How convenient... So the question is, how many people were banned by people who were not officially moderators? What other backdoors are open in their NodeBB implementation?

Maybe there was too much POW happening while moving to POS and it leaked into the forums and banned only people dissatisfied. O shit paycoin has become self aware judgement day and we're all banned! Our only hope is that it stalls its blockchain again and self terminates.

I find it more sad than anything. There's only one place on the internet where GAW has majority support and that's their own tightly controlled forum where any criticism is silently removed.
Agreed... GAW has an unusually strong customer loyalty without much in the way of commitment. I think it's because Josh appears to offer a lot of good will statements from the perspective of always appearing to be the underdog in a campaign fight of some sort. They work very hard at controlling the message and couching any type of critical responses, the hashtalk forum is more like an interactive newsletter than an open message platform. Josh is really a modern day Harry Gordon Selfridge, for better or for worse. At this point, it's more about the message and the marketing than the delivery. I think in the long term, they will turn a corner and the delivery part will start to come through or they will have to close the doors. GAW has a bad habit of moving on to the next thing and then swaying customers along to the next vine to invest in. It's been very successful for them as a group. How long they can maintain the customer base will be an interesting trend to watch. I agree with most of it except the part where you seem to think they can pull this off. I don't think they have shown to have the capability of implementing anything on the scale they're promising. They were moderately successful within a closed system (ZenCloud) and even then had regular issues. As soon as it touched the real world it's dead in the water - XPY initial launch and now switch to POS. And that is a clone of a working coin they manage to mess up. So until they can actually demonstrate consistent quality of engineering over a prolonged period of time - I can't find any reason to trust this will ever work as they would like us to believe. They would be very lucky to achieve that before going bankrupt and have any customers remaining by then.

Update from Jonah (GAW_GM): Naturally, the development and testing time being used to work through the PayCoin code and network will require additional QA and testing to be done on PayBase’s development and testing cycle to make sure QA is up to our standards, meaning PayBase will be launched after Monday. Too bad their QA didn't figure that outsiders could still POW while they tried to wind it down... <sigh> Welp, that means another delay before those "$20" coins are available to the masses. Note they didn't say when it would be launched, just "after Monday".

I think Josh is just waiting with his fingers crossed that if the price will reach $20 on exchanges, then Paybase can magically open. Else if, the price tanks or stays where it is....expect more delays or even a disappearance.

So at this point PayCoin has been stalled out for how long? Looks like over seven and a half hours. Totally worth $20 a coin . . . The banning issue sounds like BS; Josh has finally realized that people in the crypto community hate censorship and the bans are actually starting to hurt business. EDIT: After reading through the NodeBB documentation I've discovered that there is a feature that will promote someone to a moderator. So it sounds like GAW might not be lying; they're just incredibly incompetent.

Faithful: Oh what have we done to deserve this dear lord Homero? Homero: Ye sheep are mingling with the foxes at BCT! This is your punishment! You shall pay for your infidelity and your coin may burn! Yes, burn I say!! To ashes! Unless you heathens change your ways! Only I can save your now, with my updates made by Gawd! No paybase for you! No ROI for you! Unless you repent!!

Nice to see Coinmarketcap sorted out their Paycoin issues. Should be number 3 but I'll settle for 4 for now. http://coinmarketcap.com/Difficult to argue with available supply and open market value. and difficult to debate as whenever I put a valid point to you, you ignore it. that cult got you bad huh? No I'm just trying to stay positive and spread good news when I see it. I'll have a look through your responses and get back to you. i just watched a movie called Sacrament. The good folk in that were doing just the same, staying positive and spreading good news. until their dictator told them all to 'swallow the potion'. omg someone give this man a drink lol good reply made me laugh so had. I spit out my drink, to bad it was the last of my beer and its to cold to walk to store for more and dont feel like taking off ice from car windows.

Here is something that's been bothering me since the 12 million premine was announced, and I don't seem to find a definitive answer to this:
7.2 million coins (60% of the premine) are distributed to Hashpoint customers. That leaves 4.8 million to "investors". But the Prime controllers need to be funded with at least 50% of all coins in existence, i.e. ~6.17 million. 6.17 - 4.8 = 1.37 million - where are those remaining coins coming from? Is GAW borrowing from customers to fund their Prime Controllers? How were they able to do that even before the customers started putting coins into HashStakers? The only feasible alternative is that GAW bought 1.37 million coins on an exchange, but I don't see anywhere near that kind of volume having been transacted before noon yesterday (when the hardcoded Prime wallets were deployed). And it looks like Prime wallets were funded directly from premine anyway, not from an exchange. Any ideas?
LOL dont you know it is not nice to ask this kinds of questions why hell if you was in ht you would be exiled by now to the realm of digital nothing. Just keep quiet and keep buying The problem is, I'd like to buy 125k coins, run a Prime Controller, and dip my hand into the magic money jar, but nobody can tell me how to do that well 125K coins you say well i will take my cut since we such good friends i would recomend you share some wealth i dont care if its even 1 magical gaw coin haha As soon as I get my Prime magic controller I'll be giving money away by the bucket. 400% APY guaranteed. Unless the blockchain gets stuck, that's force majeure. ok i will be holding you to that lets make it a even 10 magical gaw coins then i will be set for life

Can't you get a full refund since the functionality hasn't been released yet? These were converted from zen's, I unfortunately bought into GAW about a week before it all went tits up, so paid over $20. I know I could have sold them for like $10 but thought I would take the hashshitters then sell on the market but it does't look like thats ever going to emerge.

You know it doesn't really matter that the paycoin network is down because no one was really doing anything with it anyway.

Well, we already have KYC and limits. This might be either (a) something CEO just made up on the spot, he tends to do that often; or (b) a new feature he didn't want to mention while pumping the price on exchanges, e.g. the floor price is available only for coins that never left ZenCloud.
