I think its absolutely hilarious that there is a class action/group suit going on against GAW Miners.  The fact that people ACTUALLY think they are going to recoup anything from that worthless heap of trash is ludicrous.  I had a suit against GAW Inc. (the one partly owned by Stu) and not a single NDA or contract ever signed, only the thievery of my intellectual property, etc. and you better believe i'm not even going to waste any more time or money on that.  There is nothing to recuperate from any HG company kids.  If he isn't hiding in the garage of his family home in Brattleboro, the dude is probably dead or in prison somewhere outside the country.  

I think it's hilarious that people think they can just sue a company/person and instantly recover the money.  It takes further legal action to garnish wages (against an individual, if you can even do that in said state), it takes liquid assets (in a company), there are so many variables.  The best anyone can hope for is prison for the core individuals involved, including the slow plastic wifey.

By the way, I think I understand what you're saying by "corporate veil" but if I don't correct me:  that is the benefit of a corporation.  The owner's/employee's can not be sued for assets.  The assets recovered by any plaintiff to a suit against said corporation has to be recovered from the corporation's own liquid assets.  So this "corporate veil" you are referring to is just another term for "incorporation" it covers HG completely, and all of his assets.  They are unrecoverable unless you have a suit against him.  I do, however like you said, I highly doubt any of his assets are "traceable" so whats the point.  If you know something I don't, I can easily continue the suit, however, there is nothing left.

Sorry about my lack of quoting ability, but to answer your statement about miavator and your question: yes, the corporate veil has been pierced and the federal government can recover assets, however lawsuits are fought within County civil court's, and there is no way to go after HJG's assets through that system unless you sue HJG directly (and he has liquid assets and other variables).  Also like I said, these are not liquid assets that can be recovered.  What, if any assets HJG has i'm sure are contained in untraceable forms as miavator said.  These cannot be recovered until criminal proceedings, and even then will be difficult to recover if he has convoluted their sources properly (unlikely for a MR like HG).  

As far as if I continue the suit (next hearing is in August), yes, I could win by default.  However recovering assets is a long road.  Winning is only important if you are winning against an individual or corporation that does not have their assets hidden or shielded.  I could literally sue you, you could never show up, I could win by default and you could tell the court "i'm not paying."  Unless your state allowed wage garnishing (which would also require many more court hearing's and judge approval) you could be off scot-free.  Of course suing a corporation is different, but this is a simplification of the process.  Suing a corporation with no assets/hidden assets/shielded assets, it's nearly impossible to recover anything.


EDIT: The hearing in August is JUST for his Attorney's to leave him behind.  I've known since April that they were dropping him as a client and i've complied with their request to not represent him anymore since then, that's how long shit takes.  So you are talking about if I thought I *could* recover assets from GAW Inc, probably several years to see any of it, at the very least.

mk gave me access to unlock accounts a week or two ago.  I had to sacrifice my account balance for the "privilege" and he explicitly said that unlocking accounts would result in that access being revoked.

So I started unlocking accounts

If users are reluctant to post here, then they can stay locked or figure out some other way to get their account unlocked.

A refresher, again.  BTC Lend was using an outdated or insecure coinbase API.  Several users reported that their coinbase accounts were compromised (people bought coins with their accounts and withdrew them).   HashClub deleted my post warning users to check their coinbase accounts, the post was just quotes from btclendtalk and then I was banned from hashclub.org.

There is something that has to be done with saving and scanning the QR code and then something else with ensuring your system time is accurate.   I've never tried to use 2FA without a cellphone so I'm afraid I can be of no help.  I did unlock the account though.
