This whole name thing.
No other project has an ability to have a self branded coin - you know, a wallet which the user can brand as they see fit.
Now.
If that could be extended to other aspects, then people can run their own crypto currency at the front end, but the back end is SPR and Master Nodes.
This can work with, for example, anyone that wants to offer their 'points' to reward customers. Points that can be later redeemed for discounts, special offers, etc.
Simples.

I just realised that I've been part of this forum for 1 year!
A lot has changed since then. It used to be more fun.
Less fun due to low price ? Maybe. Yeah, everyone was more positive about bitcoin. It seems nowdays there has been more and more "bitcoin will fail" topics. |

spreadcoin.net seems to be down, at least for me.
For me too. Looks like Mr. Spread is gone for good. Also, the domain will expire on 21 july 2015. Should it be renewed we will know that Mr.Spread is still out there (and still cares, lol) Should it not, we should try and register the domain once it is available. Not to throw a wrench in the subject but since we are looking at picking up the pieces and starting from scratch maybe we should consider a name change to? So we don't have to deal with the fact of the Dev leaving and the trollsters fud. Maybe a rebirth of the coin with a new look, new name, and new devs? Just wondering? That's the thing, we are not really picking up the pieces, since nothing is broken yet. We also don't want to start from scratch since spreadcoin has many qualities that we like and want to continue. We all LOVE the name spreadcoin and its ideas, and all the memes that surround this name. We also already have a blockchain that we are invested in, and a community, and a forum, etc... We are not looking to start something new, but to continue what we already have. I think that pokeytex has a point though. Spreadcoin was what Mr. Spread built. We need something that differentiates ourselves from that. We are Spreadcoin 2.0. Something that lets the community know we are a growing, thriving community. Not a dead coin trying to tread water. I agree. If we're going to make a new coin, we should change the name. Spreadcoin sounds good after a while but it sounds stupid when you first hear it. |

I'm going to call all my master nodes 'Joshua' after the AI computer in War Games. Joshua 1, 2, etc. There is a reason for this. I'll keep it under wraps for a bit until I flesh out the details a little more. But its going to be big. Like huge, big I'll call mine WOPR. |
