1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: March 20, 2023, 09:40:42 AM
Actually, the problem with XRP about the controversy with the SEC I thought was just an immediate restraint, simply because the previous success of XRP made the SEC hot, but in fact they did not have enough evidence to win.
Anyway, with XRP there are a lot of fond memories of previous bull runs. Perhaps some recent news that has made many people gradually interested in it again.
Though SEC never set wins for this case but unfortunately, it gives a huge trust impact to XRP and the investors making the demand decline and continues declining. Because if I was into looking for altcoins investment, I certainly not choose XRP as well and the sad thing is that the majority are rejecting XRP and this never changes until the SEC announces that XRP is safe for investment and they are not guilty of their accusation.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still a good invest? on: March 19, 2023, 12:51:43 PM
Do you think that meme coins still have a chance to do well in the next bull market? Would you still invest on projects like shiba inu and floki inu.
I'd say yes, no doubts about it. Because whether we like it or not, the majority of the coins are pumping and doing well during the bull season which possibly includes meme coins like Shiba Inu and Dogecoin. Despite the fact that they are just meme coins and have been rejected by some investors, we can't deny that many investors are blindly supporting and investing in them which is also a huge factor in why their prices never turn like shitcoins. A reason why it was not simple to just looked it down as they have the chance and capacity to rise when the bull season comes.
1063  Economy / Speculation / Re: What about the little increase? on: March 19, 2023, 12:01:52 PM
Do you see the recent increase bitcoin has come up with. I believe this is good sign that bitcoin will pump this year, we are still in the third month, looking at the middle of the year, something will surely bulls up. When I open my wallet I was surprise of the price from $23000 to $26000 that's cool for those who buys recently.

What did you think about the price? Will it pump soon
Find it interesting but nothing special with the pump as it normally happens in a volatile market. However, we couldn't just simply think that it all goes high and we don't have to rejoice too much because a dump will also happen after this pump. Indeed, we look forward to more price rallies in the coming days but I will say that Bullrun won't come out this year. I say this because based on my experience and in the past bull season, it comes every 4 year cycle and we are still in the 2nd year after 2021 ATH which means that we still need to wait more than a year from now before to see it again.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 19, 2023, 11:15:36 AM
NLEX is playing without an import, so I think this game will be a boring one, and it surely won't be a close one. Brownlee is so good in times like this, so most likely, Ginebra will win via a blowout. Anyway, I just took the -11, and hopefully, that will hit.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 19, 2023, 10:41:03 AM
Good news for fans of "No Mercy" Gesta, he won against Jojo Diaz, judges score the fight in his favor, Alejandro Rochin (99-91) and Pat Russell (98-92), while the other judges, hehehe, maybe he is watching other fight because the score is somewhat questionable, Judge Pam Hayashida (97-93).

I just wonder though if Ryan Garcia fought Gesta, maybe there could be upsets as well, hehehe.
I don't think that will happen, as Ryan Garcia is a different boxer and is way better than Jojo Diaz, who is not undefeated. Anyway, thanks for bringing up this fight, as I missed it. I hope there are some highlights we can see on YouTube.

In any case, good for Gesta, his career can move on and most likely fight for another day. While for Diaz, no longer the hype on his name, probably this weight for his is too much, maybe it's better to go down to 130 lbs.
Maybe one day Garcia and Gesta will meet, but that will only happen if Garcia loses against Tank.
1066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: March 19, 2023, 08:58:00 AM
I think the time to invest in crypto is not over yet. If you can invest now then I think it is possible to get good profit from this market condition. A few days ago I saw the Bitcoin market fluctuating between $22K and $23K. But lately the market is looking around $28K. This means that since the beginning of the year, Bitcoin has been showing positive signs. Not just Bitcoin If you look at other Crypto Currency coins you will see that they are slowly climbing upwards. So if one can invest in this period and if one can determine one's own sign after investment then I think it is possible to earn good profit by investing from this period as well.
Well, I think we've done with the bearish market already. Recovery comes next to it and that is what we are today. Considering the uptrend motion of the market, it shows that the market is not always on the dump, it somehow shows also pumps. Might not say it was late to start but what I know is that buying at a cheaper price or during the bear season is the best time to do it. However, as long as the price is not at its peak, investing is still good. And the only thing we can do is hold and wait for the bull season in order to earn more.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 18, 2023, 12:49:31 PM
Money is one of the most important things in our life today, we can't live and survive in this world without this stuff.
Some people will say that money can't buy happiness. Well, that was before but for now, money can buy everything which makes us happy. Because true happiness is when we got financial freedom which we can provide everything not just for ourselves but for the people around us. That is why we are working hard, working 24/7 just for the seek of making money to fulfill our wants and responsibilities.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 18, 2023, 11:17:22 AM
And then again, that rumors will continue as it is until someone who's really have that power/voice to be heard, we can all say our
opinions about that issue but there's nothing we can do.

