Well i think sooner or later we will see more and more services starting to accept bitcoin for their goods as it has been gaining popularity for a long time and some services have already started accepting btc as a payment option. Even though it has become more popular there are still a lot of people who have a little to no idea about bitcoins and I'm pretty sure there are people who don't trust btc completely as of now, I think these people, once they have enough knowledge (if) about btc might start using it. But we'll have to wait and watch.

Well its only natural for people to be happy when they see their investment becoming somewhat successful. When the price goes down, the long time investors won't really care too much about that as it definitely would be going up again but this price drops makes new investors happy as they get to buy btc or any other altcoin at lower price. So you can't really say that 'people' are happy when the price goes up as it includes both 1. The people who have invested in bitcoins since a long time and 2. The people who wanted to invest in btc and were waiting for the price to go down, the latter would be happy in this situation.

People still see bitcoin the way it is portrayed by the media like 1) Bitcoin is a pyramidal scheme. 2) It was a bubble which popped. And god knows what other shit the media has fed to the people. Bitcoin is still one of the better investment ideas out there it hasn't replaced gold for a fact and it never would actually in my opinion. Bitcoin is different that of gold and will be and bitcoin will be the best in it's league. As governments and the media demonizes bitcoin people will have a negative view on it.

To be honest I think it is quite foolish to sell out your bitcoins for buying Christmas gifts. But maybe some people are doing it as many of the replies in this thread say "yes I'm doing so to buy gifts". But if you ask me personally I am not cashing out bitcoins to buy any gifts lol neither should anyone else.

Lol this is like the first time I came across something like this. I don't have an answer to such a question because I've never came across such a situation earlier where my partner asked me to cash out and stuff after hearing something on media or wherever but I think it is that particular individuals choice wether he wants to cash out or keep investing and holding and not the partners choice. I would say is like the partner should respect the others choice and not force him/her to do something they don't want.

I haven't ever lost bitcoin neither my bitcoins were stolen as of yet(Touchwood). But I have heard many many cases where not just bitcoins but mamy other coins were stolen from them from exchanges and ICOs. If I remember quite correctly one of my colleagues was an investor in some ICO called as circle or something similar and that was such a big scam, the signs were clear and the returns promised were quite to high and no I had never seen an ICO claiming things like the Circle ICO was but people still wasted there time just because of that greed of money. Lol shouldn't be laughing on people's misery but it is always those peope who are greedy of money are the ones who get scammed more often.

There is nothing about being stressed if you play it right, by playing right I mean first only invest what you can bear to lose then second when it comes to bitcoin I have seen is it is better to buy them when low and store them away for quite some time.
We only stress ourselves from this market and with bitcoin, if you are greedy then you will be stressed if bitcoin turns down your hope for a while. We have to set our mind right, have the best understanding about bitcoin and invest on the right time, I mean while the price of bitcoin is down, better to buy for sure it can bring happiness to you on next pump. Could not agree any less mate. As you said it is about the greediness which will put you to stress if the market starts falling down but if one can think well then the market prices falling could be a good thing as he/she can buy some more coins and store them till the next time the market goes up.

This article is a must-have for every crypto or non-crypto newbie.
Agreed. But actually all these things are so simple that even a child can guess them before investing. Simple yet so many people fall for these scams. You seem to be a new member here unless this is your alt account, I have been on this forum for quite a long time and have seen people falling for such scams posted by new accounts, campaigns that don't have any escrows and other similar stuff.

I guess there is something called a keylogger that people use to record input data like passwords and username so maybe it even applies to private keys or public keys as well. I would say it would be better that you rather use your phone that some public cafe, you are highly endangering your wallets and coins. I guess using your phone would be safer than what you use.

Ahh an age-old question of who is Satoshi Nakamoto. If I'm not wrong it is the most asked question in this forum and the easiest way to increase that post count for many. Anyways some say satoshi Nakamoto is an Artificial Intelligence, some say he is some other guy and is pretending to be Satoshi, some say it is a group of people who work under the name os Satoshi Nakamoto. But the only theory I believe in is that Satoshi Nakamoto is a single person who worked with a group of people somewhere in the year 2009's if I am not wrong.

Bitcoin was very much created for that something free and independent from the banks and government economy. Bitcoin was made to give us economic freedom and pure control over it and no other other authority.

Honestly I haven't been very active and haven't kept an eye on the market or any news recently. I guess there's no such big reason for this sudden prove spike maybe it's just the market going up and down.

We are still some time away from all the bitcoins getting mined. Of that time comes it might result in bitcoin process going very high as once the supply would be limited demand would start increasing and when supply decreases and demand increases prices also go up .

Don't rely on bitcoin for your new house just get a job and search for a better way to make passive income. Bitcoin prices and the way the market goes up and down doesn't make it that reliable to buy a dream house.

Yup it's the same here in India it is not the Bitcoins that have been banned it is just the ICOs and exchanges that have been shut down. People misinterp this and think it is bitcoin which is banned. Here in India bitcoin isn't considered as an legal tender though.
