1001  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 13, 2020, 10:54:25 AM
Yeah you are right that it's very hard to understand uf a project is legit or scam by looking everything like I always say, "altcoin market is complex, sometimes you will never even realize that you have been scammed." You have go deeper analysis to understand that. Even everything is okay it's unlikely that the project will be scam one but take closer look again, may be something odd will come because scammer always keep a footprint or wrongdoing of their scam.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies can now be send without the use of internet. on: April 12, 2020, 02:00:01 PM
  • Mobile got stolen by someone who knows its working on their country
  • SMS is probably vulnerable somehow, what if hackers can bypass the system of sending message through another reciepient?
  • With the system, probably blockchain isnt gonna move faster than using traditional address to address as it uses an encrypted text messages and might got some error.
I have never used such service but-
1. Mobile can be stolen but it's obvious that you will have PIN code or something secure which no one will know.
2. It's possible. Exchanges are getting hacked too however, since it will be through sms, it's easy to trace the other party. There's nothing happening in blockchain, so reverse is possible.
3. I'm confused what you meant. If this service get huge success, on chain transactions may decreased.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero get delisted, again on: April 12, 2020, 01:52:46 PM
Countries have rules and regulations of their own and business have to follow that rules and regulations to conduct their business. I would not be surprise if the eexchange is forced to do so because Monero is the best privacy coin so far and it's not easy to trace them. It's nothing surprise.
1004  Economy / Services / Re: BTC Wallet In Blockchain - Wake Up And BTC Gone Forever - Yes, Exactly on: April 12, 2020, 01:37:50 PM
Can you elaborate more about your service (Move this to service section)? However, it seems you are offering a service which is fraud and you are trying to scam? Forgive my poor understanding of your service if any.
1005  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A SIMPLIFIED BREAKDOWN OF TRUST SYSTEM +0/=0/-0 on: April 12, 2020, 01:26:53 PM
You are quite active in this Beginners and Help board but didn't find the LoyceV guidelines to correct use of the trust system? That would break down all of your questions. Go here for getting everything related to the trust system- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191802.0

Are there specific rules that one should abide by in order not to have a negative rating?
Do what you think is good and ethical and don't do what you think bad and unethical. Some may disagree with your DO and DON'T and give a positive/negative rating.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ONION] DeepOnion ✅ Your Privacy Coin with Real Use Case ✅ Show me ONION News! on: April 12, 2020, 01:19:02 PM
I agree with what you said, I prefer to entrust my coins with a Smart Contract than the Lightning Network.
It seems you have misread or miswritten this. Lightning Network is not about entrusting the coins for storing or anything like that. LN is mostly needes of scalability which is not needed at the moment because ONION has not yet reached that level. Scalability is not an issue so far, the fee is quite high but not in value. So, LN is not necessary at all for this moment.
1007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline cryptocurrency transfer? on: April 11, 2020, 02:20:47 PM

What do you guys think about this? I don't think this is possible, not until now. I'm still out of words for this news.
It's not a new idea. There are couple of services which offer cryptocurrency transfer through sms. In addition, Venezuela has always been a crypto friendly space. However, good to see this because it will be now more easier to send crypto.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Legality of Blockchain Notarization? on: April 11, 2020, 11:10:14 AM
I agree that notarization is invalid if there is no involved one or more people in front of the lawyer as a witness for legalizing
Not necessary. Why the word witness is coming here? Imagine I have written a book and have registered the file with blockchain notarization services like DeepVault. Now if someone else tries to copy my property as of him, he won't and no witness is needed because you, lawyer and everyone can verify the hash if it trues or not.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Blockchain Notarization Projects on: April 11, 2020, 11:03:04 AM
A few days ago I have got a thread on it created by Abiky. It's true that Blockchain Notarization can be a great way of saving patent, intellectual property etc. Although only China have allowed that. I don't know whether if any other countries allow or not.
In this case, bitcoin blockchain is the most immutable but who are the dedicated blockchain or have services on this? Please share if you know any other project on blockchain notarization. I'm sharing what I know.

1. DeepVault: It has been develooed by DeepOnion for a service of blockchain notarization. The fee is very low and have been developed some browser extension etc for this.

2. Signature Chain: It's a dedicated project on blockchain notarization which I found couple of days back.

Please share others if you have any other known project for blockchain notarization.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ONION] DeepOnion ✅ Your Privacy Coin with Real Use Case ✅ Show me ONION News! on: April 11, 2020, 10:38:40 AM
Good afternoon,
When are we gonna have more exchanges? We need them for the mass adoption and the knowledge of our coin.
When is the iOS wallet gonna arrive?
We need to be more active on apps like FB, Instagram or even Twitter.
Lighting network and smart contracts? How are we going with them?

