1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: September 12, 2017, 06:48:12 AM
For me both, I save my bitcoin for fun and also for future. Because in my own opinion bitcoin price wil get higher and higher. I also save it for my future, in that way i can easily get money if there's unnecessary thing happen. And for fun because me and my friend always competing for how many bitcoin we both have.
yeah i think there's still a lot of people treat bitcoin as not a serious investment, they still feel insecure when store their money in bitcoin . due its volatility they think bitcoin could get dropped to the lowest and even disappeared or just go higher to the price where noone expect that. that's why some people buy and hold bitcoin for the sake of fun.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 12, 2017, 06:27:42 AM
Indeed bitcoin and altcoin relates to its price however it does not necessarily mean that when bitcoin dies (w/c is close to impossible), altcoin will also die. Most likely if we're talking about 'die' as in market cap goes to zero, some other altcoin would take its place.
i don't know what exactly could happened technically if that scenario happened. but considering bitcoin since first time are feel like the mother of all cryptocurrency it might has a big effect to the market once bitcoin died , i just don't think another coin follows die. the crypto ecosystem has been built so well and strong so far , it's not that easy to make it completely die and disappeared, ethereum / litecoin /dogecoin might could take bitcoin place, who knows right?
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 12, 2017, 06:19:52 AM
Trading is better than gambling, because you can really use the analysis to get a constant profit. Gambling is used only for entertainment and very rarely to not lose a lot of money.
I am totally disagree  with you, trading can't  provide a constant profit because with the analyses it depends in infinitely  of factors.
While gambling depends only in some statistics and some lucky predictions!

But i disagree with you, because if you are trader then of course you know that in trading we get profit on constantly or not constantly but sure we get profit from trading. Secondly, if you are doing both gambling and trading then sure you could realize where you get more and constantly profit. In trading it is chance more than gambling.
Gambling is more like a source of entertainment but trading is a serious thing where we gamble our money to grow.
We manage our own funds and we should be matured enough the difference, do not allow that your gambling activities will ruin your journey in trading, both are tough in making money but stand a chance in trading.
you might shouldn't expect much profit in gambling , just expect to having fun there and nothing else. while in trading you could expect to get a lot of profit as long as you are skillful enough and have quite a lot experience. in the long run gambling would burn you , but trading gives you opportunity to make money if you do it properly. that's a pretty contrast difference i guess.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: September 11, 2017, 02:49:25 PM
Yes, i keep on buying because i don't want to lose this chance to make a lot of money in the future because way back 2013 i was looking at the price and it is very expensive for me and now the price is above $4,000 and that is expensive for me as of now but i will not think about it because all i want is to save and buy bitcoins as much as i can.
it should be your real lesson , you might have seen bitcoin underestimated a lot of times , and skyrocketing later. it's happened frequently enough in the last few years. rising from $100 to $250 people didn't believe it would go higher and hey we are on $4,200 heading to $5,000! keep doing it until you find your value have gained 100 times!
1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 11, 2017, 02:41:29 PM
gambling offers some kind of fun that makes you always asking for this game. also, the fact of having too much choices in betting makes you sure about the possibility of winning in each game.
Gambling is always fun especially when we win in a game. But sometimes we became dissapointed to ourselves when we lose a lot of money, there is no assurance at all when it comes in gambling, if we bet in every different games in gambling it doesn't mean that there is a possibility that we will win, we can also lose all of what we bet because if luck is not in your side you will surely lose often.
If you are looking to be lucky then you can check on different games but when you want to win consistently you need more your skills than you luck. To improve your skills you need to focus on limited games and must ensure you are playing a game with no house edge, in addition the control is very important because without self discipline it will lead to addiction which is not a good for every gambler.
i doubt there's someone could be able to win consistently in gambling. it's nearly impossible i can say, just base don my own experience i have tried to do it even with bankroll management , low amount bet steady and a lot of patience in it. still failed a lot of times. it's just give me more addiction want to recover all the money that i have lost in the past. it's always like that i think , when you lost and think could make it win again later, that's why gambling so addictive.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: September 11, 2017, 02:27:13 PM
do you like slot games ?
I have a thought that i haven't won in slot games everywhere. It's even hard to hit a small prize and it seems impossible to hit the maxi jackpot. Probably i don't have luck with this one2

Not only you but many people are not lucky in gambling. If all gamblers can be lucky then all casinos need to close by now. These games are for just to give us enjoyment so always try your luck with a small amount and don't over spend just to win the jackpot. If you target only jackpot then you may lose all your money before hitting the jackpot.

