This wave is cooling down. The rate will remain at 120-135 until next week.

This will sort itself out in time if Bitcoin is worth a damn. Trying to force things will probably result in unintended consequences (and somebody taking your money).
things are already being forced... I think this volatile market will scare many away/.. once the hype dies down the short term guys will get out causing a temporary decrease in price as it restabalizes

MtGox takes forever to load I love gox for security and I loved it for the USD-codes. The USD-codes are a thing of the past start April 10th. I'm keeping 50% of my trading balance at mtgox and moved 30% over to bitstamp. Don't know where to put the other 20%... suggestions?

I think this volatile market will scare many away/.. once the hype dies down the short term guys will get out causing a temporary decrease in price as it restabalizes The volatility also attracts many new people (see my story "a couple" of pages back about a trader-type friend getting all hyped-up looking at clarkmoody). So expect bull pressure during the week after the next one (April 15th).

you knwo what's funny: my client takes a long time to connect to the socket.io feed (1-5 minutes) and subsequently get delivered a rush of trades that seem to have been stuck. I think prolexic is screwing things up.

I don't care much about the fiat gateway capabilities tbh. This is just my trading account, in case I want to cash out fiat (doesn't happen much) I just shove up 2 x the trading fee and use another exchange of choice. considering bitcoin-24.

If you only want to cash out BTC, then I'm a fan of BTC-E.

bitfloor? are you guys serious... this guy's is in massive debt if I'm not mistaken. My interest is in buying Bitcoins, not trading, so normally they are the quickest and most cost efficient way of doing so, even better than Bitinstant-> Mt Gox. Except when their cash payment processor has problems with the bank and can't process deposits for over 24 hours.

I agree in the short term, that's why I'm all in.... but the new people volatility attracts are in it to make some quick fiat, not invest long term in BTC

I think prolexic is screwing things up. Well if nothing else, this DDOS is making me handle Http error codes properly in my bot and making it a lot more robust. Just curious what language/middleware you're using for yours? Mine is written in Java with XChange middleware.
