It looks dire but not all is lost (...) Moving forward I expect a feasibility analysis of various options, e.g.:
Option A: Run the Social Network on Ethereum/IPFS // low risk
This. I hope the Synereo team will seriously take this route into consideration.

Perhaps consider offering anonymint a large reward or even a paid consultancy position to aid this project. He has been right about almost all designs he has reviewed so far. I hear he is working on something similar. But since amp has the funds perhaps he could help if you gave him a reason too. Perhaps nice % of amps could help. Who else do they have in mind if greg did leave the project?

I just created another thread here with this opening post:
Synereo, RChain, Ethereum
"Thought it would be good to get another thread on this current situation with Synereo, who are having some disputes about the nature of their technology and it's readiness. The problem seems to be that RChain is currently not functional. Not sure if this is rushing the timeline, or even why something like Ethereum would not work. What would Rchain have that Ethereum does not?"

Quoting Gregg from Slack ------------------------------------------- So, here's the roadmap: with a negotiated settlement that basically matches the budget i've laid out, together with a governance structure for Synereo, there are negotiations for a 7 - 8 figure additional investment
[9:41] This gets us to the finish line for delivering the tech in a reasonable time frame

#2 anonymint would be a great choice.

Hope this project will rise n shine again! Face of young Hitler standing up in slowly rolling Studebaker with this citation in place will preserve the relevance of a message. How havent you failed? Being unconsciously delusional in assessing the validity of a system or ecosystem you invested in provokes posts like you saw above: newbies blame coin associates for not delivering the expected functionality. You wont get pumped only because of RCHAIN. You simply wont. Its so fucking bogus that Im running away with my knees hitting potbelly.

I am with you on that. Dont get it, so much money invested for what? To get rekt? Still I dont believe the project is lost but it needs a lot of time to recover this BS. I am quite annoyed that I lost a great deal on what was basically a sure thing. There are a couple key problems I noticed. After the sale, they cut back on marketing right away, huge mistake! After that, I am mostly seeing some ego problems and people that think they understand more about crypto markets and what traders want than they really do. It is also pretty much unprecedented for one of the founders to attack the other in public, how does that help anything? I would have advised against that, and I would have sold much earlier if I thought that level of foolishness was even possible by intelligent people! It also might not be the smartest idea to ask for more money for funding when the price has crashed and investors are pissed. Synereo lasted years on 120k, and they can't last with 4.7 million USD? Nonsense, that is bullshit and everyone that has been working in crypto knows it, we are not fools. Plenty are willing to be paid in AMPs and even hold for the future. I can't see how this team can stay together as they were, and I would not invest a satoshi with a founder that is foolish enough to FUD his own project in public in order to preserve his reputation, which actually harms it. Not to mention the absurd delusion of thinking the investments were all about him, and not the entire team, the amplifiers, and idea itself.

Bullshit like this make me lose faith in cryptocurrency and wonders, crytocurrency is trust with and by the people. So why trust the people when they can be in the same category as the banks or centralized systems. Stupid right ?

Exactly. Greg is full of shit. Fuck Greg. Don't give the rat bastard any money. Cut off Ed's funding for LIvelyGig too. "LivelyGig" what a stupid name anyway. Ed took our money and betrayed us too. AMP holders and Synereo LTD equity investor's money should be spent on ACTUALLY building a decentralized social network and maximizing our returns, not on other peoples' bullshit especially when they declare that they have ZERO interest in our financial well-being. I'm certainly glad that Dor already knows this and will do everything in his power to cut Greg out. What the hell is Greg going to do? Throw another bitch fit for three and a half hours? I certainly won't be watching it, and I hope Dor never holds another conversation with the sack of shit again.

Have you ever paid $$$$ for something and received another thing? If the company was unable to deliver what they announced, you have the right to a refund.
If the original purpose of the 2nd fundraising will not be delivered, as per documentation provided, all those investors should have the right to a refund.
I myself have claimed numerous times that a drop in price is no reason for a refund. This is market risk. However, if the original purpose will (unfortunately) not be aimed from start, this is time to think about giving those resources back to people who trusted that project, which is no longer on the table.
Why don't you go ask Greg for refund since it is Greg who clearly wanted to leave Synereo and doesn't want AMP holders to be the main beneficiaries of his vaporware RChain, but wants us all to fund his ass. Why don't you broach the subject with him the next time he states that "AMPs will be one of many different currencies on RChain". He's having one of his goddamn Hangout sessions with his druggie buddy and his other bitches this coming Sunday at 9:30AM PST. Go ask the lying sack of shit. I want to see what type of bullshit response he gives you. Because I did not fund Greg! Impossible! It was Synereo. Greg doesn't even have the ability to withdraw those bitcoins (and I am not saying he should!) It was and has always been Synereo who promised and got funded, as per documentation provided. All those investors should have the right to a refund if the purpose is no longer to be aimed, regardless of whose fault it is. Even today Greg declares that he's a "co-founder" with Dor, and admits that he wanted to raise money via BTTF and by selling AMPs to fund his RChain project. Now that the money has been raised, he starts another separate hangout session and slack channel, declares for three and a half hours that he can't work with anyone on the team, and is now trying to blackmail all of us to fund his project which he admits that he doesn't want AMP holders to have any exclusivity in for any amount of time and doesn't want us to be the main beneficiaries. Who the goddamn hell does he think he is? Just because one of the founders has a mental breakdown live on air and decides he want to betray all of his supporters doesn't mean that the other members of the organization can't deliver. If you watch the video where Greg undergoes mental collapse, you'll realize that he has ZERO support from the devs and everyone is just trying to walk on eggshells around him. Greg is out now. You heard from Dor himself that there will be a new CTO. Synereo will continue and flourish especially now that it has 4.7M in funding. Greg is the one that caused all this, and Greg is the one who should personally reimburse investors, because he is the one backing out of his responsibilities and promises to all of us.

What a bloody mess. Really a disappointment for a project with so much potential. I think part of the fear in the market is related to this unusual model of distribution. That's crypto, centralization does not fit here. Whose idea was the multiple ICOs?
