1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: May 01, 2021, 04:18:52 PM
Totally agree, fate just a excuse for us to console ourselves, the reason is lack of control,if you keep gambling without control, might be you could win one or twice, but you would lose finally. This is a normal phenomenon for a gambler.
Gamling just for fun,not for life.
It's about the intent that you have when starting. Do you playing for fun / for getting entertained or to get your daily dose of gambling addiction? Take it as entertainment that pays sometimes for playing, and the full control will be in your hands.
If you take gambling "as an entertainment that pays sometimes for playing" then there won't be anything like self control on the long run becasue we are humans and our wants can't be satisfy. How does gambling addiction grow?  Gambling addiction gradually set in through the means of - let me make something small for myself today and tomorrow something bigger till such a gambler become a victim of addiction. So, i will rather said - take gambling as an entertainment to ease out stress -.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: May 01, 2021, 03:51:57 PM
In this March, I can't make my own satisfactory trade due to my wrong decision and research. But I got some profit from BNB and used buy back policy again and again. Today, I sold my all BNB token at around $245 but now it is still bullish in mood. The next major resistance is located at the $300 level. So I need some suggestions whether I go for buying it again or should I stop here.
This is the beauty of cryptocurrencies, do your personal research to me is better than accepting chorus answers. Imagine when you made these profit and went ahead to buy back these BNB coins by now you could have be a millionaire if not mistaken, but hope you were able to take little from your profit and invest back into BNB?. Life is all about risk and those who will survive should be those that embark on this journey with risk too, taking risk is good and your ability to manage it make you strong as a survival.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments destroy stablecoins in the long term? on: May 01, 2021, 03:39:39 PM
Grin Basically fiats can't destroy fiats as the government itself won't care about them becasue they can be easily be regulated for the benefit of the government. The government in some years to come will gather these stable-coins for their benefit, so, the fear of the government destroy these stable-coins will not even exist. The decentralized stable-coins should be those that government might fight but still yet might not see the light of the day as these decentralized stable-coins can't be trace.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: May 01, 2021, 03:28:48 PM
<snip>
What are your thoughts? Do you think BNB will reach $1k soon? If not, why? Is BNB's price sustainable? What's your prediction of BNB's price 5-10 years from now? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
The current movement in the market in regard to BNB,  Binance coin will surely be at the top of CMC alongside the ethereum but for it not making it to $1k now should be some work for the marketing team to work on. We saw the Ethereum network congested some time in the past and Binance came with something lighter but with binance gradually moving and steady they will make the $1k soon before the Q3 of this year 2021 considering the pace the project move.

If you talk about sustainability of the price, i believe CZ won't let this project down becasue of his reputation, so, this project will definitely always push for the best it could. Well, in the next 5-10 years from now, Binance coin will likely make a good profit for holders IMO. Smiley
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: May 01, 2021, 03:09:30 PM
I have a few friends who bet on basketball, mostly NBA, and they've an amazing track record of 55% winning parlays. I have probably 2 or 3% on football. They keep telling me that betting on basketball is easier but I still don't get why. Any clue? do you bet on that?
Well that's the beauty of sport, everyone have their own passion on the sport they prefer in life - even in a family circle.

