But... they could have them sent to someone else - like a friend in Vegas or another SwC player that is going to be there for the Series to hand out.

- I doubt the mystery team who currently own/run SWC, which likely isn't currently making money, are going to pay for a Rio vendor booth during the series.

- Even if they did, I doubt CET is going to take money and allow a competitor who is currently being investigated by the NVAG to promote in their hallways.

- If someone went there and tried to solicit without a valid permit, they will likely be trespassed in about five minutes.

It just isn't very smart.

Right... but I never said anything about a booth, or vending, or soliciting though.

I'm just talking about having someone who's already going to be there hold on to some hats and patches... and then meeting up with people that want one.

Likely through Twitter.  Either he meets them at their table, or they find him at his.  Or somewhere in between.  Nothing too complicated.  We're not talking about trying to give away thousands of hats to random people.  Just the small group of SwC players that make it there.

Website down?  Trying to update my client.

No, the site is up.

I just tried typing in "swcpoker.eu" and it wouldn't load, but using "https://" it did.

SwC 5/10/15 UPDATE:

Krill Leaderboard comes to a conclusion in about 11 hours https://swcpoker.eu/krill-leaderboard/ and it appears that no one can catch "KuntyKunter," but positions 2nd through 5th are still up for grabs.  SwC is proud to announce that "Krill Leaderboard" will continue next week and award the same prizes!

For our tournament players, the "Little BTC" & "Medium BTC" will run today.

Client Update:  Mac & Android clients are at the early stages of development.

One idea I liked from another site was counting hands that a particular player plays over a week, and then qualifying or giving him an entry into a tournament with a GTD prize pool maybe at the end of the week. But since this can be taken advantage of by playing many hands at 0.01/0.02, maybe you could set a limit of stakes like over 0.05/0.1 or something.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=962440.msg11316563#msg11316563

That does sound good, perhaps that will increase the traffic on the site as well. And like the hands tournies, this can't be taken advantage of.

@SwC_Poker any updates on new clients ?

Ah sorry missed it. What about the in browser client ? I thought that would be worked on before being priority . And is there any ETA on the clients ? Seems it has already been 3 months since the window client was released .

FWIW, Micon discussed this several pages back.  It seems they hadn't planned on html5/browser client being so valuable to people.  When polls and discussion showed them how much people wanted it, they said the'd eventually do it but I think it's at the end of their list.

Hi Brothers

I like very much bitcoin, your site and your effort to get up the site, but i'm cash player and I have many problems to be able to play each day. I hope you launch android and web players and advertising very soon. Now, I must look for another site, but I'll try to continue playing with you, at least a bit. I expect to come back soon, when there is more trafic.

A few pages ago (a few days ago), Micon had said that they were about 2-3 months out.  I suppose that's still basically the case.  Full disclosure: I'm also waiting for this desperately!

Should actually be on the top of their list, and should have actually been the first one to launch, since I believe the html client already existed on the previous site which had the same software.
HTML client essentially will allow all operating systems to play, whereas now its only limited to Windows.

HTML client should definitely have priority over mobile.

Have to agree, there are definitely a few waiting for browser interface as I am one of them. I will keep dropping by and hopefully it won't be to long into the future because this is by far the best and most trusted site I would like to play at long term.

SwC doesn't have the same software as Seals did. They bought a Windows client from Grid Poker. (Which is soooo far beyond Mavens it isn't remotely comparable.)

I think we're all in favor of having an HTML client as soon as possible, but I for one have no desire to go back to playing on Mavens. Give them the time to develop it.

Thank you, yeah that was just a rough brainstormed idea... but the basic idea is something I think would work.

Either way though, I'm confident that they'll come up with something good.  I offer suggestions but I still trust that they know what they're doing.

Yeah, the software that SwC bought and built on was Windows only.

That software was pretty nice before they got it, but there was still a lot of work to do improving and adapting it to SwC before being able to switch focus to building other clients.

They've done a really good job too.  It's been improved a lot since they started working on it, and the current version is even a lot better than when SwC first launched.
