You want to threaten me with market?  I can talk in red too you know, or i could just close thread.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

"Alright the code is ready to soft fork at block 6000, POW will stop on that block and the POS difficulty will be reduced from .006

Please update your wallets.  This is very important for pools and Bittrex, so i will e-mail to them now.

Once the 8% daily staking begins it will be fierce at first, as you all have such coin weight.  Please remember to build coin age so we can get the first POS block, then the difficulty will go down when it is found.

We will leave this for 21 days of inflation staking period before forking again to 8% annually.

I will update the main post with new download links soon, but you can download the Windows wallet and source here:

https://github.com/emoneydev/emoney/commit/1efe67917cd06022e5f5642b54f59a0bab2447c9

edit post::: Only problem now is premine is massive, maybe much more than 1% soon."

Not a problem since OCminer holds the premine and that is more incentive for development, and nobody is worried about Altcointips here.

That is a Darkcoin clone, which makes no sense as you don't have the network. Pretty much pointless without the thousands of Masternodes that Darkcoin already has. Taking the same name is also terrible.

Not blaming you at all, "ECASH" actually is good branding, and I agree the other coin stole the idea, along with trying to clone Darkcoin without much success.

Is the price better if you'll rent a rig and mine than to buy?

Right now slightly better than mining Bitcoin if you own a rig, not sure about renting one. Either way really, mine or set some orders, nice and cheap.

I never tried renting a rig. But at this moment Westhash is charging .0112 BTC per GH if you want a fixed order, and as low as .0105 BTC if you want to compete in bidding. There is also a 2% fee to take into consideration. It appears bitcoin mining right now yields about .0108 per GH. Per ipoMiner, at this moment, E-Cash yields about .02575 BTC per GH. But that fluctuates wildly.

So, I'm just trying to ensure I'm correctly set up for staking, as I've never staked a QT wallet before.

I downloaded the new link that some of you provided in the latter part of this thread. I opened the new exe, closed the program (wouldn't let me replace wallet.dat w/ it open), then replaced the wallet.dat and have now unlocked wallet for staking.

Am I good to go?

Thanks..

should the old wallet.dat be replaced? I didn't replace mine, downloaded the new link and opened it.. Sorry, I'm also new to this.
