101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you feel about high-profile traders making wrong calls ? on: February 29, 2024, 01:40:35 AM
I think it's good to look at what "the smart money" is doing sometimes, and realize that they may not be as smart as we think they are.
Probably yes. Besides, we can't call them an expert or good trader if they don't experience losses in their trading career. Maybe I was wrong but this really happened because in the other way, losing would help us learn more and be an indication that we need to improve. If we are afraid to lose, well, I don't think we choose trading but rather be a silent rich investor who has no name and reputation so people don't care who we are.

Being smart about money is also to carefully choose where to use it. Trading is not a bad choice but the question is if we really have the capabilities to perform such high-risk.

103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 27, 2024, 11:06:05 AM

Poor arent supposed to gamble? It should be considering with their financial status on which we know that it would really be that a bad idea on dealing up with it but if that poor one would really be
just having that kind of leisure seeking kind of intent then i would say that it is really just that that fine on dealing with gambling. Doesnt matter whether you are rich or poor on which it is really always important that you should really be only playing on the time that you would really be getting bored. Dont tend to make it as an income because this is where people do usually mess up their lives
because of bad decisions towards it. The main key on here is that you should be making yourself wary about the risks involve with then then you would really be just that fine.
Unfortunately, most of them are into gambling and buying lottery tickets hoping to have luck and become rich instantly. This is a usual thinking for someone who is hopeless and they think gambling is the last option for them to improve. Sadly, they don't realize that this kind of thinking will even make them poorer and poorer.

For rich people, gambling is just for pleasure and pastime but for poor and average people, they consider this as a source of income. We could say that they are wrong (poor/average people) and we hope they will open their eyes and stop it.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of gambling sites are scams ! on: February 25, 2024, 12:21:00 PM
That is we must give importance to doing research rather than just having a random pick as it has a higher probability that we fall into scam sites. Like if we value our hard-earned money and enjoy it while gambling, then we must also find sites that are legally operated. Knowing reputed gambling sites is necessary, we can find them here in the forum. But of course, must check carefully if we click the right site or a clone one. Remember, online gambling sites are tricky, scammers will copy similar names and put some twist on them. We don't need to be careless or else, it was just like we are feeding these scammers like a king and queen.

If we want to be safe and use ONLY reputed sites, then we also have to work on it. We don't take it easy and be aware of scammer's tricks.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make everybody to win in their crypto trading? on: February 23, 2024, 10:04:36 AM
We may appreciate traders who have been too successful and even get influence from them but it doesn't mean they can make us win and be like them. Maybe some could make a good run and win but many will fails.
Many will totally fail. Not because they have good calls and signals or predictions for themselves, it can't be applicable to the other traders.
If they can win themselves, that's good but it won't be possible to all that will listen to them because we have different decision calls.
Some may be good at having those decisions that won't solely rely on the market terms while the others are not.
Same strategy, same trading tools, and everything is the same but when it comes to decision-making, there we can find who is good and who is not. We are really seeing who will earn and who will lose.

So many factors affect our trade which is why we can't assume to be successful because we are mentoring a good trader or expert as they are not there always to help us and make decisions. If not sometimes, it is probably most of the time we are the ones who make it and that it differs from them. In this case, we test how good we are and if not too lucky, we will fail and lose.

In order to become somebody, then must act alone and improve decision-making. Other people just only give us advice, nothing else so we are the one who carry ourselves.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: February 21, 2024, 12:54:13 PM
I was when first knew about gambling but as the years passed by, it was no more to feel, it was just a normal way of living in this world as I pleased myself into gambling. But the feeling of being disappointed never seems lost as I still feel the same just like before when noticed that I lost straight that day without any winnings. Felt guilty for a person who regrets spending their money on gambling but I also think, this is what I want, I gamble for fun, not for money. So instead of complaining around, why not accept the fact that it was hard to make money from gambling rather than earning experience and suffering losses?

So if we gamble, we never assume to double or multiply our money here, unless you are too lucky that day.
107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make everybody to win in their crypto trading? on: February 21, 2024, 10:40:22 AM
We may appreciate traders who have been too successful and even get influence from them but it doesn't mean they can make us win and be like them. Maybe some could make a good run and win but many will fails.

