Hi guys, just downloaded the ubuntu binary, wrapper works perfectly, thanks for that!

Not sure if you've seen this but the text is not really visible when I hover over any of the 3 symbols at the bottom right (stake/network/sync)
Now, it looks like as if the text colour was just a few shades away from the background - oooor could also be a missing font issue, if you don't see the same on win wallets

Writing that down for the next release, we will try to figure out what's going on. Thanks  Smiley.

my wallet now syncing thank you to all of you who have been doing mining

Wallets may go out of sync soon for a few hours, our miner Nthused will be back for faucet launch though, so no worries Smiley.

I followed exactly the steps on http://www.findcoin.info/exchange.html to exchange coins.

When i open Findcoin-qt it says "Warning: Error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect."

I should be worried? wallet syncs fine but there are some transactions "conflicted" it seems  Roll Eyes

I have sent my old coins in for exchange and the transactions shows as conflicted,is that as it should be?, and is the wallet still going to work for distribution now or do I need a second wallet for the distribution?

Are you trying to open new wallet with old appdata?

You can move old appdata to D:\OLDFIND\DATA for example and create shortcut to old wallet with key

-datadir=D:\OLDFIND\DATA\

Then you can run new wallet with default appdata without any keys, or if you want then run with key

-datadir=D:\NEWFIND\DATA\

Folder NEWFIND\DATA must be created before.

I think all of us have this error, lets wait and see what happens when coins are sent.

Conflicted transactions are normal with the new wallet, as they did not occur on the new FindCoin network (You don't need to do anything, you will get your coins and you can transfer them to a clean wallet if you wish to do so). Distribution starts in 2 and a half hours. Head to the IRC if you want to get quick answers Smiley.

The wallets operate on the same keys, the transactions will show errors as they are from the old network. Appdata is incompatible, yes (It has the old blockchain).

Yea no problem. The wallets will work, but you will see unconfirmed transactions from the old network. These won't affect you during distribution or anything like that. I just added in the exchange form how you can get rid of the old transactions by sending your coins to a new wallet after you receive them from us. TLDR: Wait until you get your coins from exchange and then switch to a new wallet by following steps I just added to the exchange form.

Will the source for the wallet be released anytime soon? I can't run the compiled ubuntu binary as it appears to be compiled for 32bit arch. And it does appear a bit fishy that no source is provided, what do you have to hide after all? It's just a bitcoin-qt fork.
