oh wow does it happen with bigger amounts too? keep me updated on whether i should stay away for a while if this problem will not be solved soon

Study the ShapeShift fee structure. We are getting the exchange rate from ShapeShift API, there is nothing we can do. But their fees are very clear and it is the miners fee only. So as less as you deposit the bigger is the impact due to the miners fee. For larger amounts you might not even take notice of the miners fee.

The shown approximation of their conversion is simply misleading.

Is is not misleading, it is simply how it is. There are miner fees for almost all cryptocurrencies and you have to take this into consideration. On the other side you are free to exchange your alts at various exchanges and deposit bitcoin with us.

<- My trust rating is a joke, due to the poor and worthless implementation of trust ratings at bitcointalk.org

I wanted to deposit the altcoin Dash and your interface told me I would get about 57k satoshi for 0.05 Dash.

But after I send the coins I got only 47k satoshi and this is already the second time I tried this.

Can anyone explain this?

Here you'll find some information on the ShapeShift fee structure: https://shapeshift.io/about

We are crediting whatever ShapeShift is sending us.

Ok, so ShapeShift reduces the amount by a constant fee for the receiving currency.

Maybe you could place a hint for altcoin deposits that ShapeShift takes extra fees.

oh wow does it happen with bigger amounts too? keep me updated on whether i should stay away for a while if this problem will not be solved soon

It only affects altcoin deposits and as stated above the fees are constant, so bigger amounts will have the same fee.

I simply didn't know that DaDice uses ShapeShift and was therefore confused by the reduction...sorry for the inconvenience  Wink

I Somehow missed this. That is right the dead line for the predictions was over some time ago. You are to late this time but keep an eye out because this prediction period is not far from ending and you will get your chance Smiley

AFAIK, the fees is small. The extra part comes from the difference between lowest ask and highest bid.
So, if you got Bitcoin, prefer to use that. And avoid recurring depositing and withdrawing to reduce the effect of ask-bid spread.

I think it is not dadice that add that. They use shapeshift.io for altcoin and ethereum was added by shapeshift.io so every gamble site that use shapeshift.io will have ethereum options too

Hope you are on a profit.
I'd say withdraw part of your profits (and deposit) when you are up a reasonable level, so that you don't lose all your funds once you have a bad streak.

Sorry for your loss. Sad
Great job with the rain tho.

Thanks for the kind words man, yeah I'm not really in profit though, like 0.04 loss when I ended, that too because I had saved it up to buy something up on ebay.
BTW I heard that there is a 10btc reward for whoever clears the milestone board, can dadice make it official if it is true, cause now I have only 6 more milestones to clear up.

Yeah, remember the priority of every speculation/investment/gamble is get the deposit first, and then try to make money using the profit, that's the best way to earn money, and safest way, so sometimes I withdrew when I had much money, like last Wimbledon, I deposited 3.3btc and finally I withdrew 8.2btc in the end, I didn't bet any money after semi-final, I know those money is very risky to earn, although I was pretty sure that Djokovic will be the champion, I still didn't bet on djokovic in the final.

This happening very fast. If 9 million for 1 day so it will only need 8 or 9 days to get 750 millions roll. So Is the daily wagered data done yet? It is a simple API , not sure why it is not done yet. I also see the galaxy star at stats.dadice.com what is the purposes of that and is the name of that galaxy star comes randomly?
