Tau-Chain and Agoras Official Thread: Generalized P2P Network

Would you guys mind keeping the noise down before we will have a similair situation as the one we had in July(https://steemit.com/tauchain/@dana-edwards/last-chance-to-get-cheap-agoras-tauchain-before-the-july-1st-price-increase).

The promise was made to deliver some coding before the end of 2017 but hickups can occure. And to add new investors this early they should be given realistic expectations. Such as that the official release is gonna need some time, years maybe. And because Ohad is working hard on the coding the website hasn't changed since 2016. Let us wait a little longer so we can have a good foundation after some coding has officialy been published before we even think about promoting. The dev has said many times that promotion is the last priority at this stage, deadlines are too far apart to be promoting it right now. After the codes have been released how long will it take before something new will be published? And how long will these new investors hold on to their bags? Think about the volatility and frustrations that it will bring forth.

What I am saying is don't make empty promises to possible investors without proof. Ohad has only one outlet and that is on the IRC(http://tauchain.org/logs/fn/%23%23idni.log). Everyone can easily check out what has been said. Don't hurt the reputation of Ohad or Agoras for your own personal gains.

I don't benefit from this as my coins are locked anyway, but I do like seeing a bit of attention on something as worthy as tau

Ohad has fairly recently said that all efforts are directed to producing working code for part of the TML by year's end and a release should be likely. I think this is public knowledge insofar as it's knowledge available in the public IRC channel.

I think it's expected that less than a month before the release of the first part of tau, the market will take notice. Maybe drawing undue attention isn't the best move but people should still be able to be enthusiastic over something that's worth getting excited about.
