I for one will NOT bring anyone else in new without clear guidance.  I have been burned too many times on friends and family coming in on coins.  With the limited communication on dividends I am not comfortable allowing people to invest when I am not even sure when I will be paid.

Finding large investors would be no problem, but when something goes wrong or dividend payments are late (or no dividend payments, situation as of now) then i have a big problem ^^

The most important question for current and future shareholders is:


Does AMBER pay dividends until 25th after each quarter going forward or not?

Until now, I have stopped buying more Ambercoin because I am not sure if dividends would really be paid or not. If there would be an announcement that would prove otherwise, then I would gladly buy some more and become a shareholder. But if not, I will just hold my investments until there is good news about dividends. Just sharing my thoughts.

It's a slow time of year and prices generally go down on altcoins.  Also with the price of BTC going up, a lot of people have switched back to it.

In other words, it's a good time to buy.  When the dividends are paid, it's a bonus.

Those both are true: Christmas and the bitcoin price. However, amber was much stronger agains such influences (we saw it in the past). I fully agree, getting the dividends as expected and the certainty for the further time will increase the faith in this coin agin.

I did the same. I remembered somewhere saying the dividens would be paid in the 3rd week of december. Now it is the first week of january.

I also became a shareholder, mainly thanks to the promise of dividends. Wondering when we will hear something about that, just like everyone else. If the company wants to sell more of their coins I think something has got to be done in that regard. It has come to the point where ignoring constant questions about dividends, and trying to pump the latest promo is not going to get the desired results.

Exactly fitzy... He's ambercoinDEV not ambercoinCEO. Killing the messenger is not the right move. But what everyone says is right, dividends show up coins will be bought. One way or another q4 is due in a month, so 30ish days from now we'll be happy or raging mad.

For such young company like Amber-Trade business capital 5 mil GBP is impressive (they just rised about week ago). I work for company operating 4-5 countries/500+ workers and they have business capital little more than 1 mil GBP and operated actively 20 years. And they are very respected (partners/banks/clients/governments agencies) mostly due to the business capital being not some thousand gbp/usd/eur minimum, as most companies have.
I think Amber-Trade has directed main effort to the maintaining new amberfields and securing loan (or there are new main investor(s) - rise of the business capital), "multi-million-dollar AmberCoin business" with massive 0.5...1 BTC daily turnover can wait until vital things are done. I have no doubts about everything being ok and every promises get fulfilled.
It is important that Amber-Trade manager is woman and not 20 year old youngster - women in business can be cruel, but they are always fair and usually they win.

+1 - Agreed - I don't see how you can push a promotion to bring in our friends and family when you know darn well we are all waiting on the Q3 dividends.  It is called reliability and I know you say you are working on it but that is about as valuable as me trying to cup air in my hands to breathe.  We are all focused on one thing and that is the REASON we invested in your coin!  That is quarterly payments in the form of dividends.  You must know that this is what is stagnating this coin?  You also must know that the longer you keep silent the longer this coin will sit at these levels.  You also must know that in order to build trust, integrity, and a community that rallies around you - you must follow through with what you say you will do!

well, even questions about the promo are going unanswered so...i wouldn't hold my breath waiting on any answers for dividends. probably would be a good idea to just remove the whole BUY, HOLD & GET DIVIDENDS in BTC/$ part from the title of this thread.
