Gocoin?? WTF is that? I seriously think that Titcoin has more merchants lined up than Paycoin. OK- They are mostly porno, but the last time I checked, that is the #1 business on the net , right??

P.S: What is next ?? Integration with Ripoff coin?

Wait if it's a bitcoin address, isn't it technically a bitcoin transaction? I don't see how any of those transactions would count as paycoin transactions.

I could make purchases in altcoin converted to bitcoin instantly using shapeshift just as well couldn't I?

Good grief.

That's it.

It was mention ages ago, that coinpayments.net takes any coin and converts it and that is what he will be doing. Weeks ago.

And lo and behold it now happens and is presented as some astonishing accomplishment. Advertized as so.

Like taking application for money handling which requires 3 clicks on a .gov site to submit an application, like some monumental milestone in his pretend companie's history.

Now this dud. This nothing. The anything anyone can do.

See, he started out with:

1. We have partner ships with Walmart Amazon and Target
[ crowd goes wild and signs up]

2. Our coin on the market is the biggest and bestest ever in the history of history
[crowd goes wild]

3. We are setting the standard with being registered as money handlers
[crowd goes wild]

4. Our coin is available now by a multi-coin converter
[crowd goes wild]

FUCKING UNADULTERATED BULLSHIT.

All of this any one can do and all have done and are doing.

Someone painted the picture best a few pages back, this is the exact same shit as everyone and everything else painted up pretty.

Good thing all of this is always and cannot not be a funnel.

Shovel the shit and crud and junk in from the top and eventually the fine stream becomes blatantly observable. No not a sieve. A funnel.

Keep a close eye out on the end of it.

Investors don't care... they are so far in they only want to believe that they'll make cash.

Lets be honest though.,... people with 10's of thousands of paycoin aren't interested in buying a computer or groceries etc.. they want a ROI in money dump. They might save 100-1000 paycoin max for actual purchases but that'll be it.

Ok, so what about the pink elephant in the room... what's the exchange rate going to be when I buy something with Paycoin through GoCoin? Because if it's $20 then I'm writing an apology and rushing to spend my 0.34 XPY right away. But somehow I think it's not that simple, is it?

It becomes clearer, Homero's copy-writer is based on the west coast hence @ 9 pm EST. The slug gets off at work at 6 pm her time in order to construct these ditties. Pretty clear from day one none of this over the top announcements are his handiwork.

Quite clear he is an illiterate fuck. The only thing that is interesting is his network of bible-thumpers that he short-bussed in and his incredibly dense cranium incapable of absorbing the obvious.

Everything he says and does is laughable however as long as the clan props him up with accolades he is happy.

The only original thing Homero J Garaza is accomplishing in crypto currency is being the singularly dumbest fuck that Vermont defecated out of its forests.

If it would really be $20 per coin then you'd see all sorts of creativity around this... accounts sold at 50-80% value, etc.

Another question: What happened to the "Bitcoin is so OLD and SLOOOW. Paycoin is modern and FAST" BS? Now the plan is to convert from Paycoin (SLOW-Sorry dudes) and then PAY (hence PAYcoin) to convert it into that oh so old and slow dinosaur, Bitcoin, which can then be spent? Hmm let's see, let me do the math here: New and slow plus old and slow = FAST?? Nope it don't, it = twice as slow.  Sorry morons. Such an amazing load of BS. It is truly frightening that there are thousands of people who still believe this guy.

Suggestion to any moron who still believes that PAYcoin is going to replace Bitcoin: Umm, the plan is to convert PAYcoin into Bitcoin (at a fee) and then use BITCOIN. Wake up!

Another thought after re-reading the announcement. Is this the same type of "partnership" like the ones with Amazon, Walmart et al? I.e. is GoCoin actually aware that they support Paycoin now? Will we see it here:

http://help.gocoin.com/kb/about-gocoin/what-cryptocurrencies-does-gocoin-currently-accept

Or is Paybase just going to send those payments as BTC payments and that's it? I think the announcement can be interpreted either way, some clarity would be nice.

Another question - which merchants are exclusive to Paycoin? I think I missed that announcement if there was one.

Quote
Paycoin already has merchants signed up that are exclusive to Paycoin

@raskul

<<UPVOTE>>

Thanks for putting me onto rentals. My 3.4TH is going for 0.15BTC per day and each 3 hour contract i up it a little more. Seems people still want to pay for not owning their own gear. I did westhash for a while but i'm not so keen on it. They likely get budget rates based on bids etc. I'm not to keen not being able to establish a contract from point to point. I have no idea of knowing how valid the overall bids are to rent gear and its possible westhash can manipulate this (not suggesting they do i just don't like the fact i can't set the rate and they could!). Betarigs is my fav and my fail over is set to digibyte coins as i'm liking that altcoin at present (i keep half and convert half to bitcoin).

anyways thanks again... have another upvote

Agreed.. take even bitcoin people are either holding or riding waves. Forgive me if i misrepresent the the majority but I believe < 10% actually use bitcoin as a daily spending medium. Its gaining momentum but the infrastructure and global acceptance and awareness hasn't reached a critical point where people have a large wallet with the intent to transact all forms of purchases with it yet. Like myself i bet everyone is holding for that day or holding with the intention of converting later.

AUD, USD etc aren't going away anytime soon and i'm from the belief camp that bitcoin / crypto will be highly valuable but again a commodity like gold... only more one you can use scanning at stores to buy purchases. I hold under the premise that i will make money over time... its either to make purchases or to convert into AUD to buy physical assets e.g. land and houses.

That is my intention i won't hide it.

I just can't see this with paycoin. Sure you might be able to spend it everywhere but unless enough people hype the shit out of it to make it seem worth something it'll fizzle. To me its like fools gold or more fools cryptocurrency. Dogecoin was always made as a joke but thats what made it cute and kept it going so it has value.

Paycoin... err i'm not convinced... it doesn't bring anything. Well thats not true it does bring lies and deceit i guess. Time will tell but my gut feel says alot of people are going to be stuck with useless coins. To those holding i say drop all you can to ROI then hold the rest if you believe. Me i don't.... i'm back to bitcoin as my main and a tiny few (dogecoin and digibyte) as secondary alts (bitcoin is my dollar, digibyte and dogecoin my cents)..

@ Tourist : You certainly can set your preferred rate on NH/WH. All you have to do is use p=(rate) for your password. It even will come back after going to your #2 choice and mine if a bid above your rate appears. Check in the FAQ section and it explains it better, but your password will look something like : p=.03  or whatever rate you are willing to rent for.

I'm confused. They list Overstock as using GoCoin. Pretty sure they use CoinBase. I can't find anything saying they use GoCoin.

Is GAW posturing a bit about what merchants accept GoCoin. They state 10,000, however I don't see that number quoted on GoCoins website.

You'd think if GoCoin was supporting tigerdirect, overstock, etc, they'd mention that instead of KNC...

I think they're just mangling it all together - GoCoin "partnership", which is still unclear, and the ability to send to any Bitcoin address.

By the way, XPY source code seems to have been removed from github again. Another hard fork coming?
