1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ARB a rising star ? on: April 03, 2023, 09:59:17 AM
Seems still not ended discussing about Arbitrum coins or ARB after success airdrop distribution for eligible participants have transaction history from swap, bridge and add liquidity there. Each participants reward minimum from 600 coins until above 5000 coins depend how most active and volume transaction ever swap or bridge there.
Until it was hot in the market and saw its huge growth despite the situation where most altcoins are still in a correction you never wonder why people asked and talked about it due to curiosity.
Quote
I am not lucky participants with less transaction or bridge there but seems have been over with Arbitrum or ARB coins hype, right now many airdrop participants eligible with ARB coins have sold out and there are not any good progress form this coins about up coming development, true or not after reward distribution price have bee drop and ARB difficult reach to higher price more.
It drops as expected, and the volume of sell-off and offering low will eventually decrease the price of this coin until it reaches the point that nobody is buying anymore. We have so many cases like this and I see how these hunters become desperate to sell their coins without thinking about the negative impact of this on the price.
1022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2years of trading! on: April 03, 2023, 05:15:37 AM
Experience is one of. the best teacher but if you didn't learn from this experience I guess there's something wrong with the things you are doing. I've been in the world of trading for over year's there are a lot of red days before profit comes my first three months are not a good run and it's really hit different but after that days you've been seen there's some improvement and taking step by step a good run.
I definitely won't expect that they can manage themselves to stay long in trading if they never learn from their mistakes and from their experience. In fact, we know that it is a tool for us to improve and become successful. With that 2 years of experience as OP saying, I believe he encounters many difficult things and sufferings but as a person who has a positive mindset, quitting is barely to happen.
For me OP, it was already an amazing journey and I was certain that with your experience, something to say that you are already a successful trader.
1023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 02, 2023, 09:46:48 PM
In life there are many peoples wants freedom and this is available in day training and not any restrictions that whenever and wherever you want to doing work
If we thing about that are in enjoying with your family there you are also allow to work as well and also enjoy
Also freedom from your Boss.
I would say it was one of the great options to consider and in fact, many people are already engaged in this and some of them got financially stable, who knows they can do the same as well. Yes, it is worth trying in order to know if they can really take the risk and carry the stress.
Anyways, so many online jobs were available at this time and the only thing we do is to choose a kind of work that we think we can perform well and in our comfort zone. But it was not just the option, if we have money enough to run a business, that is also a great idea.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 02, 2023, 09:28:01 PM
I am just curious about how does online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? Where does their earning comes from? How will you get scammed when you try online casino? How can you tell that online casino is safe?
Risk is everywhere in cryptomarket, you can just lessen it but you cannot avoid it.
Gambling are more risky, and if you are not able to find a good online casino probably the chance of losing are high. Most of the influencer introduce a good platform, but still you need to do your own research before you follow them so you can know if the site will allow you to play or not, always read their terms and conditions.
We are talking literally with casino owners/platforms who do run off the business which we know that even they are really that profitable and making revenue but it doesnt really give out assurance that they would

really be that exempted from the risks which we know that in every business there's really an accompanied risks into it.Its just that normal that they would really be spending up money for marketing which
is understandable and thats part of their expenses.Speaking about taking risks then its always been that default genre when dealing up with gambling and of course it would really be just that right that you
should come into whats the most popular and been that having the reputation so that you could somewhat assure that you are dealing on the right place.
In order for them to get gamblers' attraction, they need market promotion and use these influencers. Of course, there is an expense and it was common when you are running a business especially when there is huge competition, you will hire a number of known influencers to make it more effective. I'd see no easy for their part, casino owners don't just sit and wait for money but also they spend time working and risking money. Now if they have low collections and only a few gamblers using their platform, it was hard for them to survive. That is why they have to spend money for that sake.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 02, 2023, 08:10:50 AM
From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.

