Just came across this thread. Why is it called Paycon ? Wasn't it Paycoin ?

Yes it was PayCoin, but Josh decided that since he really loved conning people out of their life savings soo much that he'd change the name to PayCon.

Blocks need a minimum of 2 days before they are eligible to Stake. Once you have some Blocks of Coins that are above the minimum age, the little green arrow will light up like a lantern and boom! You have Blocks competing for Stake on the network.

So, you mean to say that if I send some coins to different addresses that I create, I mean if I distribute them to my new addresses that I will make, with a specific time gap like 1-2 days, will I be able to stake more and stake good than what I am staking currently?

It's a completely different, new and innovative coin with a very much new concept, better than PayCoin... They didn't even fulfill their promise of not letting XPY down below $20 a coin, and you know what, I didn't see it sold at $20 ever... Tongue I got in earlier, tripled my coins and got out, as I knew that GAW will F**k everyone as the way they were talking about the cap, how come they will be deciding the value of the coin and how they would have been hodling it there even if they ever tried to do so?

Yeah I sent the guy a message who posted about it and he sent me the email of the guy that does it and will get a hold of him tomorrow. It probably doesn't matter if it's just an alias or email address really because more features and more stuff to do with your Coins is always better.

Send via sms? that's basically an android wallet Tongue

Oh fantastic, hopefully they like it and will list it. I have contacts to some of the Cryptsy guys as well but never really chat with them, I'm sure they would know me by name atleast as I used to talk/argue with BitJohn a fair bit, talked with Mullick a few times and maybe a couple other staff.

I am secretly hoping that CON doesnt get listed on Cryptsy.  Cryptsy is where coins go to die.. thus the name.

I haven't really been pushing it, I sent BitJohn a message but I like Polo, BTER and Bittrex a bit better. Cryptsy does have a lot of volume so I guess we will see, I definitely wouldn't be saying no if they wanted to list it.

any giveaway? Cheesy

I'll giveaway 1000 CON per node that people want to host and post the IP address for people to connect to.

Otherwise I sometimes do giveaways on the C-Cex chatbox, giveaways aren't allowed on Bticoin forums

Just shy of 560 votes on BTER!! and now rank 57

Keep voting and vote often!

https://bter.com/voting#CON

Also if anyone wants to setup any service or has any ideas on things they would like to add for PayCon, feel free to make them or put the ideas out there. Can't rely on just one person to do everything otherwise nothing will ever get done. There are no rules on what you can use CON for and anything is good, the more extreme and crazy the ideas the better! Lets start making some waves and really push this higher.