Everyone has different level of knowledge and skill which is why we can assume that even following an expert trader, we also become a successful one. Whether we like it or not, not all are meant for trading which is why some will succeed while some are not. Therefore, we don't need to force ourselves to become a trader if we feel we can't as it never have a good ending story.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too advanced to get into Bitcoin now? on: February 21, 2024, 07:26:40 AM
There is no difference between asking "if we are too late or not"? There is no perfect time to buy, so don't think too much about the price but instead, find a way not to miss the opportunity. We can just recall the price history of Bitcoins many years ago but we can no longer bring it back again. We could just use it as our motivation and believe that Bitcoin price will continue to grow.

If you have the guts to invest OP, give no doubt but do it now as soon it turns bullish which gives you profit.
Many people are buying so no reason why we should not since we know it was a profitable investment.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 20, 2024, 01:49:49 PM
For so many years in gambling, I could say that LUCK doesn't come in timing as not actually happen to me. Maybe I was too unlucky not to win my last bet and lost but this never means that I was complaining about it as I know that in gambling sometimes we get lucky but most of the time are not. I was not experienced yet with this but I hope it can be someday. Or maybe, that is a sign that I will not extend my gambling time because if ever I win, I may use that money thinking for another win. That is common to most of us as we just stop until to find out that we don't have money left on our pocket anymore.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 20, 2024, 12:14:29 PM
snip...
what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,
He has some point of his stance thinking that trying a new one will stress him from familiarizing how the platform works. He never feels comfortable doing it and that sometimes happens to me. Every gambler has their choice and favorite gambling site which makes them prefer to stay using it rather than trying a new one even if they have a good offer.
Quote
also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.
It makes no sense and instead of doing this, better to let him choose what they prefer. We better respect his decision rather than forcing someone as this won't help but instead, this probably creates misunderstandings and blaming especially if he loses. Because it was not the offer but the place where he felt comfortable.

112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can we act against scammers, hackers and criminals? on: February 20, 2024, 04:29:26 AM
Perhaps, it is an individual solution. It is easy to spot a scam's motives if we are not too mindful of money and because these scammers will use promising words that would attract attention. Then must stay away from them and ignore quick rich opportunities because that would just end up scamming.

But hacking is a different story, even an expert may fall. Taking extra caution could help but this won't totally rid of hackers/scammers. No matter what we do, these people are already a part of the community and I think the best thing is to accept the fact they still exist in the real world. So what we gonna do is to be more careful with the apps installed and links to click. And one must decide if this is right or wrong.

113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 19, 2024, 09:51:45 PM

What do you think, is this good and can help me overcome losses that will occur so that $$ remains safe and can be used in future betting? Are there other unique ways that you can use to grow your money in gambling? feel free to comment. Thanks
If say's okay if you are benefiting from the impact of the change and I apparently see it as good but the question is if it is becoming long-term or just short-term. Gambling management is not far from being a responsible gambler. But if we consider gambling as our source of income, we also consider ourselves as an irresponsible gambler. Why? This will also change our gambling habits and the most possible is that we spend more money believing that we can earn more money. We are breaking our limits and that even pushes us to addiction.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Not easy times in the world but how the goverment will improve? on: February 19, 2024, 09:02:52 PM
In my country the government and its officials are busy looting public fund without remorse, since no one is to monitor them, there yes and no stands without challenge from any angle, my country's president before he assumed office once said during one of his campaigns that it is his turn to rule, I want to ask what do we expect from a president whose manifesto is mockery in the sight of the citizens, a country that's is blessed with everything is now suffering from hunger, inflation is hitting us hard and the government is not doing anything about it, no economic step taken so far, with the mineral resources we have in my country more especially the state where I come from is not suppose to be lacking employment and basic amenities but embezzlement of public funds and abandoning the citizen to lavish in poverty has become a normal thing in my country, at this point is only God that can come to our rescue.
Government projects and funds are audited for sure and many corrupt officials get caught for not using it properly and overpriced projects but sadly, only a few got punished by the law, and they are still free and continue doing their illegal use of funds. Honestly, most of these government leaders don't care about the poverty situation of the people but just their personal interests. This is why we don't have to expect and wait for any help from them as they might give us some food donations that only last for a few days. The government never finds a long-term solution, if we never work hard, we never survive.
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning comes before earning on: February 19, 2024, 11:23:54 AM
Just imagine a job seeker failing to get hired because lack of education and experience. It is a mere fact that we need to invest first in proper education in order to get a higher chance of winning the competition. Perhaps, it was a prerequisite that we needed to acquire before landing a better job.

