Anyone notice the penny-bot just reversed? It is now selling buying 0.01 BTC

Edit: now selling again... crazy

You all get so bored that you start watching penny bots? Huh

That, or playing with pencils...

This thread needs an IRC channel to watch simultaneously with the posts. That way we could watch the idle chatter when the price fluctuates slightly and then watch it go nutz as the price shoots through the roof.

I had to link it because I love the name. Seriously, that is the real name.

I was like, whenever the price went past a certain point I started to imagine how many bears are receiving their margin calls...

They will find you and then knock on your door throwing a million in cash in your face and demand your paper wallets. Sounds reasonable to me XDD

To wipe out the ask on Virtex the price has to rise to 6100 CAD

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

i'm thinking about buying all in....

I bought a 100 BTC 4 hours afer selling 100 BTC, 100$ loss but only 1/10 of my gain in value to date.

Anyhow, I thought I was smart and gonna buy back in low.  But then I 'membered, I have no idea when that is.

JUST HOLD.  Don't fuck with asset, don't fuck with lending, JUST HOLD BTC.

I, like many of the guys here, want to buy cheap, and I know there's gonna be dips and crashes ahead. But I am also acutely aware that the chance that people are gonna let me take away their bought at double digits coins for single digits, is probably as slim as seeing triple-digits bitcoin price this year.

IMHO we are much more likely to see triple digits this year than single digits. However, if 100+ is reached then a 50% retrace is more than likely too, in which case people will be gagging at the chance to get in at $50.

Bill Still, maker of the documentary "The Money Masters," is asked about Bitcoin on Adam vs. The Man. Here's the key exchange which starts at around 14:10:

Kokesh: What is your opinion on Bitcoin as something that is rapidly, at least on a limited scale, displacing the dollar?
Still:  Displacing the dollar? I don't think so.
Kokesh: Well, at least to the tune of 400 million dollars.
Still: 400 million dollars? Well, let's see, and what percentage would that be of the 16 trillion dollar American money supply?
Kokesh: a tiny, tiny, tiny drop in the bucket for now
Still: I basically have a lot of trouble being comfortable with Bitcoin. Number one, it was hacked about two years ago. Number two, although it purports to be decentralized money and everybody says 'oh, the security features make it impossible to control centrally,' you know, I just...I have no facts to support it, I just, I'm uncomfortable with the situation.

Well, I'm convinced.

people are stupid!
be smart...
