Why are they letting Josh speak??

It's a bitcoin conference. He's a Paycoin guy.

For a guy that recently went on the record to say BTC is not viable, why would he name his company B.T.C. for Christ's sake?

What about turning those worthless paycoins back into hashpoints? Those are not currency, but "coupons," remember? Now make 400 HP worth $20. Problem solved.

Hashlets were an unregistered security, but I did not see Josh giving back any money to those poor suckers who bought them just a few weeks before Payscam started.

GAW tries quite hard to bend (or break) the law when it comes to making them money, but sure give up easy when it comes to fulfilling their promises to their customers.I would be very surprised if GAW does not face a class action lawsuit in 2015. I think they would be also, which is why Josh has been preparing. Erasing evidence left and right and keeping plenty of lawyers on retainer.

Anyway, nothing against you AnimoEsto. You did some escrows for me on my various accounts as I got the fuck out of dodge.


Edit: To be clear, I do not for one minute believe they have the money to create the floor. The "fund" is large enough to buy every paycoin not in investor hands for $20/coin, so it literally could not run out. Of course, then Josh would be left owning all of his shitcoins...

These off the wall hate posts are so over the top it makes me wonder if they are not actually some sick Cointelpro from the GAW camp to discredit what is being said here in this thread. After all, GAW  does not have a leg to stand on when it comes to facts, so the best they can really do is try to discredit the messenger. Cheers, Mr. Revere--it's always a pleasure.  You summarized exactly what's happening here nicely.  GAW and crew know exactly what's happening over here, and will spend as many resources as they can spare to make us look like "trolls" or "haters."  Fortunately for us the Internet has a long, long memory.  Homero knows it's coming and is starting to get worried about everything he backpedaled on.

I feel shitty for the people that got conned, but this has been an interesting show to watch.  It's a shame it's coming to an end.

i do agree with the fact alot of people got conned, i myself was one of them only thing is it was with the actual miners and not on paycoin. Of course it's an idiotic excuse for a company that was supposedly hiring regulatory compliance officers. Some people in this very thread predicted long ago that one of the excuses used for the inevitable failure will be regulatory issues.

As for the money... even if they had $100 million or even just a hundred bucks, why would they buy a coin, which they already own millions of. Dump is what they'd do. It might take a while with the abysmal volume but they can still salvage a few million USD and screw everyone else in the process. Then come up with an upgrade plan and save everyone from the evils of altcoins like they saved everyone from the evils of mining.

I don´t see why gaw should not be allowed to just buy paycoins. The "floor" is nothing than just buying all coins to 20$. There is no manipulation when you buy something....

This is surely total bull shit right? Isn't this is how countries peg their currencies to others by buying on the open market? There is nothing illegal about this as far as I can tell.
