How is it possible for the site to continuously reduce guarantees, promotions, and tournament buy-ins, but yet they can't change one number in the cashier? LOL!

SWC has ALWAYS made it a habit to DECREASE payouts with the INCREASE of the price of bitcoin, in their own words, 'to reflect the current value of bitcoin', yet the minimum withdraw stays the same. Essentially making it harder and harder to withdraw your coins from the site, since the 100 remaining players are too frightened to play pretty much anything above the absolutely lowest stakes games available.

I could be wrong, although I haven't been wrong about anything regarding SWC in the past, but the whole story of it taking time to address the cashout issue seems like a dick move to make it as hard as possible for recreational players to move chips off site for as long as possible.

Not to mention, now that SWC has inevitably had a significant amount of passive net worth increase from the INSANE growth bitcoin has experienced in the last month or so, it would be nice if they actually took A MOTHERFUCKING IOTA of that money and used it to 1)address glaring problems that have been going on with their current site for almost 3 years now, instead of basically telling the remaining loyal players to deal with it or fuck off, 2)invest in actual developers, not your friend's roommate's cousin, to develop the alleged new client that is supposed to be coming out, 3)buy a fucking ounce of integrity, particularly when it comes to being forthright and honest about issues that have nothing to do with the security of the site, which is a veil they like to hide behind in order to avoid answering the hard questions.

SWC has been handling it's player base with retard gloves for easily the past 1.5 years+. And I've been calling them out on it since even before that. While I'm glad more of you are finally seeing the reality of the situation, I wonder if more people had been vocal at the onset of these issues if we would still find ourselves in this position.

But I digress, SWC, you can file this under W, with the rest of my posts in this thread, for Wasted Time.

Regards,
BttB

When BTC went to $2700 in July, I had a chat w glitch in the chat box and then wrote to management.  Within 12 hours, they reduced rake.  That was pretty awesome customer service.  But they betrayed their capabilities.

That rake structure has remained in place as BTC surpasses $15k.

I multi tabled a 1/2 limit and 2/4 limit game for a bit tonight.  The rake cap in the 1/2 was .7 chips, or something like $12/hand.  In the 2/4 game the rake cap was only .6 chips or like $10/hand, cuz there were only 3 of us.

That's the issue that impacts me the most, though the high withdrawal threshold definitely impacts more players and I don't understand why we have to wait until "early '18" (which could be a vague way of saying late March for all I know) for these changes.  It begs the question: should we stop playing until "early '18"?

New client should be ready for alpha testing soon and maybe it cost a lot of money to produce.  Management has told me that in combination w other key changes that - no more tablestarter, flat rb based on krill, lower rake, consistent and varying promos, larger presence in the community/social media - this new client will be a game-changer.

Now that we know they could lower rake and withdrawal threshold within 12 hours, I can see why people are frustrated.

This is so sad, and is really indicative of the type of non-poker playing people we are dealing with here.  They think that horrible customer service, super high rake, no rakeback, taking away guaranteed lifetime rewards,refusal to change a $300 minimum withdraw, and ZERO MARKETING are all fine as long as they come out with a client that looks slightly different from the last one they bought.

Guys, if you are reading this...stop.  It won't make a lick of difference.  A new client should be the last on your list of priorities.  There's nobody left to play on the new client!  And you have no plan in place to get anyone to play on it.  You're doing this completely backwards!

Also please don't ignore all of my questions from a few days ago.  Here they are again:

Let me guess...that's coming "in a few months"?  Why don't you update it to reflect what is currently going on on your site?  Why is the only place anyone can see what is actually going on on the site to check this random non-poker related message board?

I've asked this before (ignored obviously) but what do you guys do all day?

What have you done in the last two years to improve the site?  What has changed from then to now to make anyone believe that things are/will change?

And please don't say that we'll see in a few months.  It shouldn't be hard to say "We have done _____, ________, and _______; ________ is 75% of the way done, ___________ is 50% of the way done" etc.  A good example is the mobile client.  That's been "coming" for a very long time now.  It was supposed to be here over the summer.  It's now the winter.  What's finished on it?  How far along are you on the parts that aren't finished?  How many people are coding it?  How many hours have they been working on it thus far?

Also I'd like to add "Why did you lie about not being able to post on 2p2?"

This is my plan. I have a tiny bit of money on there from my last rakeback payment and am playing the no-rake games when I really feel like some OFC. But no real games until something changes for the better.

They've invested too much time, effort, and money on developing a new client to turn back now - whether it's the primary concern of the players or not.

