. You're one of those foundation guys i've seen under a comment.   Please tell me why giving away EFL for free to a small group of people is such a good idea.

In my opinion, giving away things for free tells people it's useless and worthless. Please tell us why this foundation of you has no plans or any vision for the future on your website? Do you have any vision or ideas? Where you're heading with your EFL-coin? Everything on your coin is secret. Why do you hide everything?

Tell me (or us) about the future of EFL. Show me your plans. They must be there, I suppose. Tell me why I should trust you?

So i hope you'll answer my questions. Why would I buy EFL on the same moment you guys are dumping it?

First of all, it is not free, you need to run a node for it and why that is a good argument for a reward can be found on youtube if you for example search for "why running a node is important" but i've selected one clip for you to watch, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX0Yrv-6jVs feel free to watch another if you dont like my selection.

Hello Dev ...
There's something I want to ask you.
What if bittrex removes EFL exchange Huh
And what do you do when that happens Huh

there are currently 4 exchanges, of which Bittrex is the most complient. Not being complient to an exchange located in the USA is no problem at all, as the country is broke and  it's influence is limited, but EFL has a team of people dedicated to being in sync with all regulatory requirments and it is nice to be able to prove that with a Bittrrex. I am personally involved with a project called Liberland and there will be exchanges hosted there one day. Make sure to pay me a visit 12th to 15th of april and we can talk about it: http://d10e.biz/liberland-2018/

Hi there,

I'm new here. I'm looking to invest in cryptocoins. I have a number of btc now but I found out there's a Dutch coin too. It's interesting for a dutchman but i have a lot of questions.

Well Joris, we are happy to answer questions.  But to be honest, you should read first. All your questions have been addressed on multiple locations on https://e-gulden.org. But because your questions are so prominent we will give you a hand.

Why should anybody want to invest in EFL?
Because it is a community coin. 99% of all transactions are local. Why bother the world with local transactions. Bitcoin is bloated. Maybe a merchant can handle the top 10 of world-cryptocurrencies, but the top-10 cannot handle the world. A quick display:
Bitcoin capacity (TX/day) 10^6
Top-10 capacity (TX/day) 10^7
World demand (TX/Day) 10^11
Only community coins can offload world demand
Only community coins can expect loyalty
Only community coins can expect local awareness
Only community coin-cummunities can address and reach the entire community
Think for yourself... If you believe in the potential of a dutch crypto-economy it might be smart to invest

It's there for 4 years now. In that time, absolutely nothing seems to have happened at all.
Appearantly you are new here, so you are forgiven, but please spend some time on reading https://e-Gulden.org.  There is enough material to spend weeks of reading. You will discover a battle of a community and a lot of successes due to hard work.

Price in Sathoshi has hardly changed. There's no trade in it.
e-Gulden is grassroots.  There is no infinite marketing budget. In fact there is none. Remember real cryptocurrency is decentralised. Bitcoin has the advantage of being a showcase. But decentralised means there is no central investor since there is no central beneficiary. Most investors act on their own and are anonimous and like to stay that way. Community building is a slow process. It is happening but you most know where to look. How about yourself? Do you want to contribute to make things work or rather wait till success is imminent?

In the Netherlands nobody has ever heard of EFL . And nobody even tries to tell them EFL exists. How should they know?
Pardon. The EFL network has more than 1000 active corewallets. Bitcoin has less than 10.000. You mean you have never heard of EFL?

I read about your foundation. The four people behind that foundation don't believe in it either. They're dumping EFL on the market for free these days. So I understood on your website.
Sorry, but I personally do not let anybody tell me what I believe in. I suppose that counts for all of us. Be fair.
EFL is not being dumped. The premine is carefully being distributed to as many dutch citizens as is reasonally possible through proof of work.

Well, nobody does something like that if you really believe in your coin, don't you?  If it has a real value there're better ways to spend it. You're one of those foundation guys i've seen under a comment.   Please tell me why giving away EFL for free to a small group of people is such a good idea.
Anybody can participate. We are building a network. EFL is not being sold or dumped. We are addressing personal interest and loyalty. We are not addressing investors in the first place.  Decentralisation is our goal. Everybody should have a fair chance to participate. When we would sell it, sure there would be more budget to market and reach investors that might pump the price. We rather seek sympathy and build on loyalty.

In my opinion, giving away things for free tells people it's useless and worthless.
Luckily the free market determines price. Not your opinion. We are not giving EFL away. We let people earn their share.

