I was one of them. But I traded myself out of loses with other coins and even made profits. Of course, I was a bit angry with the AMP price crash. But I liked the project before I lost money and I liked it after I lost money. At least now we have a concrete view of what they will bring out and I think this can be huge. Social media projects are very profitable. Look at Steemit's surge or Reddcoin. Don't underestimate AMP.

I am quite involved in Social Media so this is very interesting to me. I really like the idea of jumpstarting the Network effect by using existing systems rather than trying to just make one unconnected and building the network effect slowly. If I understand it right Synereo could be huge.

Looking at the videos, can links be shared from basically anywhere as it is a browser extension? ie: Could I select a Facebook post, Amplify it, Could I select a Bitcointalk post, a website article, just about anything, or is this starting with just Youtube? If this is what I think it is, I could earn some nice AMPS using this system.

Yes I did. Few weeks ago I connected to Synereonet slack and after some chatting they added me to the list of alpha testers.
Alpha version of the Qrator was very simple, cool designed and easy to use app. In this moment it works only on youtube. You could Amplify any video(select number of AMP and amplify content), share links with others and review all Amplified videos. It needs more interaction and notifications between users. Also no real AMPs were used during alpha testing. I believe beta version of Qrator is going to grab user’s attention.