Kyrie if he will direct this statement with proofs that there is something it can break out something big.

But without anything, then that statement is an open for all the opinions and speculations.

Kyrie is just fond of making controversial statements, and this is the latest one. However, many basketball fans will agree with this since the NBA has been rumored to be rigged even before. Anyway, let's go back to the games and discuss tomorrow's games.

We have the Warriors playing on the road again, in a back-to-back game against the Memphis Grizzlies. What do you think will happen? I guess the Warriors will lose again.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 18, 2023, 10:52:22 AM
The Atlanta Hawks also beat the Golden State Warriors. Trae Young recorded 25 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists, a pretty good performance. Trae has a lot of work that the team scored.
Curry again scored over 30 points. They continued to fight until the last quarter, but after stealing the ball from Curry at the last minute, we can say that the game is over. It was actually a close enough match to end with a buzzer beater

What brought them down though is the poor shooting of the Warriors specially in the last couple of minutes.

They should be clutch, but Curry, Donte and Klay missed very important shots in that span that could have tie the score and maybe gain the momentum. Interesting that Poole was bench by Steve Kerr and decided to go with Moody in that last 2 minutes of the game.

It was a close match till the end and both teams are really eager to win from one another, but the crucial momentum got missed by
the warriors with those shots that might be a game changer if happened that they made it.

But for me fans really enjoy the game, both teams are not giving any big chance of making a huge rally, they keep chasing and keep coming back.

Lucky for those who pick Hawks most for those who consider the ML even hawks was the slight favorite here.

As usual, the Warriors are struggling to get a win on the road. This trend continues, and it says a lot to us bettors who should avoid picking them when they're away. The Warriors are good at home but terrible on the road, so we better be smart. We should not let our emotions ride with our decision-making, as that would only result in more losses. Warriors are reliable at home, but not on the road.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of play to earn games on: March 18, 2023, 08:10:55 AM
We have saw the first wave of play to earn games that were abandoned. Most of the games that were launched during the trend where half assed games that are solely created just for the devs to get money from the community and has no actual value in the future, Though there are some outstanding games that loved by the masses such as Axie infinity. Also the players of the recent play to earn games where just there for the easy profit and not by the game itself. I believe that competitiveness can be the next focus of play to earn games if they earned another hype, The competitiveness makes them sustainable and makes players want to play the game itself and earning is just an added feature to it. Over all, Play to earn concept for me has a future and I see that players of traditional games can actually switch into play to earn games.
Many of those projects are no longer to see this time. Devs are just taking advantage of the hype and making these players enjoy the moment while investors are in regret their losses. I'm not sure if there is another hype with them but if that will happen, we can still expect players to come and join the hype again as the usual thing they do in the past.
It was beneficial to the player's side but for the investors, what happened in the past hopefully will give them a lesson to learn.
We have to be more careful dealing with this kind of project, they are not for long-term investment and if ever we bought them we have to sell them right away while the hyped isn't over yet.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth staking stablecoins? on: March 17, 2023, 10:13:47 PM
I once tried staking stable coins on Binance. but it didn't work out because it turned out that the profits that were obtained in that period were not worthy. Maybe because I have only a few stable coins so the results are very small too. So I prefer to keep it in the form of Bitcoin for long term preparation, at least to get profits in the bullish period later. This sounds more profitable. Because at the time of staking, we can no longer mess with these stable coins.
Honestly, staking stablecoins is just like putting fiat money in the bank and the percentage that they have offered back to us holders is very small which I see was not enough to compensate for the risk and the time we spend. Because doing this is just like we give an opportunity for the exchanges to earn more profit while for us traders, it is only as small shares which are not really acceptable.
If we aim to grow our money, staking stablecoins is not really the best option, we can use our funds for trading or just invest in Bitcoin and ETH.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 17, 2023, 01:25:31 PM