What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?
And we see this thing before, once the price of Bitcoin starts to grow, investors are also accumulating a huge number of altcoins. The idea is that investors usually think about the x1000 price rally to many altcoins before and it possibly happens again during this bull season. If they are checking the history and market movement, they can certainly be making a decision to buy more altcoins rather than buying Bitcoin this time. In fact, we can see that some new projects are pumping already, they are bullish first before the bull season.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most likely category of people to become Gambling addicts. on: April 02, 2023, 07:39:22 AM
Everyone can get addicted to gambling, regardless of whether they are rich or poor. And when those people are addicted to gambling, they will only think about gambling and how to have money to gamble. A rich man who owns a business can also lose all his money because of gambling especially if he cannot control himself while gambling. And the poor can experience frustration if they don't stop before experiencing gambling addiction.
Anyone who tried gambling is subject to possible addiction. Many lives have changed in gambling, some got compromised their finances, got debt, sold their assets due to addiction, and the worse one is that they commit crimes (theft) in order to continue their gambling addiction. yes, there is no poor or rich but as we can see, most gamblers are poor people. I don't know why but some of them told me that this would give them a chance to become rich. Well, they have some points but the question is if they are really lucky to win the jackpot rich in the lotto.
1027  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: April 01, 2023, 09:57:48 PM
It is one thing to make money, but a whole other story to keep it. When you do not have enough money, you do not spend a lot of money.... but when you have money.. your toys just gets more expensive.

You buy a bigger house and several cars... and suddenly your taxes are higher.. you pay more for insurance etc.. etc. (It is an art to manage riches, without losing it all) Roll Eyes
Because many of us don't care about the value of money and how hard we get especially rich people. Honestly, they are enjoying their life and keep doing that until they realize it. But some people will say that we never know what awaits us or if we may die tomorrow, and that is why we are enjoying our money today. They have some points but we should also have to learn the importance of savings as this will not just help us but for our family, especially for the future of our kids. We might have money today and we can buy luxury things but yes, we never know in a few years from now when we have no energy left to work or to run our business.
1028  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 01, 2023, 09:39:46 PM
Well, I was certainly bullish this time unlike in the past months. Seeing the current situation we can say that we are moving high just like what we experienced in the past years before halving. Should I say that history repeats itself? Maybe yes or maybe no but the sentiment of the market shows the same, it recovers after the bear season and it continues to pump before halving until the next bull season cycle.
I was expecting the price of Bitcoin will $32k this month, not far from the current price...
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't become world currency (at least now). on: April 01, 2023, 01:12:22 PM

So as a result, I think that bitcoin will probably stay as an asset and anonymous money. And it's not a bad thing, we need this kind of technology to exist.
For many reasons and circumstances, we can't deny the reality that Bitcoin's adoption as to becoming as a currency is still far. Though we know that some individuals are already using this, yet still, the majority are here solely for Bitcoin investment and have no plan in spending this buying a stuff or paying bills. I couldn't lose hope honestly, but if we talk about being consider as a global currency, I'm afraid it takes several decades to make it happen and come to realization as it was known being an investment, not a currency.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the altcoin go up in price if the bitcoin price goes up? on: April 01, 2023, 06:36:41 AM
That isn't always the case, you will find out some of the gems that could go against the wave, in which they'd stand unwavered despite the bitcoin correction waves incoming.
some of the coin that could go against the wave are also meme coin in which the price sentiment depends on some shill coming from influencers, so it's not true that all altcoin will go up if btc go up but some of them.
Some got influenced by social media and they move against the direction of Bitcoin but the majority have been following the trend of Bitcoin.
This is to tell us that Bitcoin is leading in the market future and people are accumulating altcoins as they believe that it will rise because Bitcoin will rise as well. Their observations are clear that whatever happens to Bitcoin when it dumps or it pumps, similar things happen in altcoins as well. We can't erase that scenario as it was the thing we experience for many in the crypto market.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 31, 2023, 09:10:13 AM
^^ Not really sure what do you mean by not interested, Canelo is still the cash cow of boxing, so whoever he fight next, will definitely make a lot of money. And maybe Bivol can double on what he get during their first fight as he already beat Canelo at 175. Now there is a scenario that might interested Bivol, that is to fight Canelo as his super middle weight class, which means that Canelo will have to put all his belt on the line. So the stakes are high and Bivol might not resists it because it's going to be a win-win situation for him. And if by chance he beat Canelo twice, then he will be a double belt champion at 168 lbs and his 175 lbs. And Canelo wanted to get his revenge against Bivol, we totally didn't expect that he will lost to Bivol.

