for all those concerned,
bumbacoin will be implementing a hard fork soon to implement some security fixes.
the updated code should be ready in the next few days, with a fork date of a couple weeks after code release

more information to come

Anyone with a Member account level or above with good standing want to trade some DOGE for talk?   I would appreciate it.  Not talking about very much.  Yobit wallet is frozen and I can't buy from Novaexchange because I live in USA.  I'm looking for 1500 Talk for 775 DOGE.

Probably true.  A vast majority are accredited to Poloneix.  And I would bet 4 years after delisting (and selling off to Circle) that they do not have the keys,

@paramind22
I am willing to do 1500 Talk for 775 DOGE, PM.

Ethereum’s roadmap to version 2.0, which moves the protocol from proof-of-work (PoW) to proof-of-stake (PoS).

TALK has been POS since 2014.  [5 years ahead of ETH 2.0]
ETH will push the POS architecture into public consensus.
BTC or POW architecture is nearly defunct, most chains have 51% pool capture.
Do the homework.

2019 looks good for POS Grin

cw
He can, or rather could have some coins because he got into space early. It would be stupid not to buy Bitcoins cheap or mine them in the days when you could do it on your average laptop. He's greatly exaggerating his resources. He might have a couple million dollars to juggle but no more. People who talk much rarely deliver and Craig is very talkative. He insults and threatens people who don't agree with him. All this puffing and huffing and Satoshi's coins remain untouched.

in 2012.. i got in. i seen price histories of cents-a couple$ so seeing $6 my mindset and many mindsets of people was $6 was "not cheap"

hindsight 7 years on is NOW.. that $6 was cheap. but at the time people did not think things were cheap as they couldnt predict the future

also what proof is there that craig wright got into bitcoin "early".
all i see is that he made some tulip trust of public keys that anyone can do
also his drama started in 2013+[mainly 2015 onwards].. not 2008-2012

so id say he had no bitcoin prior to 2012

lastly the most important part..
craig wright has nothing related to bitcoin. so can we just side line him as old boring social drama of 2015-2018... and not bring his name up again in 2019

the BUMBA is awesome.

 Cheesy

--

random note since TALK is BTC centric, aside from POS chains.

BTC seems to be bankers bullion.  High fees per TX, lots of spin to include the others, yet only offers sidechain *cough ALT coin* **cough shitcoin solution**.

I've listened to SV arguments, and consider a wait 2 years and see, but the "ledger as commodity, spam is good, big blocks" ethos has merit.

So that leaves btcABC as waht?  Maybe liquidity, but then why not LTC?  Which actually has better and cheaper performance.

Also what happened to BCH?  Doesn't exist.

it may come down to legalities and marketing as to who wins.

personally i cant see the metanet as actually useful, big blocks with scripting sounds good, but an acutally useful blockchain bloated with personal photos and other spam data sounds unlikely.
the main issue i see with BSV is the same thing that BTC is trying to prevent, is centralised storage of chain data, google is a useful great big behemoth, but BSV becoming google is not my idea of great crypto - and when it bloats to the fuck it seems we will rely on some payment based gatekeepers to access it.

ignoring possible legalities, i see the big block war coming down to scripting.
with BSV committed to original OP_CODES BCH may win if they are nimble and add more useful OP_CODES

The BSV eye is on becoming google/mastercard.
Seems the intent is to market themselves to Enterprise as a "payment/invoice/inventory/logistics channel".
Blockchain database.

While BtcABC likely will win via the brandname.
Thus general consumers will use BtcABC as a cheaper way of sending bitcoin.
Which I think is a highly competitive market with 100s of ALT-shit-coins that can do the same cheaper and faster.

The big block wars are entertaining.  Blockchain Enterprise database, IMO, are nonsense at least for large Enterprise, because why pay-per-TX when you can use a nearly free in-house chain that is not public nor monetized yet still provide the distributed/failsafe of block tech.

In the end BTC finally realized the primary function is to just be a coin, a store of value.  BSV and BtcABC will take 5 years to figure out they to are just another coin.

In other news today...F-ing Craptopia Cry

Talk coin need to wake up in 2019 or Die forever!

Since this thread is a hub of information about staking coins, not just TALK, maybe we can form an assembly of competent people that helps good staking coins, including TALK, stay alive.
