One other thought - for players who registered since 3/2 or were part of the free VIP+ upgrade program, I updated my survey of players with new additions around 3/23. I can provide the listing to Anarchist. It's pretty sparse, but it does indicate who had a VIP+ (and one VIP) upgrade from recent registrants, as well as a snapshot of DP/gold (unbanked). It's not much but better than nothing for any of them who want to get back into the game.

More and more bad news, apparently the 16GB backup for the DKV2 code I created in february is corrupted, trying to find another copy but it isn't looking good. I do have copies of DKV1 apparently..
Having them create a new server for me to be compatible with my database backup, will see what all I have when its ready.

It seems like you need 10 copies and update it every month on different devices |

Well, my database backups have failed. It seems my backup system wasn't able to make copies of the entire database and cut out in the T tables so now the only thing I can do for the game is refund users who have deposited in the last few months.
I was able to recover the deposit records up until March 2, 2017 and will start adding everything up soon to see what is owed. Any deposits made after March 2, 2017 will have to be claimed in the CD forums when they are back up. More info on the claim process will come when that is ready.
This truly sucks, 2 years of working on it and now nothing. I really am sorry guys.
In a good news sort of way, I was able to get an older copy of the database website partially running so I do expect for that to be running in a week or so if possible.

Well that is really just too bad :-(
I guess all good things have to come to an end, but I had hoped for bigger and better things for DKV before that. Best wishes with the wrap-up - and whatever you find to put your mind to as your next project.

Dragon Knights of Valeria has been closed due to a loss of data. I have tried my best to restore it but my backups were not complete. A lot of the data was recovered but certain vital tables were lost. I was able to restore an older version of Crypto Database though. Accounts created past the restore point will have to register again. Exchange, Deposit, and other information for DKV was recovered but the users and vault tables were not. I have compiled a list of deposits to the game since February 1, 2017 and these will be returned to the senders once a withdrawal address has been provided. I tried my best to get DKV back online but was unable to. I am truly sorry this happened and will do my best to make things right. I don't have a FaucetHub account unfortunately and I'm not sure if electrum will allow me to send a 1k sat transaction. If you would like to choose another coin to convert the 1k sats into this would be possible. |

I was really looking forward to some point in the future where I would have time to be active and go after EnderWiggin & DragonLord for there unprovoked atrocious war crimes against my villages. Not the first time you was screwed over like this either. Seems to bring back memories or having to rush 2.0 out because of something similar. Seems like some hosts just don't have there shit together  Feel free to write off anything I had, MagicMageMan (222) Only had I think 5 DPS and nothing more then spare change in cryptos. (free users could still pile up gains after a while, had over a million dp just from villages in just the last couple months I believe) Dragon Knights of Valeria will be missed. |

I'll probably come out with a new game before long that is based on something Valerian, I already have an idea in mind and a little of it has been worked out. It probably won't be any time soon though as I have the refund stuff to deal with as well as a few projects I'm working on for others. When/If I do come out with a new game there will most likely be bonuses given to old DKV players and DPS holders. What they are will be determined later if the game takes shape. For your balances, are you sure? |

On another note, regarding whatever planned game you have for the future, might I suggest allowing withdrawals only after a player reaches a specified level?
