Is it possible that there indeed is(will be) dadice 2.0 and that current unavailability is only due to transitional period ? I see that many people are happy the
site is unavailable, so that they could say how they were right about them, but since there should be new owner,i don't see why he would just close down the site, it makes no sense..

dadice was made to make money for the owner.... it wasnt provably fair.... i figured out it was skipping bets... and the admin doesnt care about this fact.. he said its a feature.... so YES its confirmed scam...
and we can prove it....

and yes a scam is made for stealing money

and yes we are happy its offline finally

I red about that "feature" in discussion long time ago, and it surprised me there were still investors that invested money in it.
Players, on the other side, were not as loyal i guess, because every time i visited the site, there were mostly dust bets from faucet farmers.
How much player funds was left on the site at the time of the closure, anyone ?

There was a scam accusation opened several months ago when someone lost a significant portion of their bankroll after DaDice allowed a larger sizes bet then what they implied they would. Afaik the investors were not reimbursed for this bet.

The last time I read this post there were actually lot or controversy over investing in this website as pointing out they were going to scam you for investing and surprisingly back then everyone roasted that guy for saying such stuff as "you're not forced to invest " after a month I'm seeing this that actually never reimbursed the investor .History repeats itself .

I can't recall the name of that site now, but they took it offline and offered it for sale citing Russian crypto regulations that made their business illegal. (Sounds plausible after being busted for cheating, right?) Does anyone remember the name of that site? The similarities between DaDice and that other one are worth noting.

Give it a few months and we'll probably have another new and exciting dice site being announced with a super legit investment option!

DiceBitco.in... that's the one. I'm not talking about the design aesthetics though, it seems more similar to me in the way they've been caught cheating, skipping winning nonces or bets and such. You're probably right that it's more likely they are not the same people than they are. The attempt at stealth in the fraud is what strikes me as similar. This is distinctly different from the only other dice scam I am familiar with (EveryDice) in which the owner just bolted with the coins after someone won huge (think it was around 300 btc) while claiming that the site's 'largest private investor' was accusing the dice player of cheating somehow, and they wouldn't be paying out until they could "investigate." Then poof go the coins.