Canelo is so popular that even if he cherry-picked his opponents he can still take home 8 digits after PPV counts. Bivol should earn around $10 million in case of a rematch. While Benavidez is a monster, Bivol is still a class above and is still the more difficult fighter to beat. Maybe Canelo can earn more against Benavidez but hats off to him if he pursues that rematch. Meanwhile, Bivol did mention earlier his willingness to drop to 168, so I am confident that a rematch happens because he accepts either at 175 or at 168. I see Bivol as a small guy at 175 though so he should be able to make 168 without much difficulty. Those undisputed belts at 168 are very tempting, to be honest. Canelo took years to complete the 4 belts and Bivol has the chance to win it all in a single fight.

Canelo is in a good position now it's either he gets a rematch with Bivol at 175 or 168 or gotta go against Benavidez.
Everyone thought a rematch against Bivol would not gonna happen after Canelo got schooled real bad against Bivol. I think it would be wiser for him to fight Bivol at 168 since I think he's more comfortable in that weight division. However, it's still up to Bivol if he accepts the challenge. I mean like you've said, Bivol might not even get affected if he's cutting weights down to 168. It might even make him faster and agile.
I feel like if Canelo fights at 168 he will have a better chance at redemption.

Many fans may not be interested in seeing a rematch between Canelo and Bivol due to the one-sided beatdown in their previous fight where Canelo was exposed. Given Benavidez's impressive win in his last fight, it might be more worthwhile to prioritize a matchup between him and Canelo. This could generate more hype and revenue, benefiting both camps.

If Canelo beats Benavidez, he could consider fighting Bivol afterwards.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which Sports do you like to bet apart from the listed one here? on: March 31, 2023, 08:48:15 AM
I'm interested in boxing and basketball, both locally and internationally. I enjoy betting on these sports because it adds to the excitement of watching the games. Although I'm not promoting that everyone should bet, for me, it maximizes the fun and adds a little thrill to the experience. It's what makes me happy.

If we talk about the most popular sport that generates the highest number of bets, it's undoubtedly soccer.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 31, 2023, 05:51:09 AM
Additionally, I think this will be a low-scoring game, as Meralco has been struggling with their shooting.

In my opinion, betting on the under is a safe bet as despite the dominant performance of TNT in game 3, they were unable to reach 100 points. They had a high-scoring first quarter, but Meralco's defense limited their scoring in the following quarters. Although Meralco's defense was good, they couldn't generate enough points to comeback in the game.

Now that this could be the last game of the series, I'm sure Meralco will play harder to improve their offense, but their defense will likely remain the same.

By the way, a quick reminder for those who don't want to miss the game: it will be live at 5:45 PM.
1034  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 31, 2023, 05:04:53 AM
By the way
How do you know the gambler didn’t use risk management
I know it is unlikely (but not impossible!) that this person has many millions or even billions of dollars and this loss represent just a small % of their fortune
It's obvious that he didn't. The most important thing in risk management is to know how to manage your bankroll. Can you imagine how much money you need to have to be able to place a bet of 1.4 million dollars on 1.01 odds without affecting your bankroll. You will need billions of dollars so you can recover such loss (supposing you are too lucky).
Regardless of the cause (gambling addiction, being reckless..), that gambler took a huge risk and he lost, that's it.

I can agree with what you say, but maybe he is a billionaire and then losing 1.4 million is peanuts for him. Money management is indeed crucial but far from easy also. It just also shows that there are no real sure bets and that it is never a good idea to bet on such low odds.

Let's not speculate too much and focus on the amount of the loss and the odds we bet on. As typical gamblers, we thought that those odds would give us a nearly 100% chance of winning, but unfortunately, that didn't happen with this bet. It's really disappointing, especially considering the large amount of money involved.

