I will pay .25 BTC to someone who writes a step by step (with pictures) guide on how to withdraw FCT from Poloniex to the paper wallet.  It should be moron proof.

For safe storage of factoids, use only paper wallet (factoidpapermill).
"How To Use FactoidPapermill" - http://factom.org/howto#collapse-1-5

If you are running on Windows, just open cmd.exe with at the command prompt.

Then in the dialog box, simply list the path to the place where you installed the program FactoidPapermil (FactoidPapermil.exe)

Then run the program and automatically receive the generated secret key and your new address factoids. After that transfer from Polo Exchange to your new address your factoids. For safe storage, print out all of your secret keys and new addresses on paper. And also make multiple copies such as a flash drive.

I appreciate it but I am looking for a step by step guide (with pictures) for people who are not tech savvy.  As a community, we need to begin to develop such things.  For example, I have a friend looking to buy some Factom but he's not tech savvy and needs to know how to withdraw it from Poloniex.  Without the guide, we are losing buyers like my friend.

Now I sent a request developers Factom to make such an instruction  and put it on official site.

The point is: there is no (known) reason to move exactly now
- Thus it is reasonable to assume that the price of the next days will be in between now and a week ago.

The market at Yuanbaohui could be more representative/independent since it also has high volume - but only chinese people can sign up.

The fact is fishy, that Yuanbaohui temporary disabled withdrawals since exactly march 3, just in time before the rise or pump of Factom started,  and still did not comment on it further.  In other words was Yuanboahui's factom client attacked specifically?

You're wrong and judging by your other posts I would recommend you close your shorts. I like that you're an active investor though so kudos. Most developers these days think they are above active investors and traders but without us this project would've never come to fruition so they should respect the cock.

If you want to get the bottom of that chinese exchange find their cold wallet. I doubt it exists to the degree they claim and that's why they suspend withdrawals thus nobody trading Factom gives a shit.

why? which part of my post are you answering on? Disagreeing in your pump scheme?

Another short squeeze is soon due to move towards 0.0075. A lot of sell pressure already helped the buy side when we broke 0.006 and beyond as a lot of short-sellers liquidated and as a result a lot of liquidity was added to the bullish side due to increased collateral reaching 0.007.

Enjoy.  Smiley

This is good stuff, concrete results. Next stop, 0.0075.

Disagreeing in your pump scheme?

That's a fallacy as all crypto is driven by speculation. And we all speculate don't we? But let's just say it's quite ironic to put that stigma on me when by your own accounts
Personally I bought some Factoids at the crowdsale and sold 99%, besides few to keep - you?

Also I don't think you own any.

Also, I do suggest the dev team to move this thread to altocoin announcement thread. I know you re gonna argue Factoids are not altcoins but it would definitely get much more exposure there. Comparable threads have over 1000 pages there. Nobody checks in project development for new coins.

I agree, that this topic should be moved to the correct section of the forum. But it is also necessary to write the owners of this forum to make the transfer. Now I will write to Brian Derry develop thought about the topic transfer into the correct section.

crazyivan, best to move this thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0  ?

We used to have a thread in Alternate cryptocurrencies > Announcements (Altcoins) but we decided to close it because FCT are not an alt.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=993334.0

We are happy with the attention we are getting on this thread, we don't need 1000 pages worth Smiley

Thanks for suggesting and for being an awesome community.

It s not short sellers who re ping ponging the price, its the bots and speculators. They like having the price in this sideways trend, this is how they make the most money. Trap those bots and push the price up so they cannot sell high and re-buy low.

No. Just not all web browsers are suitable for viewing. Better to use Google Chrome.

am i right that there is no way to password-protect the factom wallet??

Now there is no way of protection. Web GUI wallet was released only in one trial, so do not use it safely! This is just a trial version not for everyday use. You use it at your own risk!

OK, but how to safely store Factom then? Commandline?

For safe storage of factoids, use only paper wallet (factoidpapermill).
"How To Use FactoidPapermill" - http://factom.org/howto#collapse-1-5

ok. it says "This is early beta software you should use this guide at your own risk, we suggest not to use large amount of factoids in case there may be issues and/or bugs."

but i guess thats just the usual disclaimer right?