that is true. there are few lucky ones out there but the house edge advantage is always at play - hence, some gamblers will win lucky and most are losing because the house edge advantage is applying to all bets. If you are lucky and win, cash it out already and don't bet more because you might lose it all Wink
the basic concept on how the slots machine prize built are like this : 100k players spent average $12 each. 1.2 million dollar in total , the house edge take 20% from it which means $240k and give the rest to 1 or several lucky players and repeat. that's what makes people get interested, the prize are so high , there's no harm really to give it a try with a couple bucks, as long as you didn't get overaddicted with this.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: September 11, 2017, 02:09:14 PM
using logic in gambling is not a safe way or a good strategy to win a game, but i think there is some tactics can be applied to play safe games.
You are right, there is no save games when we talk about gambling, Any game can be lost, so as you said, sometimes even logic doesn't work. So we should use our experience and knowledge and also our luck to win, but It's not too easy.
gambling are full of risk , when you are looking for the safe way , smart way to gamble or whatever it is called. then you are in wrong way , better to looking for another place where you would have guaranteed to get profit with no risk in it which i believe something like that are not exist. be realistic, take a risk to win big in gambling, or just shut up and sit down.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: September 11, 2017, 01:43:51 PM
I like to gamble. I often win. And it helps me earn extra money.

Victory is the only way that gambling is given to help us. Winning means we earn money from what we've staked. In addition to victory, I do not think there is any other way of gambling to help us. Because if not win we lose and that does not help at all.
it helps me to have having fun in the game, it helps me to be happy in my day and making my day complete, it is good to know that i have my gambling friends who supports me and be my co players , it makes my day complete thats why i am happy to play it regularly and it is also good that it teaches me many values and lessons in life thats why it helps me very much in gambling.
i don't think it was what op means about could gambling really help your life. it might indeed makes you feel happy , but things what he questioned more to how it helps your daily needs fulfilled due your gambling habit produce a good winning. or you have a better life level after you get into gambling world. and the answer for me overall gambling affected people in not good way, it has bad effect overall.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite game (gambling) on: September 11, 2017, 01:28:25 PM

For me, the most favorite gambling game is poker. But I also like playing roulette when I have money for that. Grin
Great choice. This is the king of all casino games IMO and it really develops your character. You don't need a lot of money to play. Look for tournaments hosted by big casinos from time to time. In a tournament you're paying a low entry fee (can be even something like $5) and are given a couple times that in virtual tokens. If you manage to eliminate all other players at a table you get a prize, if you don't, you usually can change the table and start again. IMO it's the cheapest and most fun way to play poker, because people have a lot of virtual tokens and aren't afraid to bet high.
with a small amount, we can play more hours and this is an interesting game to compare other slot games. With our skills, if we have little bit luck we can make a big profit in Poker game. But i don't have that much experience in this game. I am learning let's see when i will become an expert in this game.
poker won't make you bored, while other games like slots , dice etc for me personally at some point make you tired to give a shot. as when you gamble on poker you are playing against other player. but actually it's up to each of us as we would always have different taste gaming to make money or for the sake of having fun.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 09, 2017, 11:53:17 AM
The reason why i gamble is for fun, because when i go gamble it makes me relax and excitement. But i know to limit myself to gamble, i just go played on gamble only during my free time. Most of people the reason are having fun and to relax because gambling is most popular to play when you are boring and have a lot of fun gives of gambling. The reason why i gamble because its an income source and earn easily profit.
it's thrilling for sure , but mostly people forgot about the first and main purpose of why they come to gamble. from looking for the entertainment to keep chasing and lost too much to become an addict. it's not something that really surprising , everyone know about that. just the matter of time you realize everything has gone wrong and messed up.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: September 09, 2017, 11:25:26 AM
Yes, i set limits to myself when it comes to gambling. I don't want to end up being broke because of being greedy.

Good for you, other people can't do it because of too much addiction on gambling. I'm also limiting myself on betting to avoid losing my bitcoin in a very fast way. Also, this limitations that we are putting on ourselves is one of the reasons why we won't be addicted to gambling. You could even save more if you have limits on when you are going to stop on gambling after you made some profits.