Please tell us why this foundation of you has no plans or any vision for the future on your website? Do you have any vision or ideas? Where you're heading with your EFL-coin?
This is not a question. It sounds like sheer negative propaganda and it is completely untrue. We offer you weeks of reading and plenty of summaries. Go read https://e-gulden.org/index.php/The_e-gulden_oerushield  or http://egulden.org/downloads/A%20response%20to%20the%20already%20notorious%20EBA%20report%20final.pdf and we expect some excuses.

Everything on your coin is secret. Why do you hide everything?
That is the exact opposite of the truth. Nothing is hidden except for some private keys.

Tell me (or us) about the future of EFL. Show me your plans. They must be there, I suppose. Tell me why I should trust you?
There is no "me" or "us".  There is just https://github.com/Electronic-Gulden-Foundation/egulden, a blockchain that is distributed a thousand times and a community that cherishes it. You are welcome to be part of it.

So i hope you'll answer my questions. Why would I buy EFL on the same moment you guys are dumping it?
Well the answer is there. Judge for yourself, but I suggest you do some homework before you get back

I don't understand why your answer is so negative, you could also say that banks are simply stresstesting all kind of crypto and use this new moon to try and squeeze out weak hands with some negative psychology. I have personally bought more EFL then the daily inflation since beginning of this year, but still price moves down, who cares? Let them dump the coins cheap, all it shows is that the Dutch have completely no interest in us and prefer to live in their pension bubble without seeing any possibility of WW3 ever breaking out. Also it proves that no one in the current community feels like overpaying for their EFL.

We have suvived yet another round of bittrex delisting, and at some point people will see the opportunity that EFL is, untill that time, I buy cheap coins and let other people think different about it as much as they want, because me alone is not able to change the way how people conceive reality and there is plenty of disguise going on to mask the truth.

So if I would come to the second point, I believe banks bought all king of crypto last year for btc they purchased for under 5000 dollar. Banks balance sheets are nominated in worthless bloodpaper and therefore they can sell at lower satoshiprice for a profit, they are currently manipulating prices downward while profiting in their books, they have also massivly double spended on all kind of cryptomoney in may last year, many coins suffered from that, including our EFL, it created some extra profit for the banks who can sell coins even cheaper, because they are selling them twice. But then, 3 years too late, OERU came up with the OERUshield and now we are good again. it sure seems as if there are 21 billion EFL, but in reality it is a maximum of 21 million, and they currently cost less then 20 eurocent, while they are dedicated to a group of citizens who together have put billions aside in pensionfunds. Those funds are actually the biggest ones in the world and all of this change will cause this particular group of earthling to lose most in the upcoming transition. Unfortunately, the Dutch prefer to spend 80 million on fireworks with newyear instead of building a safetynet for generations to come, that is because their brains are infected with fake news and they let their sences be fooled by marketing techniques.

That is simply how it is, nobody changes anything to it, only we together can make a difference, but unfortunately, our history causes this coin that there is no we, and nobody want to work together. No matter how hard i try to show that the dutch are losing and how we can get it to change nobody listens, then again,, why would anybody listen to this crazy lone wolf anyway, he has nobody backing him, so let's just discard his opinion altogether and YOLO on. (and some people actually are listening, but the group is too small to make a difference + many people took profit when banks bought EFL from them last year and spend the money on a new car, or whatever, I'm personally living like a king for allmost 1 year now, most extravagant I went was taking 3 friends out for diner and all of us ordered a 150 euro steak back in december, it tasted lovely and I gladly let banks dump those efl back into the market at lower price now)

By the way, this monday is our 3th aniversary and I am planning on a statement with Liberland President Vit Jedlicka. I see cryptomoney as politics and because I don't believe voting with a red pencil makes any difference, I prefer to vote with my wallet. I believe if more people would vote on EFL, we could make a huge change, but so far nobody shows interest in my way of crowdfunding, so be it.

edit: i'm also quite disappointed that not more people show interest in us, or better: buy the coin, but I think EFL reflects howmuch asleep the dutch population actually is and I personally think that they will not start buying our coin as long as the price is not 1 euro per EFL. The only question for me is, what satoshiprice will EFL represent when we do cross that barrier.

Oops, it's Liberland who celebrates 3 years in 1 month, sorry for mixing that up. I hope the statement will go out today. If not, then later this week and I've prepared a steemit post for today, anyway: "Happy birthday!"

Because it is a community coin. 99% of all transactions are local.

so less volume? Everybody investing in stocks, forex and so on knows that only high volume is giving high prices. So a local coin will always have a lot lot of disadvantages to a worldwide one.
-1 for EFL should i say.

