Hhmm if ever that happens I think a lot of people will be millionaire and billionair and that will be nice.
But I think we won't be that high in 2020 maybe in year 2050 or something like that.
Maybe I am wrong, maybe in 5 years we will see more than 10.000 dollars.
By 2020 bitcoin might be much more widely used than it is today. So 10,000 per coin is quite reasonable. |

With 100 bitcoins you would be a millionaire before 2020 itself. Because by 2018 you just need less than 100 bitcoins to become millionaire. So, by 2020 you may become multi millionaire.

Why do you predict the bitcoin market price to reach above 10,000 by 2018? If the price increases faster its better. I like to know why you predict 2018. If the price is $6000 by 2020, that is already very good. Assume price double every year, 2020 price is 16 times of today's price. |

100 BTC are a lot for me. If Bitcoin keeps going on until that date, then yes, you will probably be a millonaire by 2020. I think it is harder that it survives until that time with a low value than for it to raise price.

The inflation rate will be less than two per cent within ten years. If there's some proper demand by then then it could get interesting and threads like this might look very quaint. |

Well we never can tell what will happen with bitcoin by then. 2000 -3000 dollars is also a good amount of money. I am just hoping as a minimum 5000 dollars or more. I'm completely different from you. By 2020 only one bitcoin is more than enough to become millionaire. I believe in bitcoin's growth in exponential manner. So, bitcoin will be hitting $10k mark by end of 2016, then 2020 would be year we can see bitcoin will be hitting one millions mark. It's a bit too optimistic. A realistic optimistic price speculation is 10k$ by 2020 IMHO and that would make a lot of people happy (including me). 100 BTC is definitely a good position (a good bet ?) for the future. If the price reaches $10k by 2020, 100 bitcoin is worth $1 million. I suggest anybody with the ability to buy 100 bitcoin do that. i have 178btc but its less likely to happen. havent cross the $1k mark yet and its not going to be over $1k by 2020 IMHO |

The price going to anything above 5k is debatle. In fact I am quite sure it's not going that high.
The last pump on this scale 200 to 1200 was a once in a life time oppertunity.
Normal pumps will get a max 200/300 pump at a time.
$200 to $1200 is not as exciting as $10 - $200 (direct result of halving) in terms of percentage gain. Halving is incredibly disruptive in terms of supply/demand and market dynamics. You have more and more money chasing fewer and fewer daily Bitcoin output, I think $5000 or even $10000 is not unlikely after the halving. |

Halving is incredibly disruptive in terms of supply/demand and market dynamics. You have more and more money chasing fewer and fewer daily Bitcoin output, I think $5000 or even $10000 is not unlikely after the halving.
Excitement/adoption's looking pretty static these days. If more money did come in I think there'd be enough people willing to let go of existing coins to plug the gap. I'm not betting the farm on any type of halving action. I won't object if there is one all the same. |

You need more then 100 btc for sure, as I don't think that price will reach to the moon in next 4 years, its better if you make more efforts and try to earn as much bitcoin as possible till then.

Yeah, totally depends on the value of bitcoin in future, if the price is good you can surely become a millionaire and if the price drops down then you need to have more btc in your wallet to be a millionaire. |

Yeah, totally depends on the value of bitcoin in future, if the price is good you can surely become a millionaire and if the price drops down then you need to have more btc in your wallet to be a millionaire. i think the best times to be a millionaire were when bitcoin was still worth below $50 per coin. nowadays it's difficult to collect enough coins to make you a millionaire at some point in the future, unless the price goes up to $10,000 and higher. but then again, you will need to buy plenty of coins at current prices. |