Not other people but ALMOST all gambler can't limit himself on gambling. When you lose, you deposit more your money to win back your loss but when you win, you want win more and become greedy. My solution is build your own bankroll management, only bet 1%-5% per bet from your all balance.
they could do it , always trying actually but always failed to make it happen. discipline and a good bankroll management skills required . experience might could helpful also, it's very rare to see people who gamble get a nice profit through gambling due successfully limit themselves to gamble too much and become greedy, it's the nature.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 09, 2017, 10:47:09 AM
Yes, I think, gambling is wrong but makes much fun. Only if one can play with faucet and stop in time, than gambling is smart.

Yup, that is why countries dont ban gambling casino cause they are helping the economy. however on the other hand, it is the individual that does not know how to control themselves. if people knows how to gamble apprioriately, there will only be benefits.
the tax in this business are so high , no wonder governments keep them under their regulation. and the illegal one there's a lot in crypto based casinos. besides the bad effect caused by gambling there's good effect too indeed, but when you compare both i think the bad things frequently happened rather than the good/positives one, it's not wrong but vulnerable for anyone to make mistakes and get a bad effect.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 09, 2017, 10:28:43 AM
This question has been discussed allot already, There is no effective strategy and making profit from a certain strategy regardless of what it is is purely based on luck, hence, if you are following something and making profit from it then it's luck, but no particular skill or mathematical edge.
True! We can come across people who claim to use strategies in dice game and find a lot of articles on Google related to it. But the gamblers who actually play this game are very well aware of the fact that there are no tricks or tactics to win dice. It just involves luck. Nothing more, nothing less!
People are trying to find winning strategy in Dice game, but no strategy will work fine for the long term. Some times it will work, but it is not based on strategy it is based on our luck it will work. I also try to make new strategy whenever I play this game just for my satisfaction, but the result should be same.
it's just the matter of suggestion actually , when someone think that they have a winning strategy especially in dice game it wasn't a real winning strategy it's just their claim based on several shots get a streak wins with certain pattern. i don't think it as a strategy but more to a superstition/suggestion in it.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: September 09, 2017, 07:51:35 AM
I gamble most of the time when I am alone.
Same goes for me I also gamble when I am alone and feel bored,
But I really control the amount that I deposit since I am only playing to past my time and not for the profit .

I gamble most of the time because of boredom. I play gambling mostly for fun and not for profit. I gamble with my friends because it is more exciting and fun and also because I am used to play with other people personally. I can also remember that I have gamble because of loneliness and sometimes mix emotion.
gamble for no matter what reason actually in the end would have the same result and it's an addiction especially when you do it continuously in regular time. it's an addictive game and mostly can't deal with gambling problem in mature way , they are all do it irresponsibly. be a real man by handle it properly like to accept whatever the outcome you have got.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: September 07, 2017, 10:57:52 PM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.
Yes i really do analysis when i am playing gambling also in the game of poker, so i could if my opponents are bluffing or have a awful cards. Doing a analysis in poker is a great strategy because it will really give you a chance to win but sometimes it always depend on your luck for you to win.

I think it is the actual poker you are talking about, because there are no real person in the poker here in the online gambling site, it is all about Artificial Intellegence stuff. Online Casinos nowadays are all using A.I because it is easier than managing it manually. The owner could save time by using this to do other things.
I also play poker and I used a strategy by way of reading the game style of opponent. But if the play by A.I. mode it is very difficult to analyze. other games that use the analysis is betting soccer, I really like to analyze each match, in my opinion, fairly easy to analyzed.

