Hope springs eternal but the cat remains elusive.
...Meanwhile the share value continues to slowly evaporate into thin air.

Yeah, it's pretty nerve wracking. I wonder if we'll go through all of July like this.

Buy low, sell high? The problem is I really can't see how the price can go high again with a marketplace which is only moved with dividends.
You have to ask yourself the question does ASICMINER have the luxury of paying out a dividend? Do you think bitfury or peernova will be paying out a dividends?

whta's the wrong with the share price, 0.165 BTC/share Don't think it's that crazy, Remember when the shareprice was 4.5 BTCfriedcat would have to have paid out more than a billion $ at todays rate to ensure everyone got back 100% in divs

In my opinion this doesn't justify a share price of 0.165 at all. Bear in mind 0.20 per share still amounts to around 50 million dollars, not totally sure where FC and co would conjure that from considering the way gen3 has been sold.. Even if they did have that laying about it would make more sense to fund a gen4 product.

They need to actually get mining farms up and running. Selling chips was never going to be the money maker. If you can get chips at cost and you are one of the biggest producers of chips then you would be better off mining. There are just scaling issues that make this a bumpy road.

Do you have some information about this that nobody else does? We all have the information that gen3 has been sold, every bit of it -_-! you are a bit late to the party. Now the problem is when the party ended, there were still no dividends.

Shareholders questions were submitted to Friedcat. Thank you all for taking the time to participate in this round of shareholders questions. ... 3) How many PH/s of gen 3 have already been sold/shipped by now ?
4) Has the "60 PH/s batch" progressed any further ? When is it supposed to be completely done ? How much has already been sold ? ...
So we're not waiting for answers to question number 3 & 4 then?

I voiced my interest in hosting franchise mining at my shop. No reply yet.
Either they have all the people they need, already involved in franchise mining (doubtful) Or, they really aren't very interested in it.

A few more big sell-offs in AM1 and we will be at a place in time where very little in BTC is required to join the board of directors, relatively speaking. I have to assume that if the price falls all the way back down to IPO levels we will see FC make an appearance once more. Having your company lose another 50% of its value tends to motivate peoples interests.
Regardless, July 20th is the 1.5 months FC envisioned it may take to sell out the current batch of chips. Unless AM is going for another batch, we should be seeing an announcement shortly. If AM is doing another batch starting in August then we are likely looking at a dividend in the Fall at some point.

Im sure FC is not a single bit worried about market valuation of AM1, look at this address, https://blockchain.info/address/115tTroRo3B9ZDQ6ATJGDCHcNEVbjJoZnF at least half of that is owned by AM, why on earth one anonymous ultra capitalized company would want to satisfy all the bagholders here?

hh, saw 0.165 on Havelock, my first reaction "what happened?", going to forum and ... nothing as usual Can't expect people to hold onto shares when there are no Divs, and the most recent batch of questions haven't been answered. Expect the price to continue to crash until FC answers the questions or pays the dividends. I'm not trying to come off as impatient as I haven't sold any shares, just stating sentiment in the thread at the moment.

Well, here's to hoping that FC pays a lump div for AM3 sales to those of us holding some shares. Then when the lemmings come out from under their rocks then can whine and moan about no divs.
