plenty of time to download
Too bad the software is broken. I was enjoying it for those couple of weeks it worked. I understand people have been having problems but for me it has worked since day one. Windows 8.1 Apparently it no longer works under virtual environments. In my case, Parallels on a Mac. I have tried, just now again, on XP, 7 and 8.1. Works on none of them. Software tells you it needs to upgrade, apparently downloads the update, then you get the security warning about things downloaded from the internet or whatever it says, then after clicking Yes, nothing else happens. That fact that Micon just ignores these posts is enough evidence that they really don't have what it takes to support the software, and the site will never get back to where they were before. Sad really.

Does any one know if this site has Krill Freerolls still?! I have an account there but they had increased the amount of Krill needed to enter the one I was playing in weekly.

They haven't started back up yet, but yes there will still be Krill freerolls on here eventually.

Hello brother, it's not true. I have the same problems and He supports me answering to all of us in several messages. I can play in virtual mode with swcclient.exe from Program Data/swcpoker (sometimes I must try it several times, but i can play at last. Micon tell us in other message that there is a problem with its update engine , and ther are working on it. I expect it to work well. See you

Mac Parallels fix if you are having trouble connecting to SwC from a VM: http://kb.parallels.com/en/4948 To use the Bridged networking mode, go to your virtual machine's Configuration -> Hardware -> Network and choose Bridged: Default Adapter or Ethernet or WiFi depending on your needs.

There seems to be a serious lack of cash games running (in addition to the barren MTT schedule) since I last played a couple weeks ago. I tried to table start for two hours today and nothing. Are there any plans to try to incentivize people to actually play poker on the site?

I have tried all 3 a few times now. Doesn't fix the issue. Thanks for responding and I hope you get it fixed. I should add that I am running Parallels 9 and the current version of OS X. So one version behind on Parallels, which hasn't been a problem for anything else.

I agree, there is a lack of cash going ATM. I think our rocky start with the lag had something to do with it. Currently the system has been running stable. I think Mac client, Android, HTML5, Linux will add back many players. We are planning on how we will bring back the krillrolls, and have an advertising strategy once we have all clients. Network effect poker is only achieved when everyone reports to one site. It's one of those few cases where decentralization hurts the economy. Much work to do, but I have a plan and it's being executed as we speak.

So you don't expect to have any sort of decent cash game volume until you roll out all the clients, then create an advertising strategy, then implement it? So I should check back...after the series?

The cash game action is a little sparse on SwC at times, but I think you'd be surprised if you put out a little extra effort. I've found that if I sit at a table, people will usually sit in eventually. There are other guys out there looking for action just like you are. I've never logged onto the site and been unable to find any action.
I'm on twitch several times every week and have never had an issue getting tables running for the stream.

The general sequence was (and continues to be) correct
☑ Get out of Nevada fast ☑ Insulate previous partners who want out ☑ Pay anyone who wanted to withdraw funds ☑ Transfer coins, krill, and status to players on the new platform ☑ Launch the new software ☑ Make things right ☐ Debug the new software (they have improved it noticeably) ☐ Roll out Android, HTML, Mac, Linux clients ☐ Implement creative, cost-effective promotions and incentives ☐ Give players what they want ☑ Be Brave

Network effect poker is only achieved when everyone reports to one site. It's one of those few cases where decentralization hurts the economy. Agree. You need people playing in order to get more people to play. It's kind of a chicken/egg thing. But once you reach a certain point it will snowball. I also agree that there are times when there is a lack of action. But, like Micon posted, I know that they have a plan and things are still on track. The first issue they were worried about was improving connectivity. Now that they have turned the corner in that area they can start to work on promotions and expanding the games. The games will get a lot better soon with an expanded tournament schedule, promotions, krillrolls, and other-than-windows versions. This is just the beginning. Also, like Naked said, a lot of times even when there aren't tables running I feel like there are still people waiting to play. There are people that don't want to start tables, but will join once it gets 3 handed. It obviously depends on which game/stake you are looking for... but sitting and posting an action request has usually worked well. I think of it like a scene at a school dance in some cheesy movie. Everyone standing around on the sidelines not wanting to be the first one to start dancing. But once one guy does then eventually the whole party joins in.

I think if we got a way to filter HU tables out of the Active tab it would probably help the action in the flop games. Even if you want to table start sorting out the 1/6 from all the 1/2s is irritating.
Alternately, it's a good time to learn mixed games and OFC.
Micon, I do think you guys should be using the capability of the new software to have deposit bonuses often, even now. Make them clear really slowly if you have to, but make them large and promote them.