I do agree, they have the DNA mentality so it's hard to beat that. But as far as their lineup goes, it's not that solid as last year. And the another bad news is that Iggy is injured and may not play in the playoffs.

And so they have Ty Jerome, Moody, JaMychal Green that might not be enough to make a push this year.

Curry and Klay And Draymond will have to do a lot now since their bench is not that deep anymore.

It's too early to tell, man. Let the Warriors continue to struggle until they figure out how to win. Despite not having a secured playoff spot, I don't think they will easily give up their championship chance. This season, they are really a bad road team as their winning rate is very low. However, you can be assured that they will play better at home. So, the best of 7 is enough for them to at least win a game on the road and perfect the home games to win.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 17, 2023, 12:43:54 PM
Denver Nuggets covered the -12.5, thankfully. I thought they won't/can't as the Pistons are sizzling hot in the first half and even had a lead when the 2nd quarter ended. KCP did help a lot to put a distance in the score.
The spread was high for a reason, and the Nuggets were expected to play hard. That's just right because they covered the spread. I had the same bet as you, but I wasn't able to watch the game. Despite that, I was confident that they would win, and I was not wrong because when I checked my account, my balance had increased due to the win.

Tomorrow, we have Warriors +3 against Hawks, is Warriors ML worth taking?
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: March 17, 2023, 11:58:31 AM
I have more interest in altcoins than bitcoin because they give more ROI, but we are not in a bull market yet and Ethereum gas fee keeps surging since yesterday, it is fair if you are sending ETH from a wallet to another but the real deal is when you plan to send tokens from a wallet to another, the gas is high and this makes me wonder what will happen in a bull market, because most of my tokens are on Erc-20 chain, what is a good way to be prepared for this?
The high gas fee of ETH transactions could probably be a long-lasting issue in the crypto world. Because many years passed by but the developers haven't developed yet an effective strategy to help it out. This is because of the network congestion that leaves us no way to bring it down just like 10 years ago.  I don't want to expect though but can't anticipate as well that the fees will be growing in the coming days, especially during the bull season as pretty sure the demands will badly increase. This is somewhat an excuse why they convert their ERC20 tokens to another platform for the seek of escaping from paying huge fees when moving their coins to another wallet.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you Think might aid the global adoption of Bitcoin? on: March 16, 2023, 01:28:42 PM
~snip~
I agree with you because it seems the El Salvador government is already buying more of Bitcoin even with the dip and that is one thing that will definitely benefit the country and it's economy. Most times it actually takes a great leader to make great decisions and one thing I've known of people is the fact that they always want things their way irrespective of the consequences and always feel entitled to every decision the government makes even without considering the future of such decisions.
I stand with El Salvador government after reviewing their intentions and I think the first step was making it accepted in their country and every other step towards it will fall into place.
And despite the criticism from their countrymen and earning less support from the community, the government remains certain about their adoption. They are not afraid to take risks and to fail because they believe that this would help the country's economy in the future while the other countries are still doubtful about this.
Because if all country leaders have that kind of mindset like the leader of El Salvador, I guess the adoption went massive and fast, and so the price will become less volatile as the deman and supply is consistent.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 16, 2023, 11:58:35 AM

Tank Davis also mentioned in interviews that Ryan has earn his place already and he deserved to face him. (Whatever he means by that, it's open for interpreration), maybe moving forward he is going to be selective of his opponents or whoever he wants to face for the money.

