Multiple people there are saying that remove paycoin from other exchanges will make it easier to have a 20 dollar floor. How on earth would that work?

Get rid of the exchanges, then gaw/paybase can control the price:

ie, we will buy 1xpy for $20 for every 1xpy we sell for $20 (with 10% fee both ways).

And why will they do that when they can buy them for 4 right now and aren't doing it?

Cause they actually make money on every sale this way rather than lose any money. Basically they can make it work like their hash market in a sense.

No they don't. 20 - fee is more money than 4 right now.

No, what I'm saying is they will only buy 1 XPY for $20 after they have sold 1 XPY for $20.

Why would they do that when they are refusing to buy xpy for 4 right now when they have sold many for 4. Why would anyone buy one from them for 20 tomorrow when they could buy one for 4 right now? Any math or idea involving the 20 dollar number is wrong because 20 is a number pulled out of Josh's ass that has no relevance with anything.

First off I would like to thank most of you guys in this thread, you opened my eyes to GAW last month, I just about exited last week with those guys, cashed out my XPY at $13 a pop. I sold all my primes, genesis’s, and all but one Zen left. As I watch Cryptsy and read this thread, I wish I could buy all you guys beers.

I am relatively new to Bitcoin, so I have a question. Does anybody have a timeline of what will happen next? Like I have never seen any of this before and am curious what happens if XPY goes to 0?

Will the authorities step in? Can you compare this to like Madoff or Enron? Of course on a much smaller scale?
Will GAW just say “Sorry guys, maybe next time?” and walk away? What normally happens?
If its DOA by the time the Miami Conference starts, do you think he will have the balls to still show up?

Like I said, this is the first time I am witnessing something like this in realtime.

No and no.  Check out Mt GOX and Moolah as a precurser to learning about the prosecution of people who rob everyone blind in the crypto world. Completely different yes, but larger scams, that nobody is accountable for in the end... as it seems.....  Nothing happens, they walk with loads of cash, end of story... I know that people like to think different but this is the only scenario i have seen play out since joining the community. Moral of story, if you get fucked, it's pretty much in your hands at this point. There is a chance enough people band together with $ for legal action, which results in a civil suit and doesn't put coins back in anyone's hands.

im goin to release information  that will place his family at risk after scam implodes rightly fully so is it not his customers deserve  addresses to there perpetrators

I suppose they could always do the right thing and reimburse all of those who put in and lost money in this misadventure, and call it a day. I doubt that will happen though  Undecided

Josh will be in Miami at a bitcoin conference.. Lets compile all the claims GAW has made (not in a public forum where GAW can observe) and pose these questions to Josh in front of a live audience (I believe he is a panelist for a open Q&A). We just need to make sure we have concrete evidence and all our facts straight..

Any takers?

And if GAW is legit, then they shouldn't have any issues with answering our questions, eh?

Seems Josh and Gaw, turned their backs on Bitcoin and the BTC community as a whole, only after profiting so much from it to begin with, and strayed away into the unknown on some fantasy trip. This is what I feel has angered most of us, or at least myself. And he and his following wonder why there is so much fud and negativity towards him and GAW. Nobody likes a centralized totally controlled coin. Crypto should remain free for all those who want to mine it , buy and sell it with out some higher being pulling, controlling and manipulating the strings of crypto. The bigger they are the harder they will fall.  Cool
