To me it seems like I'm suppose to think it's going down based solely on the ask orders but I can't identify any fundamental reasons why it should go down..

imo, pirate himself has ~0 volume. it's just the concept of pirate that holds all the volume.

I am not sensing much bullishness on the forums lately.

You put a wink after the cut down through 10 comment but it seems quite likely
in the short term. The whole pirate thing took the momentum away from the rally.
Summer is over, school is starting.

The winter bear might hibernate but without activity the market might slumber also.
Slumber down with disinterest.

I have been holding off selling my mined btc lately but without a chance of popping up
past 12.. why bother worry about a few extra dollars. Might as well go back into sell
every day mode.

I also sold at $10.78. Been closely watching the action for the past two days and all I see is low volume slow climb to $11 - $11.5 and boom a 10kBTC sell back down to $10.5.. So yeah, I'm out till $7.5 - $8.

The past days have indeed been of extraordinary volume. This went along with rising prices, so I think we are heading upwards, unless somone with 500k BTC decides to crash the market..