In fact you're saying wat say. Good investors spread their money. Over a lot of assets. Over a lot of countries. You put your moey where liquidity is. Where volume is.

-2 for EFL.

Well, you confirm my opinion form your site: You're giving away EFL to a very small group of people for free. The rest of the dutch people may pay for it. Your friend get it for free.

The idea behind cryptomoney is decentralisation. No centralisation around one guy and his friends. I bet you never worked at all. One of those very rich first adopters, i presume?

Anybody can participate. We are building a network. EFL is not being sold or dumped. We are addressing personal interest and loyalty. We are not addressing investors in the first place.  Decentralisation is our goal.

Your goal is making a small group very rich. No big deal. Every cryptocoin does.

Everybody should have a fair chance to participate. When we would sell it, sure there would be more budget to market and reach investors that might pump the price. We rather seek sympathy and build on loyalty.

If you really would like to have new participants, you go "the boer op" as the say in Ducth. Tell the people who you are. Nobody knows. Tell them what cryptomoney is. May 1000 people in holland know by now. Tell them waht EFL is. Only the people you throw money at know about it.

You are welcome to be part of it.

so you admit there's really nothing. Just some computercode. Well, that's the first good answer i get. I like to meet you guys. When and where do you meet? Soms café will do, i suppose? Do you have some office somewhere? No telephone. I like to talk to people face to face. When is the next groupmeeting? and where?

Quote from: JorisGoedbloed on March 13, 2018, 01:12:50 PM
So i hope you'll answer my questions. Why would I buy EFL on the same moment you guys are dumping it?
Well the answer is there. Judge for yourself, but I suggest you do some homework before you get back
[/quote]

may i suggest some homework too?

1. a book writing text in dutch for dummies
2. websdesign for dummies
3. how to handle people en prospects for dummies
4. marketing for dummies
5. promotion for dummies
6. graphical design for dummies

and then start over. get more people. get more skilled people. Not just millenials like you. There's more on the planet, you know.

face it. This coin is really a total disaster.. It should be forbidden you try to get money from innocent people, not being one your friends.  Maybe it has a sound technique...It seems to have,

but a coin needs people, you know? people to use it. People to tell about it. Not just your small group of friends.

a last advice: Don't assume a guy with a lot of good questions didn't read you stuff. I did. I tried, i should say.
Presumptions like that make you look stupid. Not the guy with the questions.

I wrote something today, it is not on the forum, but for joris' sake i will put it there in 2 days, so we wont have a month without posts, but when Joris writes here you get a reaction within too much time passing, there must be someone who shows interest in this coin, right?

Thanks Joris, for coming back, but unfortunately you make the same mistake as all other naysayers before your presence.

You see, EFL is a cryptocoin with OERU shield implemented. This means it is like a weed, it's not easy to get rid of it and very secure without the need of endless powerconsumption. Our lauch was actually one of the biggest in crypto history 4 years ago many people where really impressed, unfortunately the intentions of our founder where not what we've all hoped it would be, but for me, as a trader, it was the perfect opportunity to make EFL into more then just a coin to trade.

I want to show to all the sheeple that crypto is a stronger means of saving the fruits of your labour then traditional fiat. What better way to pick a coin that was declared dead by 99% of its community? Even when everybody believes a coin is doomed it can still outperform the "stable" euro, I made 45000% on EFL in 4 years time.

The reason why there is no trade in EFL is because at these levels all coins have been traded. Nobody wants to pay more then needed for it's coins and me too prefers to catch them cheap. People in NLD are asleep, or blinded by the marketing of NLG. Oeh wow, you can buy a sandwich with crypto, really? The reason why im not with NLG is because at launch, they promised a inflationproces like most crypto's, with blockhalvings at certain block numbers. I thought their 1.6B total coins where going to surpress the price that i could buy them after a year or 3 for cheap, but unfortunately NLG, like EFL, did not keep it's promise. The only difference is that they sell it in a better way, but going to 100 coins for the next 50 + years made me descide i pick up those coins when bitcoin hit a million bucks in 25 years or so and they still poop out 30K coins per day.

Anyway, let's not get too much offtopic, because afterall we are talking about EFL here. I didnt read all your post because it is long and you didnt use quotations which makes reading not so appealing, and frankly, i've got something better to do then read about how what i am doing is wrong. The person who you try to insult by writing about our website is not me, let me put that out first. he actually made www.efl.nl the website of egulden.org and many more things actually, what have you done to contribute to our project, or do you just want to spread negativity like all the other people that try to claim this coin isn't worth any of their money?

