could someone post a diy on the burning blur process. Thanks. Or is it similar to burning btc?

Answers -  and dev has posted more as well. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=482660;sa=showPosts

do we have a darkpoold client for download? or have to compile from source code?

what will happen i have a several address in my wallet?

after burn,,what should i to do to claim my BLUR?

signature with my private key?
Yes.  It is Python, so its not "compiled".  You need the python dependencies listed in the readme, which you can install using the command described there using pip to pull them all in for you.

If you have several addresses in your wallet, you can send from them individually if you want.

After burning, you don't have to do anything to claim the BLUR.  They are automatically associated to your wallet address/key.  You can use the wallet command with darkpoold (darkpoold <options stuff> wallet) to see all of the addresses in your wallet and what assets are associated to them.

DarkPool daemon available at:

https://github.com/industrialcoinmagic/darkpoold

It is Python, and connects with RPC to crave-qt or craved.  Use --burn command to burn CRAVE for BLUR.

Can use --help command to see available calls.

Run an instance as server:
./darkpoold.py --backend-rpc-password=craverpcpassword --backend-rpc-user=craverpcuser --rpc-password=darkpooldpassword server

Then you can run commands like:
./darkpoold.py --backend-rpc-password=craverpcpassword --backend-rpc-user=craverpcuser --rpc-password=darkpooldpassword burn --source craveaddresstoburncoinsfrom --quantity #ofcrave

I am looking at modifying Boottle which is a client web wallet that you run local and has easy button to turn darkpoold server on and off.  Right now is command line only.

Burn period runs for ~30 days from block 17000.

-snip-
Don't send from Bittrex or exchanges!  You should use the darkpoold client.  It will credit your BLUR to the address you burned the CRAVE from (where the inputs came from - you can see this in Coin Control).

its this i think

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/crave/address.dws?Bs8Haw3nAsWf5hmLfKzc6PMEzcxUGSYjxf.htm

tm2013 handles it so he can tell you more

DO NOT send crave directly to that address if you do you will get nothing.

it needs to go through a darkpoold server protocol. there is a process, its hard to deal with. I tried to set it up and failed then paid 2 crave to have a community member do it for me.

Troublesome96 posted above the links to the python program that takes care of burning crave.

FYI Blur will be used for an asset exchange like counterparty. it will not be used for the urge marketplace.

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

Just sell your cach and buy crave. Simple.

EDIT: wow. and current exchange is closer to 1:20. twice as much as your offer. cute. nice try.

yup because each coins weight will only ever be = to "1 weight" you'd literally have to buy over 51% of staking coins to be able to even attempt it... were as other coins with no "max age" the attack can be done with much less % of coins
This isn't necessarily the case.  There IS a way you could attempt it.  But this issue is why I hid the darksend/instantx stuff in the UI in the wallet and default to NOT use instantx, I don't trust it and I want to remove the hooks for it before bringing darksend back / exposing it in the UI.  Especially in a Proof-of-Stake coin, there are issues with it even without attempting it intentionally.  Darkcoin kind of jumped the gun IMO and interwove instantx everywhere thinking that it is a better mousetrap, but I personally just don't trust it.

Thx Dev for answer! Just woke up, and nods almost 230  Cheesy   Who is smarter slowly purchased coins and create their own nodes
So what Huh I have 2 masternodes now and since 31 hours didn't seen single payment from node .Wha da ..is going on?? Huh

sorry that i will repeat myself...
the more mn we have so less is the chance that one of these get a block reward. That is simple math. So the the consequence is the price would go up if the demand stays the same...
Price will go up when people pull their coins off exchanges and begin to set up masternodes.

I did a little looking at the masternode payments and from what I'm seeing is some are getting 3~6 payments a day and others less. As less coins are being staked less blocks are being created/pushed so there are less payments going to the masternodes.

I think it's just the more nodes running means theres more competition between nodes and some are luckier than others... I was wondering if it had something to do with the location

the amount of pos blocks found in a day should stay the same... network difficulty is back to what it was, so we have healthy competition for nodes and pos blocks  Cool

I don't feel comfortable buying anymore CRAVE until the spork errors in the log and the payment disparity is explained or fixed Sad
sry to hear that, i am sure imc will look at the issue and answer soon. not sure but looks like pos masternodes are based on luck factor, same as staking. however i am getting based on calculations pretty stable income.. around 3.5 crave per node/daily in average.

YaY my android crave wallet is finally sync'd up  Grin (crappy phone)

is there no QR code reader in the "send" part? that is crucial for an android wallet to have.

and also noticed certain things don't scale well in the droid wallet for the screen size. it could deff do with some polishing up

Yep needs polishing can't read alot of text when Navagating throughout the app. This is very discouraging in terms of the devs skills.
