I'm guessing now is as good a time as any to say that i agree with the idea to divorce BCR from BTC, just look at the massive price difference in three weeks.

Took some time to update the website, i'm also going to use the recent stock market crash + bitcoin crash to emphasize my point

Check it out :- http://bcrp2pool.website/

Looks excellent! (I'm still not a fan of text over pictures though.)  Grin

As to divorcing BCR from BTC, I think that'll happen pretty naturally by BCR being

a) Useful
b) Backed by more than hot air

Ever heard of  Bitreserve?

Funny how we managed to put their business model into a small part of our ecosystem huh?  Cheesy

Hmmm... a sea of paper, and no physical. 0.5/10, would not hit.  Grin

However, I vote we steal also adopt "Proof of Solvency".

Umm... we already have it in the wallet... check the statistics tab. I only need to correct a few lines for it to be accurate. I guess i can add the word "solvency" but we do indeed already track all our assets. I also intend to introduce a reasonably independent routine that tracks fiat and PM.

Note that not only are we tracking assets, we also track the money supply and determine not only how much has been minted , but how much is held in  escrow and how much is unavailable due to being used as collateral for BNs.... This has a pending expansion where we will track how much is held in contracts, user/tx escrow and as collateral for assets issued. The extended trust and statistics engine is the one stop shop for the most accurate real-time data regarding the system. Did i mention it also tracks current bids and can include them in it's calculations?

 Smiley

More to come

edit: um...about that voting code...it can double as a ratings system for BNs.... i guess there is a strong reason to add it....

BN rating is based on trust/credit rating, time existing and user review....

any news on p2pool updated version ?

No progress on that front, i need someone better versed in python to make the necessary changes.

Either that or we go all out on the BN only mining with immediate effect

Could this be adapted? The gitian conf files are in the DASH repo, maybe just a  find/replace of a few strings? I think you need to sign up as an Apple Developer to get the right OSX libs to plug in, they're not freely distributable. I know that you can't do it under Openbox, as it doesn't support subvirtualisation.
