So the POW to POS stake switch is happening at block 6000 according to the post above.  I see on the block explorer posted that it is on 3773 or am I reading something wrong?

May I suggest that you destroy some of the premine to have same percentage as before.

That's not what you should be worried about.

1,337,400 coins still to be mined and dumped before the fork at block 6,000

current block 3,771 .... 2,229 blocks to go @ 600 coins per block.......................................................

2 more days to get dumped on!???

This is what you get when you let a MINER do your soft Fork.

They make BTC mining so, they wanted another 1.2 million coins to dump on US. This Dev is P@SSING me off, daily.

1. Day 1=  Made a Mistake (staking)
2. Day 2 = Made a Mistake (block rewards)
3. Day 3 = Another Poor decision ....(Let a miner handle the Fork)

Yet, you think you can create a currency used by the free world?

This will be dead in 1 month. Tops.

you guys now whining about 1.2m coins still to be mined are ridiculous. When this coin was announced the POW supply was expected to be around 4m, this is exactly what is happening now. The 2.5m were pure speculation. So what are you crying about?

I agree, total pow coins will be pretty much the same as posted originally, plus, it's 50% of total pow blocks so I don't see what the fuss is about.
Better mine some while you still can Wink

When you see really bad FUD, that is actually a good sign of value and demand. If nobody cared they would not be complaining trying to manipulate the price. I bought it and I mined it, not complaining at all. Definitely worth the risk.

Alright the code is ready to soft fork at block 6000, POW will stop on that block and the POS difficulty will be reduced from .006

Please update your wallets.  This is very important for pools and Bittrex, so i will e-mail to them now.

Once the 8% daily staking begins it will be fierce at first, as you all have such coin weight.  Please remember to build coin age so we can get the first POS block, then the difficulty will go down when it is found.

We will leave this for 21 days of inflation staking period before forking again to 8% annually.

I will update the main post with new download links soon, but you can download the Windows wallet and source here:

https://github.com/emoneydev/emoney/commit/1efe67917cd06022e5f5642b54f59a0bab2447c9

emoney-qt(2).zip 8.3 MB

edit post::: Only problem now is premine is massive, maybe much more than 1% soon.

Why do you need to extend its period of devaluation for 21 days?

Now, when its forked with the pow stage to be over in 2 days (approximately 1137 blocks are being mined on daily basis) this doesn't mean that the market wouldn't be overrun by tons of coins, and the price then would give a fall to undue concern because everyone would sell minted coins at inflated prices.

Why wouldn't you hardfork it to appropriate 8% annually rather than again bring discredit to the niche this coin holds? When the staking commences you'd have disproportionate amount of coins with which to distort the market price.

Just wondering whats going on with exchanges... A coin cannot devalue unless its listed on an exchange.

OK see that e-Money has purpose but i think the launch is a little rushed.
