I requested to sell one of the first batch Asik  Undecided Undecided He took charge and promised that he will come in 3-5 days  .. and forgot to  me....... Cry Cry  I reminded myself,,, I was told to wait until August......

I want to thank the owner of Skype   sfardsservice !!! thank you so much for what I got in the first batch !!!thank you for what you have given a lot of empty promises about delivery to my warehouse in 3-5 days.......

Huge please !!!!! coin return as soon as possible ....I got tired of waiting, getting empty promises.....

Hi
Could you be more specific about your order?
I am afraid we don’t have any order paid via BTC in the first batch. And also checked our Skype contacts still didn’t find your name.
Who you are talking with and where did you place your order?
Since there are lots of people are cheating by using our name. I'm worried you might get cheated by a faker. Please contact us and we will help you to find it out ASAP.
Skype: sfardsservice
Email: info@sfards.com

Please Be Careful
We only have one official SFARDS Skype account sfardsservice. If there is any other similar account such as sfardsservice [ASIC market] contacting you. Don’t listen to them and please double check the account you have talk with and make sure you add the right one.

1999 why bother.

I will tell you why some people will pay that.

I can tell you if it can mine at the claimed power numbers you will still need six or seven cent power and under 1200 shipped to stand a chance to get your money back.

When grid seed blades came out people on site said wait I did wait and paid way under 3000 a machine.

I still lost money with them!

Can you offer any insight as to when you may have more stock of your units, and if pricing is going to remain firm for the time being ?

Is it your intention to not court the hobbyist miner market altogether, given your current unpalatable, premium pricing ?

I assume, the first batch just go to the mass buyers and minimum buying # was 100 units. So we should wait and yes that's too much for that product. I am just waiting. If they wanna sell to us should make some discount on it. If I am not able to get what I paid for, I see no point for taking the risk of mining.

Great to see who bought them, what a joke, the price was already stupid and now it is full on ridiculous, just let zoom sit on them and hopefully no one buys one and they lose money.
They crazy LOL
cheaper to get from ali express even after duty tax

They probably don't care though about it, zoom is probably hashing at a super cheap price while they wait for sales. Definitely expect scrypt hashrate to increase a lot.
with LTC halving will be needed lol
but with so many coins that should affect prices that much not with this pricing

This thread is dying! The community really seems to be shunning this miner. Lol.

well lets see I finally can get one for 1999.

 Of course for 1999 I can get 20 s-3 with psu's .

that is about 9th to 10th  instead of 1.7th.  I know I need cheap power if I get s-3's but in order for me to ever pay off this dual miner at a price of 1999 I need cheap power.

So lets see  10th at 6 cent power  or 1.7th at 6 cent power.   both cost 2k  what do you think stands a chance of paying back.

I know I would take the s-3's

It's a shame to see it at that price.  I honestly want one and am willing to pay a fair price.   But 2k is just insane.

I'm hoping once they get into more production we will see direct sales for cheaper.   Zoomhash will sell them I'm willing to bet sadly at this jacked up price to a few people.   Sad to see it go that way.

I haven't seen 100$ s3 and psu combo to be fair, mind pointing me in that direction just to see it? That seems like a great price.

I purchased  s-3's for 80 to 85 a few times.   and the

1200 watt runs 3 s-3's

http://www.gigampz.com/store/p21/Gigampz_80Plus_Platinum_Efficiency%2C_1200_Watt_Kit.html

so to be fair 3 x 80 = 240 + 113 = 353   say 360  for a 3 machine setup.

that would mean   17  s-3's  not 20   but if you overclock them to 480gh    17 x 480 =  8.16 th

So my 9th to 10th was a bit high

  soooooo:

lets make it 8th for 2k  vs  1.7th for 2k

I was even thinking at $1200 as I have a PSU sitting here perfect for it.   I just wanted to mine scrypt again.   That is kinda my go wild and know good chance I did it for fun and not ROI.

I just miss scrypt mining so it has a draw to me.   I started in the GPU day's so that is a lot of the draw.  The zoomhash of $2000 is just price gauging the few crazy enough to pay it.

Someone posted this on bitcointalk (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1134060.0), I have never heard of them before and it looks like they haven't been around that long from the twitter account.

I also do not see any good company info

They claim to be selling sfards miners http://www.itop-corp.com/

Looks fishy to me

I suspect not to be real they show stock: Units in Stock:100

If they had some I don't see that site having backing for 100 units.   Were talking around 100k usd or more... i don't see it.   Also  the site is weird as far as variety of items.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. You're right that 100 items was incorrect and you're right about the Twitter and website being quite new. We started on Taobao and Alibaba then later eBay and have had a lot of growth in the past few years so have decided to test the water in the rest of the world. We're starting up independently where we have more control of our products and services and more direct dealings with our customers to offer a more complete service. Case in point - The Silverfish miners had a problem when the authentication server went down. Through Taobao/eBay, there wasn't much we could do (they like to stop sellers and buyers from communicating directly) and we had to put a message into the store page to our customers and hope they got it to let them know about an updated firmware.

Going independent allows us to communicate directly with customers and avoid these problems going forwards.

The Sfards miner: http://www.itopshop.net/sfards-28nm-sha256-and-scrypt-dual-miner-p-243.html (we have 2 with more coming very soon)

The stock levels on the website aren't all correct right now as we only have a small team transferring everything from Taobao and Alibaba to the new website but if it's on the site you can at least know that it's in stock. We're working hard to get everything up to date and added. You'll see our product catalog grow as we get more things online.

Here's the recent thread I started to introduce the company: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1134060

If you notice any other problems or have any questions then please feel free to contact me by PM here or email (see my profile). As I said before, we're committed to excellent customer service and we have a proven record on Taobao, Alibaba and eBay. It'll take some time to get that reputation after a fresh start so of course we'll be trying even harder.

you  are new people are tired of new guys coming here and trying to rob people.  Myself and a few others are trusted and don't rip people off .

If you want to proof yourself send one to me and when I get it I will pay you.  Now I know you are UK based. and do not expect you to send one to me. But find a trusted UK guy we know and send him one  trust him and he can say you did that.

Other then doing something like that people will just not want to buy from you.

Stop giving the guy a hard time. He is NOT a manufacturer but clearly a reseller. If anyone thinks they are a scam, simply do not buy from them, period. I am sure their prices will put off a lot of people, as the very same rigs can be got from the manufacturers cheaper (albeit subject to taxes).
But honestly, would any "respected" member of this forum asking for a rig to be sent before paying actually pay for it if it were sent (at their prices)? The answer will be a convoluted one, arguing price point, shipping et al and ending with NO. So why do you ask if you know you can not (and will not) pay for it? Cut the guy some slack.

If I recall he refuses escrow. My thoughts are new person refuses escrow and wants btc payment is asking to be reamed and asked to prove he or she is real.

Who is real and who is not? That they respond to posts, the same way you do, is enough proof they are real (in the confines of this forum). In any case, they must have a reason to refuse escrow (if indeed they've refused it), and though that may be a warning sign, it may just as well be an innocent oversight or indeed a business decision on their part, but that does not make them a scam (though they could be).
