Sure, but I'd rather have more positive trust instead. That's more important to me  Wink

For real, though, I'm not expecting anything. Just glad we could help, but the work is not done. I will be building the new chain tomorrow to have plenty of time to test staking prior to the swap at block 16,000

ok sent 10,000 ecoin to that address. Make sure you get it before block 16k or that greedy/scammer dev will end up with it Wink

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

After the efforts put in by Spots and ocminer to get the chain online again, miners were onto this like flies when there was a sniff of money to be made. Instead of just sacrificing a bit for the sake of keeping difficulty low for a smooth transition they jumped on it. It is therefore not far fetched to assume that human nature will prevail again and that once there is nothing to devour they will leave like a swarm of flies when the rewards stop at block 7,000. This means that there is a possibility that the difficulty will have to be nursed down again from 30m to 1m from block 7.001. Unless the swarm of flies has a bit of decency and leave gradually so that the difficulty can lower gradually as they go.

Well thats just it, after block 7,000 we WANT the difficulty to fall back down and apply just enough hash to move the chain. The big greedy renters will be gone, and we will do what we need to to get to block 16k.

Its 9000 blocks at zero reward. there will be no big miners. Theoretically it will take roughly 6 days to get past the pow before pos starts.

Well it's either that or people lose their coins because they aren't paying attention close enough. We chose to give people a little more time

I agree this was the best route chosen. The point I was trying to make was that I hope that the big miners will leave gradually and not suddenly, so that diff can go low for the remaining 9,000 blocks and the chain can tick over with very little hash. if they leave suddenly a plan will first have to be made to get the diff low again else the chain will be stuck due to high diff.

This is important:

In essence, substance over form, your whole emoney balance has been entrusted to him and he could have 1) screwed the community, 2) raised his middle fingers when approached to look at the code, but he didn't. Then everyone would have lost their emoney. Everyone should leave Spots positive trust.

So the price going lower and lower?

Now that the blockchain is moving again, it's tempting to dump. Especially for those who rented rigs and bought nicehash. Understandable, they want to ROI. I was tempted myself when I first moved all my coins to bittrex. But I want to taste some of the stake, 1st. So I will leave alone. Especially, if this coin's staking is going to be revved up. Faster staking will mean a better return.

@ IGotSpots
When did you start POS?

POS will only start technically at block 16001 or practically 16002.