For billionaires, this amount may not be an issue, but for most gamblers, it's a significant loss. Some even hope that gambling will change their lives if they hit the jackpot.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be Cautious of honeypot token on: March 30, 2023, 10:11:33 PM
We have to know the importance of RESEARCH before investing. Scammers are just around us OP, we never know their plan that is why we should be cautious when investing and never be in a hurry. And aside from that don't invest in a project because someone or a friend of yours told you but rather make your research as well. Don't let other people make a decision on your behalf but rather make it because you are sure that you are investing in the right coin and the right project.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 29, 2023, 05:25:56 AM
I've decided to skip the first game because I believe it may be a trap, but I won't be able to confirm this until the game is over. Currently, the SMB team is offering +5.5 to the Ginebra Kings, which seems unusual to me. Although SMB needs to win to avoid elimination, they may not necessarily be the better team in this matchup. In my opinion, this line seems too obvious.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 29, 2023, 02:57:13 AM
@Maslate, I hope you had a chance to place a bet on the Warriors as predicted. As anticipated, they were down by double digits, and their odds were around 1.70. If you took the bet, you would have been comfortable watching the game, knowing that the Warriors would eventually make a comeback. Perhaps the first half belonged to the Pelicans, but the Warriors would push for a strong second half to secure the win.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 28, 2023, 01:16:11 PM
I don't trust SMB anymore. They seemed to be so frustrated in Game 2 that they wanted to hurt their opponents, especially the SMB import who was getting locked down by Brownlee. Sportsmanship was lost. SMB as a team has struggled big time. Their plays are so predictable by the Gin Kings, so most likely the same will be witnessed in Game 3.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 28, 2023, 12:39:19 PM
I was excited to watch the game but when the reporter said Embiid won't be playing, it's a big letdown. The expectation for witnessing a great game suddenly went down. I just want to see how their match will be considering Embiid will try to post up the Joker more often. Will he bite at all those hesitation moves by Embiid and be on foul trouble or not? Those type of questions still lurks in my brain. But it didn't happen, so I will just sleep it off.
They are preparing him for the playoffs, as they are already in a good spot. They won't expect too much effort to win, so that way, injuries will be prevented, knowing how injury-prone Embiid is. They will not risk it and instead, they will reserve him to get ready for the playoffs.

Embiid played well against the Warriors, but they lost that game, so his efforts were just wasted. At this moment, I'm not expecting the teams at the top to play hard anymore.

Yeah, probably it's the smart moved to do right now, not taking the risk and let Joel have his rest against the Nuggets, of course we wanted to see him and Jokic 1:1 because they are two front runners for the MVP race, but that can wait, what's important is that they are now in the playoff and they need to be careful for Joel not to get injured or something.
Embiid will make sure that he is fully healthy for the upcoming playoffs. Remember last time? He wasn't healthy, so they were eliminated early, although he was able to play in the series against the Heat if I recall correctly. It's not going to happen now as, based on paper, they are the better team than the Heat.

And as the regular season is about to close, there are going to be a lot of very close games.

Specially teams fighting for the last play-off spot and then the play-in teams.
The play-in tournament is quite entertaining to watch, as those teams who are vying for a spot are playing like it's their last game in every game. It provides enough entertainment for the fans.
1040  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 27, 2023, 12:03:06 PM

For me gambling is mostly a way to relax. When i want to visit the football match i`m paying for the ticket, something, that i buy at the stadium. The gambling is the same for me - the money i lose is like buying a ticket for me.

Gambling is like a habit that one has and with habit you inch to carry it out with out your own control. So paying for ticket on a football match is not always all the time but gambling is done all the time. Gambling is not for only fun but for financial gain that will come of it. You can watch games without attaching money to it but if money is attached then you are gambling it to gain pecuniary benefit on it because when it doesn't go your way then you are forfeiting something which is the money used in gambling and one way depending on the consistency of loses, we do feel it when we lose.
Gambling is a business and these owners will do their best to encourage gamblers to use their platforms by simply offering a huge jackpot prize. And this idea gains interest to the gamblers which really affects their mindset and start chasing it. Unfortunately, they never notice that they fall into addiction, and without knowing that they lose a lot of money than the prize. And who's to blame in this? Of course, not the site operator but the one who gambles.