Rakeback will still be there, but it makes more sense to MASSIVELY DECREASE RAKE than to offer 50% tablestarter, which discourages 4+ games.  Promotions will be varied, fun, and geared towards players of all skill levels and bankrolls, I've been told.  Withdrawal threshold will change in some manner, to the players' benefit.  Hopefully they will lower rake again SOON, as they have indicated in their last post on the matter.

The've put most of their eggs in the "new client" basket.  If they roll out the new Android client, along w keeping their word on the host of other issues players have posted about, the site could be great again.  Two most pressing issues appear to be rake and withdrawal threshold.  Those should be handled quickly, whether the new client is ready for testing next month or not.  Rake is the most pressing issue for me, personally.  But the withdrawal threshold affects more players (and people always need access to more of their money at this time of year).

They said they would use most of my suggestions - lowering rake and withdrawal threshold ASAP this year are my big 2 . . .
Let's see what happens over the next few weeks.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Do you have any actual evidence of this or just an email from SwC saying so? Maybe I should be less skeptical but at this point...

They could also do like UB did, where if you were one of the first two players at a table you got table-starter rakeback for an hour regardless of how many people joined.

Hey, what about all of the questions I asked?

I'm glad to see you are at least reading them, seeing as you tweeted for the first time in two months today.

This is what I worry about when depositing my bticoin onto 3rd party websites. Are they going to turn around and invest my BTC into something else? Just like fractional reserve banking...

Be advise that they still needs to fix all security that can help or prevent any scam to their client or members.If they want to be stable that money of all players are totally safe while playing this. Sometimes this is worrisome issue. Is there any ways that this can be improved for the sakes of all players? Is there any way to be more secured?

in my opinion, that is exactly what they do once they got hold of your money: make it hard to cash out and tons of excuses,
while they spend your btc or invest in whatever HYIP schemes; often, that indicates possible insolvency;
when there's no transparency about where exactly is your money at this point and time, there's no accountability;
also, as they say - you must gamble only for the money that you are ready to lose [most likely you lose];

i don't have a problem with these things, i know the game i'm playing; but for naive people, just think before you leap!

Stop spamming false accusations. It is ridiculous. What is your goal by doing this ? Trying to be smarter ? No, you are stupid.  I recently (last week) cashed out some btcs and it was processed in less than 24h + there are a lot of highstakes players at swcpoker who deal with huge amounts of money since years and they are still here.

In no way am I defending Seals - in fact, I am very disappointed with SwC behavior over the past several months - but - I think it's safe to assume most posts made by users with Jetwin signature are made because Jetwin is paying them to spam.

Same goes for newbie accounts making similar thoughtless replies.

This guy, for example:

This is what I worry about when depositing my bticoin onto 3rd party websites. Are they going to turn around and invest my BTC into something else? Just like fractional reserve banking...

Has at least 9 other accounts getting paid for making a minimum of 15 posts (per week?)

You're an idiot to fall for spam put out by paid accounts lol.

You're an idiot for notn recognizing veganhipie as someone who has played as many mid-high stakes hands on the site in the last two years without issue as anyone (whether you want to use his service is up to you.

You're an idiot for your consiracy threories that they're holding your BTC "to invest or spend".  All you have to do is look at the lobby to see how many players are sitting w 1 BTC buy-ins on the table.  All you have to do is read every ANY cashout post, as they all note that they receive their money within hours. EVERYBODY is getting paid within hours and your logic is that they're trying to invest the BTC?  What could they possibly invest it in that's more profitable than BTC?  Pretty much everything you've posted has been exactly the opposite of correct.  It is hard to be this dumb.  No wonder you can't spin it up to 20 chips (have you ever just thought of doing that so you could cash out?).

Keep spamming the thread every day about the cashout limit though  . .  . you might think you're doing your "cause" some good.  You are actually doing the opposite.  Beeeliiieeevveee me

I will offer cashouts from swcpoker if you have less than 20 chips for a 1% fee (plus my transaction fees, your choice whether i use high or low), PM me (PM is better as I get notification) or just post here in the thread how much you send me.

My screen name is "veganhippie"

too bad i've never even heard about you or seen on SWC, neither in chat nor played you on tables;
you can see how there's a trust issue!

Go ahead and ask anyone, I have played more hands than anyone on the site. Ask people in chat if they've seen me. My reputation is solid. Let me know, PM me if you want the cashout.

I'm 100 percent sure Winbig is Veganhippie. Very cool guy, and totally trustworthy. I've done many trades with him over the years for big money before meeting and hanging  out with him when he visited Vegas. I just read that article about him and that girl. That's pretty sad stuff he got in trouble but I bet he thought she was 19. I don't think he's like a sexual predator, just a guy looking for some action and should have been more careful to ask for ID.