yeah the only strategy that could work are only on a games like poker and sportsbetting, other than that i don't think it's good to use analysis as it could be so useless considering you are against the odds there. a strategy like put your money on the favorites teams on sportsbetting in the long run continuously might give you a good result.
1016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: September 07, 2017, 10:31:59 PM
In this life like today, we can not escape the name of "Cash". Cash seems to have been embedded in our daily lives. Even today many small children even adults though are "money conscious". If you give them a choice of cash and Bitcoin, then do not be surprised if they prefer money than Bitcoin.
the digital era just get started, no wonder if people don't know yet about how bitcoin could work the same way like cash work as currency to buy things. don't compare it like that , as there would always a pros and cons to be debated . while cash and bitcoin itself each has different benefit. sooner or later bitcoin would adopted and used just like cash today.
I love the way you think though. Both cash and bitcoin are equal in the eyes of people though it is digitized yet it can be used for purchasing goods or anything. I strongly believe that people are not hypocrite. No matter what appearance of money still it is profitable and for the sake of survival. Both are good with special needs of it. More powers for bitcoin.
The only major difference is we can not use bitcoins in real life that's it. Apart from this both have their own qualities and have value in the market. But as a mate said in future we will get a chance to use bitcoins in real life, and we can buy our things with paying bitcoins. My dream is how we can use cash like that i need to use bitcoins don't know when that day will come.
you must never experience to buy a cup of coffee with bitcoin or repairing your vehicles in real life right? as long as there is a merchant ready to accept bitcoin you can do it even in real life. it's just the matter of time where the adoption could spread evenly and people realize the urgency to use bitcoin as their primary currency in the future.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: September 07, 2017, 10:22:17 PM
I also experienced the same thing, I always lose but I keep playing. I feel addiction and other reasons I do not have the option to get much money in a short time other than gambling.
If you can't stop yourself from playing even if you know that you are going to lose, then definitely you are an addict now. I won't condemn you or criticize you because LIFE HAPPENS but you said you don't have any other option to earn. I have something to say you, "If it does not open, it is not your door". Have some believe in yourself...
a gambling addict are the one who can do anything for gambling under any circumstances. you can make a loan , gamble from it , get in trouble and repeat. that's what mostly happened when you have got addicted. you would be so optimistic to win without considering there's a big chance for you to lost. that's why they keep playing even they have lost quite a lot.
He will be one sided thinking only of the good site and neglecting the bad side which is the risky one.
Gambling even if you lose is alright as long as that action is brought by your addiction which means you are not thinking of it right, you gamble following your emotion because you are told to do so and even if you lose enough money you are still gambling until you lose it all.
When you are addicted you do not have a limit in gambling anymore and you are being stupid who easily spend your hard earned money.
it's frequently happened when someone doin non sense stuff due gambling addiction. for example when you do gamble the whole amount that you have earned it through the hardwork for months and just burned it all in single day only. does it makes sense? it's makes sense when you get drunk or get heated with gambling only. that's why people keep chasing it , the deep addiction causing it all.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most people prefer hyip and doubler but not provably fair games? on: September 07, 2017, 02:36:11 PM
I lost some money in the past with HYIP and I will never try it again. I shared my bad experience in social medias too, hence most of my friends should aware about the risk and won't touch it. And as I read from what people wrote in forum, blog, and many other places about HYIP and doubler, they gave both, bad reputation. So, I think most people do not prefer hyip and doubler these days.
yeah let that bad experience become your precious lesson, nowadays people have learned from other people experiences and this kind action shouldn't be repeated. people should be more smart on making decision to invest. and HYIP aren't a good place at all to put your money in. better to looking for your luck here in several card games.
1019  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: September 07, 2017, 02:03:16 PM
As the title says, do you think that you're addicted to gambling? or you just don't realize that you're addicted Roll Eyes
If you ask me, i used to addicted to gambling but stopped after suffer big losses even though i'm still in profit.
I feel that I have not experienced an addiction to gambling. I am currently playing gambling for entertainment purposes only so it makes me not have any targets, unlike those who have a goal to earn a profit. those who have a goal to earn profits must have a burden and a target to be able to win every gambling game. that's what will make a person start to get addicted in the gambling game.
yeah sometimes you should take a look to yourself. introspection are the key here to avoid overaddiction and yes looking for profit in gambling would always leading you to get addicted sooner or later , money are the center of gambling problem . so when you don't care about money (which completely rare happened) you won't have a lot of problem and overaddicted.

I beg to disagree that money is the center of gambling problem.  There are those who are not after the money and yet get addicted to gambling.   I think the center of gambling problem is the inability to control oneself.  In short discipline.  We tend to follow our hearts desire and just forget about things around us.  If we have discipline and make our selves play in moderation, even if we are aiming to win we will never have problem in gambling.
lol that's doesn't makes any sense. let's be more realistic, it's clearly when you play poker without money involved there did you think it would causing gambling problem and addicted? i don't think so , don't tell me that it could happened as it's only happened in very rare situation. money are the most reasonable thing why people get addicted . end of words.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: September 07, 2017, 01:46:14 PM
Clever gambler does it, plays with profit. While gamblers are greedy or with goal of having fun or has alot money, they will continue to play until felt satisfied. Though sometimes it ends in a bad lose, but that's gambler.
Well, a gambler always focus on profiting through different ways of gambling.  Always prefer to gamble with the winning amount, because this will help the gamblers make an active decision on the further events on which the profit is used for further gaining of profit.
a real addicted gambler would of course prefer to choose to gamble again and again until there's no ending and broke in the end, just the matter of time how long they could survive. sigh it's not a strange story. better to cash the winning out and enjoy while you can. rather than continue , getting heated to gamble more and more. really it wasn't a good idea.
