since nobody knows who was the admin of dadice it doesnt make sense to prove the same guy is running bitsler...

So how could you say that bitsler is dadice 2.0? Most of dice sites has similar layout, but it does not mean they are the same.

Indeed, as far as I know, there are a handful of "dicing scripts" that get sold around to people who want to be the "next big thing in dicing".  From what I can tell, people ought to take an example from the California gold rush of the mid 1800's,  A few people who were there first made a whole lotta money.  Then masses of people came west with "get rich!" ideas in their heads.  Of those people, almost no one made any money, with one exception: the people selling picks and shovels and buckets and supplies.

Anyway, my real point here is that whoever is selling the dicing scripts (which, yes, tend to look the same because they're probably originally forks of the same source) is the only one making any money at this point from dicing (with the obvious exception of the few who were there first).

That's the story of bitcoin too. Mining is a matching word then. Though the last time a goldmine was found was when the first asics were produced and shipped. Or kept and paid out divs like asicminer did.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

This site was pretty much undoubtedly a scam, although they denied as much for months until they shut down several months ago (late last year IIRC).

Says the guy with a -15 trust rating and a "trade with extreme caution" tag under his name who pretty much spent months trolling these guys incessantly.  In fact, IIRC, they never scammed anyone but had to deal with mountains of trolls who said they were gonna do so simply because they honored their investors' privacy.

Dont mean to argue too much, but i gotta say that, from what i was reading up on dadice, that they were given an option to show their bankroll with no
attack on investor privacy (if im not mistaken, dooglas was  the one suggesting it). The suspicion of insolvency with no evidence otherwise is enough to avoid the
site for most people. At the least, investments on such sites should not be encouraged.

Yeah you can ignore those people completely. The fact that they did something to get negative feedback shows what kind of individuals they are.

I think you're correct that several people stepped in to say "okay, you only have to show it to me, not to everyone" and that they still refused.  It's crucial to note, however, that dooglus and Stunna (the people who offered to help validate their bankroll) are competitors.  You could argue that they had every right to say, no, i'm not going to show all of my funding sources to my biggest competitors in order to convince them to vouch for me.  My point here was that when QS says the site was a scam that I want to point out that I'm not aware of a single scam they've perpetrated.  They did suffer from low public image after not working with the competition to validate their funding, but that's a long way from "is a scam".

Indeed.

You have a point there when you say that its the competitors that were the loudest group when it got to accusations.
The only thing that concerned me personally in the whole fight was that there were other dice sites that went through similar path before running off, but still, you're right - it's long way from being a scam.

You are trying to make light of the situation with ad hominem attacks, which is a good example as to how much of a troll you are.

If anyone is considering that they would not reveal their cold wallet address(es) because of "investor privacy" then you should consider the fact that the cold wallets would be exposed every time that a player were to win a large amount of bitcoin because DaDice would have had to pay out from the address(es) that were holding the bankroll. This also ignores how easy it is to obfuscate the source of bitcoins.

If anyone wants to believe that no one has ever been scammed by DaDice then I would suggest reading this thread as Leen93 was scammed as an investor of DaDice, at a time when they were claiming to not have the option for the public to invest.

If anyone wants more information as to why you should avoid sites like DaDice, then I would suggest reading this thread, among one or two others that are floating around somewhere.

Either way DaDice is long gone and the people behind it have abandoned their project

But apparently you're not done trolling here, are you?

Anyone who doesn't think that Quickseller has a long history of trolling just-dice with unsubstantiated attacks using many alts only has to look back in this very thread.

This is just not true. They claimed to hold more than 90% of invested coins themselves so they could easily prove that 90% of coins without disclosing anything about the "investors".

Anyway, personally not interested to discuss this site again since every argument has been pretty much written already and they are gone so no point in discussing.