In my college days, most of my friends love some sport that i hated most but that was their personal choices why myself love some sports. I could watch soccer from morning till night without getting tired but most of my friends can't spent few hours, but for others like porker they can, so, individual difference matters on the type of sport they have passion about. I don't bet on any sport aside the soccer football and my favorite clubs are in diffrent leagues.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: May 01, 2021, 02:52:53 PM
At least you learned a valuable lesson. These casino bonuses come with strings attached almost every time. It is important to read the terms very carefully so you know what the wagering requirements are and determine if you want to accept the bonus. These requirements are usually designed to minimize the possibility of you walking away with a large amount of money.
Yes because sometimes that the Terms is just a trap and waiting for your mistake and then boom you will be a Victim .
look at the reputation section and in scam ANN thread , you will find almost similar on your case.
Yes, this is exactly what am saying, going through the whole of reputation section, there are similar scam issues related to this types and i wonder why people still fall for these issues regularly. In this case of the OP, why will the gambling platform not clearly and boldly spent out the non-usage of the bonus for some certain games in their platforms? but rather made some smaller fonts of it to trap those who can't be patient enough to read tiny-letters?.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL ADDED] Boxing: Saturday 1st May 2021 - Derek Chisora versus Joseph Parker on: May 01, 2021, 02:39:31 PM
This is a pretty evenly matched fight. Both are good heavyweights but neither can really be considered elite. I lean slightly towards Joseph Parker because he has actually won a world title. Chisora looked good against Usyk but he is reaching an age where most boxers start to think about retirement.
If he's (Derek Chisora) thinking towards retirement then why would he brought in a new trainer?, most of these fighters sometimes don't think about retirement but about titles. I read couple of replies and everyone seem to be on the side of the most favorite (Joseph Parker) but believe me the game will definitely change becasue of this new trainer he (Derek Chisora) got. With his stubbornness along with little changes to his previous fight anything can happen inside the ring in few hours from now.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ibrahimovic under FIFA and UEFA investigation on: May 01, 2021, 02:18:19 PM
~
there is no personal matter but it's just a business~
Kill someone and say it was just a business. I believe he clearly knew what consequences this move was gonna lead to, he is not a college team player, he should have a personal lawyer who is in charge of such situations.
I can't really see him with a personal lawyer making any positive move based on these allegations leveled against him by these two bodies. Although the case is still under-investigation, hopefully the penalty be such that could be manage to avoid ruining his career and reputation. Who knows, maybe there were something like fixed match with this particular sport platform, it's better to wait for the outcome of this investigation before involve a lawyer IMO.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RUMOUR: Facebook will announce they hold #Bitcoin on: April 30, 2021, 08:28:54 PM
My guess is that he himself is predicting that because that's a strong possibility and if he is right, his account would get ton of more street cred because he broke the news (not that he heeds it), and if he is wrong... Well, no one cares because it was a "rumor" anyway. I have to try that approach too.
So it is basically the safest approach of all of them because you can deny when it is wrong and you will be a prophet if it really happens. Some users say that it will not be true but who knows and Facebook suddenly changed their stance against bitcoin.
Leg cross as we wait for their Q1 report. Who knows, maybe they are holding like the Tesla company did. There are always rumors from crypto-world and this could be real if their report is out, so, let wait for their report. If this rumor will be true then bitcoin will experience some big adoption as more exposure will set in.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: April 30, 2021, 07:59:40 PM
A very unpleasant situation, which is another reminder that you should always read the user agreement before using any gambling site.

In my opinion, the gambling site should have programmatically made it impossible to bet from the bonus account on the listed games and introduced the necessary limits. Otherwise it all looks very much like a not entirely honest business, with its creators covering their actions with a user agreement.
We should also understand that these gambling platforms are out for profits and nothing will give out profit "if" there are no traps set for those who can't read platforms TOS. Something like this happened to me some years back with some online courier company, after placing my orders with the best deal, i forget to read about their agreement and when the time of delivering came they sent me some messages that my country wasn't among the country for such deals, then, return my funds and my account was suspended till-date.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: April 30, 2021, 07:31:04 PM
Gambling usually involves a lot of damage on one's own and in dealing with the situation. Even if a loss it is foolish to give up and lose everything profits and losses for the game will be higher if the risk is high it helps to learn something new and it becomes easier to know the next step of the game so gambling has to be played and enjoyed as a means of entertainment. You need to apply your skills and learn to take breaks when the risk is high in the midst of all adversity if the trader the participating gambler is respectful of the rules he can run the casino business profitably.
It is not gambling that made the damage but the gambler that decides for their future .

so never blame gambling for what you will become because this is just s game and a Human is having the decisions .
Those who don't see the gambling as an entertainment will be victims of damage which we can't argue but self control in gambling is the best of all that gamblers should imbibe. Basically those who are destitute in gambling are those without self control, sometimes when they run at loss they blame it on fate which isn't true. Sometimes some do win big before they start to experience the loss.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 30, 2021, 06:45:07 PM
A litte drop of fee now on bitcoin transactions, as you cen see in https://mempool.space/.. the highest priority now is only 6 usd, compared to yesterday's 10 to 15 usd. It's now time to transact bitcoin to save fees as eventually it will again rise as the mempool gets congested.
Thanks for sharing, the price may drop but it's still high for most gamblers. I'd rather trade that bitcoin to altcoins if that's from our wallet, $6 is still higher compared to paying $1 or lower which is possible with some altcoins particularly with XRP.
More reason why am afraid to gamble with bitcoin, the transaction fees are still very much high compare to some altcoins which of-course help minimize gambler loss. Since the starting of the high fees. i have carefully selected some gambling platforms that have implemented the use of altcoins in their platforms and this has helped me drastically in the area of loss. A time will come when very few will be using bitcoin for gambling becasue of it price in future.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 30, 2021, 06:05:28 PM
IMHO, the best Sport to bet it on is the Sport where you're interested into and have enough knowledge about the game, the association, the players, and even the coaches. These knowledge maybe enough to let you analyze match ups and mitigate the possibility of lossing even betting against the odds.
NBA has been a good betting for Sports for me, simply because I can bet like 3-5 times everyday as there are usually 8 games and 16 teams are playing everyday.
So, when you lose from the current match, then maybe you'll win from the next one. Or win them all, worse lose them all. That's the nature of gambling anyway.
Typical gamblers care nothing about the type of game but the chance to win is what they are looking mate and i think that is the main objective of this thread to ask for the opportunity of winning.
Not all the time you look out for the winning frankly, a sport you care less about can't be a sport you will find winnings easily as a bettor but those games or sports that you care about and you well understand should bring you close to your fortune than those you careless about IMO. I love sporting bets with my favorite teams players and i hate cricketing becasue am not in love with them.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 30, 2021, 05:57:38 PM
~snip~

What kind of gambling enjoyment are you talking about if the guy wanted to end his life? The only person who can enjoy gambling is someone who does not feel the loss of casino funds on his budget. If a guy is gambling with his last bit of money and borrowing money to gamble, it's an addiction that needs to be treated.

