Thanks guys. I bet I could just bridge a connection from my laptop to the miner now that I think about it. Mining doesn't take any bandwidth.

Direct connect - cable between laptop and the miner ...and just run stratum proxy .exe on the laptop in the background ...and you will be all set...OK... Grin

PM me if you need more help...this is OFF topic here...

Good luck,

ZiG
lol off topic there is nothing that is on topic here, i was actually enjoying the information was interesting thought all miners had to be hard wired for them to work

WaffleMaster, I know mining anything right now is a losing proposition.  Who ever thought buying miners for several thousand dollars to mine highly speculative crypto digits on a screen that you can barely do anything with would ever be profitable?  Some have done it, but the vast majority have not.  Mining is dead, not all new crypto technology needs to be a coin, it can be an exchange, an asset, etc.  I'm not sorry to see these big mining farms go under.

Back on topic, yes, paycoin is more than fucked.  All of you bagholders, sell now while BTC and your XPy is still worth something!

I hope you're right, the difficulty will drop and my machines might turn a profit!

Please add more BTC here (my son will apprecciate it when he's older): 14WsxbeRcgsSYZyNSRJqEAmB1MKAzHhsCT

My take on BTC price fall.

My take on BTC price fall... all because of http://bitcointalk dot org

They have good members, but a huge chunk of it its dedicated to destroy other coins in the efforts to try to elevate theirs. Its the Old Wild West there. I used to try and seek help there when I was started and every time I posted a question the majority of replays will say something like. "if you dont know the answer to that you should be doing this" Arrogance at best, like if they all were born with the skill set. Most people are not there to help. It took me some time and had to look in other places for help.

Investors look at this blog for ideas, and progress in the industry to only find uneducated, rude people.

That's my take, Dont want to generalize, but a big chunk of they user base is like that. I hold them directly responsible for holding the price of BTC.

thats right!!! and you bitcointalk people are also responsible for ebola, getting george bush elected twice and the disappearance of MH370!! take that society!!!

Hey, hey now! Wink

Funny thing, they  had technical difficulties today so the prerecorded the Q&A

Reference: HT Reference / Archive.today link / Web archive link

Yet, if you listen to the Q&A a little after the 13:50 mark, Josh mentions realeasing new features in the next day or two.. then something about "in case they are not available by the time this video airs"...:

Link to YouTube

How can that be if it was recorded earlier today because of technical difficulties?

Honesty, it's not the end of the world, they're welcome to pre-record if they want.. It's more the principle of them making stuff up again, how hard is it to just say we pre-recorded the Q&A earlier this week, here's the link.

So Q&A delayed from 1/7/14 till 1/14/14.  This was the one where people were supposed to get their friends and family involved to ask questions.  I wonder how many people feel utterly embarrassed in front of their loved ones for touting something that flopped as the next big thing and look at that, at the last minute, instead of a Q&A, it's a pre recorded video on youtube, so that went as well as the 30 days of transparency clearly Huh

For your viewing pleasure, Homero just posted the latest Q&A video to YouTube. Unfortunately, even Homero was smart enough to disable commenting.

I'm too sober to watch this shit right now.

I watched for 3 seconds and then had to alt f4 my computer and wipe the hard drive. Guess it's time to buy a new one on Newegg with some Bitcorns.

Looks like I'm going to need to start asking questions here. I was shadow banned on HT for asking questions about the buy back program and must have struck a cord or something. Not feeling great about investing ~20k in GAW at this point.

...and... Huh

Wait, wasn't this changed by the organizers from a speech to a Q&A session? Is he trying to say he came up with this just now?

The point is to set up the Q&A as being about Paybase. That way, he can deflect any questions about anything else by saying he's just sticking to questions about Paybase.

I mean, he typed Paybase three times in six sentences. They're framing this as an exclusively Paybase Q&A so he can ignore any questions about hashlets or the missing Paycoin features.