Maybe he thinks he is the king and Ryan Garcia is just the top challenger for him. However, that's still underestimating his opponent because despite both being champs, Davis sees himself on a higher level. I hope Ryan Garcia will prove Davis wrong and show him that his current thoughts are incorrect.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 16, 2023, 10:54:49 AM
He ended up only getting 8 games 6 of which already passed.  So he is eligible to play starting Monday night against Dallas.  Unsure if Memphis will throw him out there.  But make no mistake losing ja means losing money for the NBA, he is one of the new faces and makes the sport entertaining.  They won't push down one of theor cash cows unless it's something really bad.
But it seems to me that the Memphis Grizzlies management is not yet ready to give a warm welcome for Ja Morant, amidst the issue, the Grizzlies are not yet over with it because Ja Morant is the face of the franchise yet he failed to deliver the teams expectation towards him and wasn't professional enough to know what should he do and what's not.
Quote
Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins himself poured some ice-cold water on Ja’s potential comeback. According to the Memphis shot-caller, Morant will NOT be returning to action against the Mavs.
To add even more mystery to this situation, Jenkins also did not indicate when the Grizzlies intend to allow Morant back. The embattled 23-year-old would have already served out his league-mandated eight-game suspension by March 20th, but as it turns out, the team isn’t ready to bring him back just yet.
https://clutchpoints.com/grizzlies-news-ja-morant-return-vs-luka-doncic-mavs-not-happening

We know that this is a very big risk for the team. Of course, he is the face of the team. And the team is also losing quite a lot because of not having him available. I am sure that if they could actually play him, they would have. There are some legitimate reasons. Of course, they feel he is not ready. After all, things could turn out for the worst if they let him on the basketball court right now.

I can only assume things. It is also not going to be very clever for anyone to believe what the media says. We all should wait for an official statement.

Everyone deserves a second chance. If the league can accept him again, there's no reason the Grizzlies cannot accept him. He is still young and prone to make mistakes, so let's give him a second chance. Besides, without Ja Morant, the Grizzlies wouldn't be where they are now.
1078  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Beginners Should Not Go For Future Trading? on: March 15, 2023, 09:50:11 PM
Many discussion threads about this talk about that Future trading is too risky for beginners and so it was recommended to take the spot trading option first.
Well, the main thing is that Future trading is a higher level of trading that absolutely required a high level of trading knowledge and skill which a newbie doesn't have the capability to do it. In fact, even spot trading is quite easy because we can lose our money if we don't know how to trade. So instead of jumping on Future trading, we better have to gain some experience in spot trading just to prepare ourselves. We can go there once we are fully ready.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Street Gambling Risk on: March 13, 2023, 12:30:54 PM
Is street gambling safe?
...

Well, gambling is not safe at first whether it was in the casinos or it was just on the street. But because you are done betting or gambling on the street, you hereby accept that you might lose or win. But honestly, if we would think about beating those people who manage gambling in the street, I was in doubt if we can do it. They are doing this for a living and they will have to protect it and earn money rather than paying these gamblers. Might some gamblers get really lucky and win but I would say that the majority are losing. However, it doesn't matter if we enjoyed playing as well.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 13, 2023, 11:44:35 AM
P.S. I just saw a Facebook post with regards to this rumor, and Sangalang himself debunked it saying that it was all fake newsCheesy Cheesy
You can look at the Facebook Page named "We Are PBA Updates". They posted it there. Well, I guess this is the end of that rumor?

That's great news. At least he confirmed that he will not be retiring. Sanggalang is still young, and I'm sure that as long as he works hard to get back in shape, he will still be the same player who contributed a lot to his team. Another big man who I haven't seen playing anymore is Mac Belo. He used to be a great player, but it seems like his career in the PBA didn't work out well. What happened to this guy?

Yup too early for Ian to retire his jersey, still have enough time to make a good comeback after what happened, with the technology nowadays it's not impossible to quickly regain your skills if you have that full determination, I like this guy so humble with a good food works and don't need to make it hard but just a simple one, just like how Tim Duncan play the game.

Looking forward to see him recover back, no need to rush but just to continue his journey. He's still young and still capable of playing ball.

When he is healthy, you can really tell how effective he is as a big man because he is left-handed. Maybe it's hard to defend a lefty guy in basketball. The rumors are too harsh. They don't realize that Sanggalang's job is very important, and retiring early would mean losing his passion. He might be haunted by this decision for failing his career.