The best advertisement is mouth to mouth and that is why distribution of efl's goes in the way it goes. at the rate that we are handing them out is will take about 3 years to get rid of those things, we are now half year underway and you are free to invite everybody to our airdrop. I do not really understand why you want to portray it as if we are trying to keep those coins ourselves, we've been buying them with bitcoinprices under 1000$ and mining them in a network of under 10GH/s, believe me, I got plenty of coins and give them away on a regular basis when I got a good connection with somebody that understands how I feel, what you think of this EFL song someone put on my timeline the other day? https://www.facebook.com/yoshilivo/posts/2096865053934096

I tell you how i see it, and then you can tell me I'm crazy, does that sound like a good deal to you? Here we go:

A good financial product does not need selling or advertisement, it will sell itself. We do not need to beg or pay shops to accept our currency, instead what we need is a community that is willing to use the coin. I think you would be crazy if you buy stuff with your crypto, i did it a couple of times, payed .14 btc for a sandwich once, or bought 35 anonymous masks for 1 btc, it's not that i regret these actions, but I learned that crypto should be used in a different matter. When we got enough community that participate in our economy there will come people who try to seduce you into spending that money with them, because they have some product or service they want to try and make money of you.

For the sake of my rest at night i will quit it here, because i've said all these thing a million times before and will probably have to repeat them a millions times over, but i got kind of an interesting weekend ahead of me, so if you excuse me, i got something better to do then talking to somebody that is trying to tell me my life is a joke. Ow before i forget, here is that story i started my post with, enjoy! https://sgulden.webnode.nl/l/doubts/

You make the same mistake they other guy makes. Someone who doesn't agree with you is stupid. That's it.  You make the mistakes. Not the people who don't understand a word of what yoy try to say.

If this is all you achieved in 4 years, you should be very ashamed. Every compnay would go broke. To kick your fouundationteam and put them to work!

Why don't you see everybody is quite happy with the euro? It has no problem at all.

NLG is no coin for me. I don't trust them. I thought EFL could do the job but the only thing they do is telling me i'm stupid because i don't understand geekspeak.

I'm new, you know? What coontribution could y have done? I even didn't know you existed because nobody wants to tell.

Like the other guy: Leave your ivory tower. Try to speak to normal people. It will be an eye-opener for you.

But the both of you convinced me: EFL is dead.

let me add one more thing to your EFL guys.

If cars  were sold in the way you people try to sell your cryptomoney, it would look something like:

"the 4,56" screw in the cylinder make a perfect mixture of gas and oxygen so a partial combustion will take place in 0,0000575 sec producing a driving force of 0,045234 newton on the cranck."  YOU SEE,  YOU NEED THIS CAR!  Sign here, please!

Stop thinking the whole world studied rocketscience like you did. They didn't. Don't tell everybody there the most stupid people in the world. Don't insult everybody you can find!

Build yourself a good team with skilled people. People who understand the principles of marketing, promotion and psychology (This is by far the most important skill you need to persuade people if you want to introduce something big like new a new kind of money) Buy yourself some books about persuading people. It's important.

Don't think all people who don't understand your geekspeak are stupid. They're not. They just don't understand a word of what your saying or writing. They don't understand a word of your extremely-difficult-to-read website. They don't understand what you try to do or try to say.

And that's the reason your EFL coin is almost finished.

No technical problems. Just not knowing how to deal with normal people. Especially non-technical people. Believe me. There's a world outside internet. Those people aren't connected to a keyboard. Those people don't have an usb3.0 port integrated in their skull. Those people are not connected to a blockchain.

They're just ordinairy people. Happy people.

So, leave your ivory tower. Go outside. Look at those happy people ! You need those  people to reach your goal!!!!!!!

It's likely it's too late for EFL to survive. Maybe when you act very fast. Maybe. Not likely.

Face it. This way you're killing the coin. And fast! I don't know why you try to do that. But you do!

The Netherlands need good coin. But that's not NLG. That's obvious. But it's not EFL too. Maybe someone in the next future will start a coin that's directed to normal people.

I'll wait buying EFL  Maybe later. If it survives

Good luck!

Hi ,

Any plans to add more exposure to this coin by adding it to other  exchanges such us  Upbit or binance?

Thank you !

Yes and No. The problem with exchanges at the moment is that they all want to serve the world, while the world cannot be served by an exchange. Good exchanges are overloaded and need to restrict access. What would be needed (Not only for EFL) is a number of exchanges that list coins in a specific category. That category would be : countrycoins.  No trading pairs like LTC-BTC but EFL-BTC and EFL-LTC, AUR-BTC, PTC-BTC and the likes. It is not even a plan. It is something we are working on.