That's a serious matter that need attention, we'll at some point make some decisions that made us run at loose in  a casinos but this should be our earned funds and not borrowed funds, seeing some gamblers doing this borrowing to gamble even when they are still running at lost should be treated with immediate effect. Some of them after borrowed these funds and have no means to pay back, they thinking nothing than commit suicide in the process, while some end up taking their own life abruptly.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: (I have not sold any bitcoins) New words from Elon Musk on: April 29, 2021, 08:03:33 PM
Elon musk tweeted his Twitter profile with his own speech, I don't sell my bitcoin which means that elon musk a viral person who already invested bitcoin and dogecoin but he didn't sell his any cryptocurrencies.
Even if he sold his bitcoin, what's that got to do with everyone in the market? Yes the prices will go down when Elon dumps his coins but we know that it will just get back up.
Yes ofcourse mate, absolutely nothing if he sold but for Elon Musk to make such statement wasn't just to create fear in the mindset of other investor but to clear the air about what others said about him that was wrong. Tesla as a company sold their 10% holding in bitcoin to prove liquidity and rumors went around that it was Elon Musk instead of Tesla, so, he took time to address that.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: chances of bank closing account if you buy bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 07:48:31 PM
What are the chances of a bank closing your account if you buy bitcoin? i have heard people say they closed down their bank account for buying bitcoin, but this might have been a few years ago. he only said they closed his account, there is no chance of them taking all the money in your account, correct?
In my country nobody will close down your Bank account because you purchase Bitcoin, rather, if you are operating a cryptocurrencies business in Nigeria you stand the chance of your business account to be close becasue of their ban, though don't really know if that's still much effective in the country. There's something they can't ban - if you're operating a P2P transaction the government or Bank can't ban you Bank account.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price end of year? on: April 29, 2021, 07:00:27 PM
i believe even if bitcoin drops a bit in a month, bitcoin will still hit 100k by end of year! let me know what you guys think
Without an iota of doubt bitcoin should be such that will make something big before the end of this year becasue of past histories in the world of crypto. The fall of bitcoin price was long awaited becasue of it price movement from the beginning of this year 2021, the current correction that's happening in the market will be that which will spur bitcoin price to $70k and then to a higher level like $250k before the close of 2021 IMO.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: April 29, 2021, 06:39:22 PM
Buying BTC now is extremly risky. This is a bubble what we see now.  Soon the prices will drop to 20k then buy BTC.
But now is not the time at the end of the bull run.
You mean buy now even at a correction level is still a bad idea?, where are you from man?, i though buy at correction should be encourage than at bull-run. If bitcoin price drop to that level you predicted @- $20k, what "%" do you think we will be talking about?, it's better to wait for the 30% most of you predicted.
Quote
Soon we'll reach good point to buy at 20k btc this good price.
now is high price i wouldn't put 60k on btc.
but is good time to buy altcoins that can make you x2-5x
Even the altcoins you are advising doesn't give guarantee these days because the market of the altcoins do react negatively to bitcoin movement sometimes.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next Bitcoin manipulation prediction on: April 29, 2021, 06:24:40 PM
Bitcoin had undergone a massive price manipulation last week. When will be the next Bitcoin price manipulation? Do you have any ideas?
Why do many bitcoiners believe on market price manipulations so much?, it's time we understand the force that move the price of these assets in the market. The only force that actually move the price in the market is that of adoption and not just manipulation, though, i stand to be corrected on this. Adoption in the crypto-space will definitely give more room for the market price to flow positively, so, let stop this issue of bitcoin market manipulation every-time the market price is down.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: April 29, 2021, 06:14:34 PM
We enter a bear market now. I expected it to last longer but this is the end,
Why you are so confident claiming that we are starting the bearish season? It is not a bearish season yet, the current drop in crypto prices is just a correction. You must do more research before you claim or decide something. I think you are too frustrated to see your crypto values dropping the values. Don't worry bro, the price of crypto coins already increase again.
You don't really have to cast blame on them as many of them do have this disbelieve that bitcoin on correction is something that won't be reverse again. We have seen things of this nature, for bitcoin to make some good profit from January, 2021 to this day when some drop occurring about 20% shouldn't be a big deal IMO. Even before the bears set in, there were news or rumors about the correction and this should not be something that happened suddenly, there will be bullish again at the end - OP- should just wait.