Just imagine how a businessman becomes successful. Indeed, they work hard on studying how the business operates so well. It all means that there is a big hope of earning money when we have experiences and learnings. Working hard in building knowledge and strategies is the key to success, and that is how we've paid off.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hold in patience, nothing can stop the raging bull when it comes on: February 18, 2024, 10:50:58 AM
Price corrections are inevitable, but no losses happens if we are able to hold tight. I'd never say this is difficult in reality if we are certain about what we want to see results of our investment. I see how important to develop a positive kind of thinking and mindset for this will drive us to the right path and passive results.

Hearing FUD is not new to us and it makes change your market views. But keeping our mind firm on our goal is certainly no effect. Trust really matter here, it is an influential factor that help us decide to hold despite price corrections.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be very careful and attentive when selling your bitcoins on: February 18, 2024, 08:14:12 AM
I haven't used a centralized cryptocurrency exchange since 2019(if I remember correctly). I'm selling my BTC outside the centralized exchanges and I don't have to deal with buy and sell orders. I never had any problems with selling my BTC so far. I guess that this Novadax exchange isn't very convenient and user friendly, so this Bitcoin investor had placed the wrong sell order. This is yet another Bitcoin horror story about losing your coins due to your own mistakes. Some people lose their private keys, other people place the wrong sell orders. Sh&t happens... Unfortunately we can't do anything about this problem.
Perhaps, choosing unknown and non reputable exchange is a big mistake, and much more if this is the first time we use the platform. The rush to click the sell/buy button without bothering to recheck it more often it went wrong. It happens to me, in fact, I was using known platform Binance but has no chance of getting it back once filled and sold. That could be a harsh thing happen in crypto space but somehow, this mistake and losing experience  helps us to further know how tricky in here which we really need to be more careful and double check placed order before hitting the sell/buy option.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What traders must know on: February 18, 2024, 07:34:56 AM
Everything you've said OP are the vital things to learn. Unfortunately, can't forced everyone to do this and take this seriously as they don't feel yet the hardships until they will found it how difficult it was when suffering losses.

We've see a lot of newbies are trading and thinking that they could earn easily even without knowledge but the results blown out their mind and realized their mistakes from ignoring these things.

Trading is not just money but in order to succeed, we also need to deal our emotions and greed as these are the common reasons why many traders fails.
119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why it's wrong to save vital information on your phone. on: February 17, 2024, 11:40:24 PM
Honestly OP, you will never realize that was wrong until when you have been hacked and the main cause is the keys that are stored in your phone.
If you care about it, I don't recommend saving your important details on your phone but keep it separately. We may say we are prone to hacking but at least we make these hackers suffer difficulties before they discover our keys. As they are smart, we should also be smart in keeping and securing our funds so that they realize that people are also learning.

We must consider those people who have experienced hacking as a lesson to learn rather than wait for it to happen to us. It makes no sense as it was given already and yet, we don't do something to avoid it.
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is just happened on the Bitcoin Market? on: February 17, 2024, 10:57:21 PM
I don't think we have to keep wondering every day what is happening in the market because whether we like it or not, it has been behaving this way since before. We experienced an uptrend today and in the next couple of days, it possibly be a downtrend as well.

We just think about the volatility of the market and make ourselves aware of the situation that Bitcoin is so popular now that the government hates it. We are not just talking about the SEC but so many factors affecting the price of Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin had already established strong support for the community which keeps the price high. Yes, it dumps but it recovers.