HODL IS THE BEST CHOICE
There are a lot of exchanges where DeepOnion is listed but it's true that we are lacking of good exchange. Only Kucoin is the best preference for now. All the other exchanges are none of the effective.
We don't have iOS wallet? I used to think it is already developed.
At this moment, I don't see any reason to go with Lightning Network but yeah smart contract would be good and I think there is a roadmap too. You can check it with the website.
1011  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobel Laureate asked India to print more money and not to worry about inflation on: April 10, 2020, 12:51:28 PM

I would agree. Let tomorrow take care of itself. If there will be an inflation rate too high than what should be considered acceptable as a result of this, then the government and its monetary and economic teams will take care of it at the right time. They will cross the bridge when they get there. For now, the poor people, millions and millions of them are having an empty stomach. They urgently need food on the table!

Damn the torpedoes!

You are correct from one point that a lot of poor people are having empty stomach and something to be done to prevent that, through printing money but if it results high inflation in long run, people will have even more worst situation than the current. Higher inflation can destroy an economy easily. An economy should be planned for future too. If they only consider the current situation, they will have worst day in future of course.
1012  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Market Cap to Determine High & Low of Market on: April 10, 2020, 12:40:34 PM
Yes, but how can you use Market Cap in Relation to current price to give you information about Highs and Lows?
Your question is not transparent to be answered. Market cap doesn't indicate anything other than having a rank. You can get some information from volume. What did you mean by highs and lows? Price increase and decrease?
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: While bitcoin is hydrogen, poporo is oxygen. | What exactly is poporo? on: April 10, 2020, 10:08:13 AM
Poporo believes only one POW network is enough to exist in the world and that is Bitcoin, it did make me impressed. Wink
Because they have no way to say they are better and probably that's the thing they used so that they can get the iimpression from people? If there are any other coin I had to appreciate is Litecoin and ETH. No poporo, no shitcoin.
Are not you trying to promote Poporo, please, don't say you are promoting poporo. I would really love to hear that you are not affiliated with Poporo.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Average Developer Activity in Last 90d on: April 10, 2020, 10:02:43 AM
I dont think that commit quantity is mean anything
Agreed. Look at DeepOnion. They have quite a good standing in github with small developments all the time and have a standing of 70 in activity. But they have only a few thousand volumes, no more demand in the market, none of real usage so far although they have some working product on hand. So, what does that mean? Nothing.
1015  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen if all miners stop mining? on: April 10, 2020, 09:55:08 AM
Technically it's possible that there might be no miners at all but in theory, it's not possible like as TryNinja pointed. If there are no miners to process the tx, with the less network difficulty, it will be easy to mine and some people will jump into it.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Overview new altcoins calendar or website on: April 09, 2020, 12:21:34 PM
ICODROP only lists major projects that are of interest to many investors. Therefore this site is only suitable for those who want to look for new and quality projects. And this site does not meet the requirements of OP.
Sites like ICODROP only list the projects which come with ICO or IEO or any other fund raising campaign and they have quite a big amount of premined clin which isn't the interest of OP at all I think. OP is looking for coins with no premine so that they can mine with their PC at the beiginning of the launch.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ONION] DeepOnion ✅ Your Privacy Coin with Real Use Case ✅ Show me ONION News! on: April 09, 2020, 12:18:30 PM
Yes, I think it will take some time until the crypto market move up a bit. Bitcoin increased its price but itīs not enough to cause a bull market. Letīs see what happens in the upcoming months.
Expecting bull run now will be a fool thought of course. We are in a pandemic and you know it's spreading more each day. People need cash more than anything else now. However, with the recent flow of money in US, we may expect significant pump after a while after the pandemic gone.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Hiring Market Maker for WXCoin on: April 09, 2020, 12:05:00 PM
You are looking for pump and dump group in simple words? If so, I doubt anyone knowing that would be interested to invest in your project. It's really an unethical behavior. If your project is good one and have something of utility, volume will increase automatically. You would rather spend your time on developing the project.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: While bitcoin is hydrogen, poporo is oxygen. | What exactly is poporo? on: April 09, 2020, 11:50:58 AM
There's no hydrogen oxygen in cryptocurrency. There's only one decentralized coin and it's bitcoin. None of the other can ever imagine to reach that decentralization. I have no idea what poporo is, I don't want to look into even because there's two type of cryptocurrency. One is bitcoin and others are altcoin.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Overview new altcoins calendar or website on: April 09, 2020, 11:47:25 AM
There are a few coin calendar which used to update news on various coins but I have no idea if they update news on new coin launching. As far as I know, they don't.

The thread we have here on bitcointalk is showing so much coins that are already launched.

It's because you are checking with the current algorithm of bitcoin bumping. For getting all the new threads, you have to filter the list with new posted threads. Otherwise, you will not get them.
