I'm really shocked on how BCT 'community' handles things, I now know why there are private and dedicated communities now.
I'm just shocked you can't spell BTC right lol  Wink

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

folks, here is idiot #2: what are you doing man? are you just full of hate? there is no place for that here. go away!

I appreciate you stopping by to show how "full of love" you are.

These recent outbursts can end up in one of two ways: I'll get banned for abusing moderators, or this thread will get shorter by a half dozen pages. Make no mistake, I still believe this thread has a topic and it is not "I dislike what this poster said therefore he/she is an idiot". There are plenty of such threads in the shallower parts of bitcointalk, you're welcome to visit there and don't rush back.

As i see it

We ALL are together on it as one and must to protect Cryptos vs all those dont want them.

also if you don't like a crypto just don't invest on it.

Cryptocurrency is our investment not one coin or the other.

Hey man, that's crypto. Nobody can really disprove you on that. Just like nobody can disprove GAW's big investors. Were those simply other wallets of theirs? They haven't released any names of investors AT ALL. It's how crypto works though. If you want to lie about where the money has gone, nobody can really disprove you. It's hard to tie an anonymous thing to somebody.

Warning - the following is my theory only: I think they never had any serious profits, either due to mismanagement or some other issues. Especially since mid-October they have been reluctant to spend ANY real money on anything. E.g. they claimed $50 million marketing budget, $100 million floor, "teams" and "companies" working on the coin and paybase etc, while the actual results show the opposite. Cheap coin clone, some ads on obscure "news" sites, barely functional Paybase and of course no floor now. They seemed to be trying to pump the coin on hype alone, and perhaps they put a few hundred BTCs on Paybase for 5 minutes at launch. I doubt they blew 100k or 500k or whatever on Cryptsy, those spikes could have been someone else's arbitrage bots fooled into buying.

There is obviously no way to prove this, but there are just so many red flags pointing in that direction that it would be one hell of a coincidence. Like the refusal to sell any of their own products for XPY.

Ok... but to what end?

I think it's a pre-order/pre-sell kind of deal that never works out as intended due to incompetence. They wanted a big mining farm, but had no cash - sold a bunch of hashlets and purchased Bitmain hardware. BTC mining profitability went down, they decided to create a coin and a payment processor - sold a bunch of Hashstakers and debt obligations (hashpoints) to finance that but can't get it off the ground. Wait for the next big idea and some kind of instrument to finance it.

But this only serves to kick the can down the road.  At some point they are going to have to fulfill their obligation.  They delayed BTC payouts to push people into stakers and paycoins... that just pushes the debt from one form to the next.  Unless they plan on hiding funds and then declaring bankruptcy, I don't see how any of this can work out as a nefarious scheme.  You can't just hide funds and declare bankruptcy.  The money can be traced.

I think they are still hoping to get out of this somehow. In theory it is possible to "shake out the weak hands", i.e. coerce people to divest at a loss and end up with a positive cash flow, although I don't believe they will be able to pull that off in the long run. These are ongoing operational costs, and they need to make enough revenue to cover that plus pay off at least some of the investors to generate good will and encourage reinvestment etc. Anyway, just my theory.

As far as the price of paycoin? i am not worried one bit, you see i have faith , faith that this is a game changer and that the entire point of this quest is to bring it to the people and not keep it locked up i a cage like you so desperately want it to be, ...why is that? are you so happy that you can buy a few gift cards here and there and maybe a few stores will take some crypto for some items.....why not think bigger instead of trying to squash an idea that is obviously greater then you can understand here,.

Unfortunately your faith is blind.

The broken promises, the inability to deliver anything on time - how many more of these teeny tiny mistakes (in your eyes) do they need to make before your faith turns into caution? Most of us here see these as indicators that it is falling apart. Tell me one place you can use Paycoin anywhere that would make a big enough deal for anyone outside of the crypto world to take notice? Josh messed that up when he launched the coin before Paybase was even ready.

He won't even take it for purchase on his own business' website - that is how much belief he has in it!

Every day Josh screws it up further, breaks one more promise, he poisons Paycoin to the point it will end up on the sh*tcoin heap with the rest of them.

Keep your faith. I hope it pans out for you in the end. I will rely on my gut instinct to tell me that when something stinks, it's best to throw it out as soon as possible.

I'm not here to discredit anyone. Smiley As long as the discussion stays civil, I don't mind popping in from time to time. Some people here just throw reason out the window though. I think most of us can agree on that much. I'm not pro troll, I'm not pro GAW, I'm pro volder. Smiley

I've said it before but I'll say it again, I can't tell you how nice it is to see people who were shilling for GAW turn into free thinkers from the evidence posted here. Yeah, there can be a lot of flaming from people and overall b.s. posts, but it really helps show some of the more dedicated people here that what they're doing is actually making a difference in people's lives. Those people then go on to use their high rep HashTalk accounts to post questions etc. and where someone new might be banned, they can stick around and have conversations with people over there how bad this looks and how messed up it is.

I think most here do not want to see another huge fail like Gox, etc. tarnishing the image of all crypto's in general... thus feeding "all those who don't want them" we don't need to give more ammo or negativity to the crypto world when GAW unravels and falls apart and many lose their money/BTC......

less complicated.

It is cute to argue the minutiae as though it were some broken pottery from a pyramid from Giza.

But if the map pointing to you it in the first place is a facsimile of a copy of a facsimile via the Philippines where 'x' marks the spot of gold.

What in the world is one supposed to do?

These off the wall hate posts are so over the top it makes me wonder if they are not actually some sick Cointelpro from the GAW camp to discredit what is being said here in this thread. After all, GAW  does not have a leg to stand on when it comes to facts, so the best they can really do is try to discredit the messenger. Plain old mounds of useless bullshit posts from obvious shills was not getting the job done to hide the truth being exposed here. Is it coincidental that out of the blue our crippled reporter who is obviously a GAW shill of some sort (knowing or unknowing) shows up in this thread at the same time someone who seems like he was scientifically designed to attack him in the most vulgar manner possible? I smell a rat. The kind of a filthy smirking rat that would stoop as low as something like this so he could shield himself and continue a scam.

Food for thought gentleman, I bid you all goodnight.

Cheers, Mr. Revere--it's always a pleasure.  You summarized exactly what's happening here nicely.  GAW and crew know exactly what's happening over here, and will spend as many resources as they can spare to make us look like "trolls" or "haters."  Fortunately for us the Internet has a long, long memory.  Homero knows it's coming and is starting to get worried about everything he backpedaled on.

I feel shitty for the people that got conned, but this has been an interesting show to watch.  It's a shame it's coming to an end.
