CENT
does it stake?
https://github.com/Rozu/Pennies

(bounty 125 TALK for proof ... say a blockchain link?)

Sure it stakes.  Here is a link to the latest block.  Look at the column titled mint.  That was the last stake, which was for 2940 CENT.

http://pennies-explorer.ddns.net:8080/richi-master.php?7c156e81c55f34b50812023807465f8d4a05e0c0dece7470ec6d7e80c05917ae

Also this is the code in main.cpp that refers to staking rewards:
Code:
// ppcoin: miner's coin stake is rewarded based on coin age spent (coin-days)
int64 GetProofOfStakeReward(int64 nCoinAge, unsigned int nTime)
{
    static int64 nRewardCoinYear = 1;  // creation amount per coin-year
    int64 nSubsidy = nCoinAge * 1 * nRewardCoinYear;

    // Now that we have a block number reduced rewards started use this
    // instead. This should prevent syncing issues going forward.
    if(nTime >= 1389139200)
    {
        nSubsidy = nCoinAge * 0.0001 * nRewardCoinYear;
    }
    if (fDebug && GetBoolArg("-printcreation"))
        {printf("GetProofOfStakeReward(): create=%s nCoinAge=%"PRI64d"\n", FormatMoney(nSubsidy).c_str(), nCoinAge);}

    return nSubsidy;
}

I like DMD
the tech is solid POS+POW(on anti-asic flavor Groestl?)
but the inflation is a bit high.  so i'd watchout for a major down pricing, but it should regain and hold the $500k marketcap after a dip.

Cryptsy - Complaint Filed with the Florida Attorney General [UPDATE]
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=361514.0

UPDATE:

I took a day off on Thursday December 12th and drove up to Tallahassee to the Florida AG's Office. After about an hour lecture and introduction to Crypto for two Investigators and Assistant AG, I then showed them several exchanges and Cryptsy, who was operating inside the State of Florida. Excited wasn't the word, you would have thought it was Christmas in addition to their jaw's dropping when they saw the volume and the amount of unregulated $$$ flowing through Mr. Vernon's site. They were extremely concerned at the potential fraud that was happening and the theory of a possible multimillion dollar ponzi scheme just seemed to materialize out of thin air. While she said they couldn't determine "if anything was indeed amiss, they were certainly going to be talking to Mr. Vernon as well as contacting their Federal counterparts"

Hi, been meaning to post here for a while but have been distracted...

bumbacoin is an oldish coin, nearly 2 years Cheesy although starting off as scrypt pow, converting to x11 pos in nov2014.

During the swap not all coins were exchanged, leaving a few million (of the 20 million in circulation).
We have been giving those away in a variable process for the last few months. (for recent remaining balances see this post https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/338?postId=2893)

After the exchanges it was listed on all (comkort and allcrypt) going the way of the dodo,
we were privileged to get on cryptopia through user votes. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=BUMBA_BTC

----------------------------------------------------------
The basic stake values are:
static reward of 2 coins,
10 minutes min age
30 days max age
30 blocks maturity (lol i'll have to check that number)

Our current giveaway process is a few random giveaways in this thread https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/361

And also twice an hour, we've got a bot sending coins with a random tx fee of between 10-40 coins. So anyone staking has a chance to get that extra fee.

re: How do I get hold of some of these TALK coins?

1. OTC  (pos 4 pos trades) ... I made a OTC thread but business can be done in this thread until it clutters things up
2. alcurex .... https://alcurex.org/index.php/crypto/index
3. tips (PM me your TALK address) ... a kind of p2p faucet

"what do you mean sluggish?"

Takes 10-15min to load and then will 'not respond' once loaded.
I created a fresh new wallet to see if that would help.  Not really.
Still derping around with it ... it doesn't seem to be a memory beast like others ... like i say i like it wouldn't minded leaving a client running most of the time but right now it is a bit frustrating given how i got things running.

Seems to stake flat rate of 2 bumba?

PM me a TALK addie will return the idea of bonus TX fees Wink

(PoW/PoS) consensus system
Cold staking and decentralized stake pooling
Internal voting system
pow = BLAKE256 = merge mined
Hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallets - Wallets use a seed to deterministically generate addresses, so your wallet can be restored from a single BIP0032 seed.
Transaction expiration - Transactions have a new expiration field to prevent inclusion into the blockchain after a certain height.

@bumba
yeah windewrs ... [sad face]

i think i've sorted the issue myself will report more if or if i don't get it working ... but it still seems to be a bloated wallet.dat ... so still working on it, 99% sure it's not a bug/glitch just a frustration Wink

  woah - this project l00ks very interesting ...

   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1290358.0

(PoW/PoS) consensus system
Cold staking and decentralized stake pooling
Internal voting system
pow = BLAKE256 = merge mined
Hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallets - Wallets use a seed to deterministically generate addresses, so your wallet can be restored from a single BIP0032 seed.
Transaction expiration - Transactions have a new expiration field to prevent inclusion into the blockchain after a certain height.

and more

VNL is trying to solve the problems that Bitcoin is instead of coming out with marketable gimmicks.

-You can send unlimited coins over Zerotime, as opposed to Dash.

-VNL network can process 100 transactions/second on-chain (15x BTC) and 15,000 tx/sec off-chain (3x Visa's daily peak tx rate)

-Only coin other than Bitcoin that only requires 1 confirmation on Poloniex.  You can test this by going here: https://poloniex.com/public?command=returnCurrencies and searching for minconf":1,"

-Only coin that has staking mobile wallets that allow you to move your wallet.dat to your PC from your Android and iOS wallets

-Only coin with near-instant 0-confirmation transactions that doesn't use master nodes.  You can receive node incentives if you have 10,000 in collateral, but collateral is not necessary to be a super peer.  You just need an open VNL port, a certain amount of uptime, and possibly a certain amount of bandwidth.

-Only coin that has encrypted connections and gives you a random port if you have no config.dat.  All your ISP will see is normal SSL traffic while monitoring your ports, which is unlike what happens with all other coins.  If you're using Bitcoin and your ISP monitors your ports, it will know you're using port 8333, which means it knows you're using Bitcoin.

-Only coin that automatically burns all tx fees, and they're not sent to a burn address either

Also, you can get some for free until December 26 00:00:00 GMT if you'd like to try it.  See here for instructions:

VNL is looking interesting regarding mobile staking and android to windows portability Wink
