Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I've seen a recent post on auction sub, but even his author had doubts about where to post, as it's not an auction. |

Hmm, is a 'reverse auction' allowed? Exact same rules as a normal auction except sellers go downward in price rather than buyers going upward. |

Dividends are almost certain to be higher next week, we already have 125BTC in the mining address(total from last weeks mining was 329BTC. Difficulty doesn't adjust till the 30th and the cubes are just being sold. So I dont see how dividends could not be higher next week. Seems to be the perfect time to buy.

i have to add in canary's auction cubes are sold out within day. not bad  requote from spec thread btw CUBEs are sold out  SOLD OUT.
I assume that Canary had 100 CUBEs in this group buy, sold out in 24hours. |

Difficulty will go up no later than the 28th but yes, it won't really affect the next dividend. |

Yes, blocks need to mature before they are spent, and those were not mature enough to spend by the time of dividends. |
