1001  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn with Hitleap traffic exchange on: July 24, 2017, 04:52:07 AM
As I got a free computer in my office, so I decided to run Hitleap, planned to sell those points here,
however, I find it is not easy to sell in here, not too much members are interested in buying it...

Therefore, I am finding a way to use those points myself to exchange to profit,
anyone can suggest me some ideas what I can do.  Kiss

I suggest you don't steal resources from those that are paying you to work for them.  :/

Not really stealing resources  Roll Eyes
as our computers are running 7/24 even I don't run Hitleap there...

Vod made a good point. Consider the consequences once they find it out.
No matter PCs are running/not running. Point is you are using them for private profit which could anger your boss/colleagues or might be violation of your job contract.

BTT, In past I think the hitleap worked with bitbin.it though not sure how it is now. Do some search.

Your location? Escrow accepted?

How can we be sure it's not the faulty one you mentioned in this thread?
1003  Other / Off-topic / Re: (im a poor newbie ) on: July 23, 2017, 03:19:56 PM
thanks a lot to your comment.. can you help me about invessment? can i invest 0.0007 bitcoin?

Hardly. It's way too small amount to be transfered ( half of it is going to be spend on tx fee).

Just get a few more mBTCs and you can try to invest into casino bankrolls. You can see how such invesment evolve on my site (find link in my signature).
I consider this as one of the safest investing options (profit is not guaranteed but relatively safe if you choose well known, long running casino).

Said person which warn newbies about I am promoting HYIP's lol
Even I do this and it's possible earn money with me
But casino - never gonna leave you in profit
Even each knows that in LasVegas you gonna loose money. It's just a way to live when you are rich
Nothing more
You are biggest scammer
I'm a scammer?  Cheesy  You should check your trust.
I didn't tell anybody to go play casino games. I told them to invest in casino bankroll.

And you actually confirmed it's good a investment:
"But casino - never gonna leave you in profit Even each knows that in LasVegas you gonna loose money." ==> which means casino is in profit (so the casino investors)

This trust for me made people which even do not trade or deal with me
So that's will back for this people once. I believe in karma
And this people are not gentleman's

So you go do your business. I will do mine
But it is a grave injustice when an innocent person is accused of committing a crime
And gentleman not gonna do that
Also without any proves
So are you sure that you are a gentleman?

Never said I'm a gentleman and I'll never be gentle to people like you.
There is no need to do any deal with you. Promoting pozis/hyips is sufficient reason to mark you as scammer (in some countries it's even illegal).

We all know the only profiting people are those with youtube or w/e channels (like you) promoting these scams, luring innocent victims, showing awesome profits (mostly based on deposits of your victims) to lure some new victims to increase your profits and show it again to lure even more victims ... this repeats again and again utill it all collapses.
Then you are in the profit ( but most others are in loss ).

Do you feel like a gentleman taking other people's money?

You sir are a cancer for this community. Good for you believing in karma (hope it will hit you hard).

1005  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OGnasty has been compromised. |ID!0T| on: July 23, 2017, 03:55:15 AM
OK seems I have lost a track a bit. ( so far I was thinking ognasty already told you he sent the refund back but to uknown address )

Lets sum it.
- isoneguy sent BTC to ognasty ( from coinbase ).
- trade failed so isoneguy requested to return BTCs
- but isoneguy did not wanted to be refunded to sending address (coinbase)
- ognasty haven't send any refund yet as he has not received any signed message from sending address (which is impossible if it was coinbase)

My impresion is ognasty just strictly following his rule nr. 2 which I appreciate.

...
2. I will not refund a Bitcoin address that is not the sending address without a signed message from the sending address.
...

That means the mistake definitely happened on isoneguy side as he used third party walllet provider (without access to private key) not being aware of escow rules (again isoneguys mistake)
Thus you can't blaim ognasty for strictly following his own  (public known) rules. If you did't read it it's your fault.

But this not mean there is no another way to proof isoneguy is the sender ( coinbase transaction printscreen seems pretty sufficient for this ).

So my opinion is:
@isoneguy - you should apologise to ognasty ( and all others you marked red being his alts ) as this all is mostly your fault (used address you have no private key from)
@ognasty - you should find other way (make exception) how isoneguy can proof those funds ownership without signing a message ( as it's obviously impossible for him)

or
refund the sending address (then it become fully isoneguy's problem how he deals with coinbase, but you will be clear)
... and maybe reconsider your rule nr.2 to be more user friendly ( to me it's valid and relevant rule but as you can see errors happens ) ... just to avoid similar issues in future (or you could ask signed message before receiving funds ... i know this makes things complicated but could safe you/customers lot of troubles)

1007  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OGnasty has been compromised. |ID!0T| on: July 23, 2017, 01:57:32 AM
I guess this is the escrowed transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/108d84856eae891f06a3ea1359be26ed3c690bdfc195a099187299ac6714c611
Right?

and I see no refund transactions to sending address tought OP stated:
...
He refused because of "rules of escrow" and then told me he'd refund to the coinbase account...bunch of bullshit never happened now here we are.
...

@Ognasty
Have you send any refund? Can you share where you send it including proof of signed message from the original sending address?
Some reaction of yours would help a lot ( simple reply "This user is a liar and an attempted scammer" is not enough)
What you mean by:
...  I follow the rules of my escrow service to protect honest users.
??
I can see 3 rules in your ANN thread. And only 2nd one seems to be applicable for this case (which means you shopuld provide proof asked above).

Yes, that is the escrow transaction.

OG repeatedly said he was sending me the money and just decided to flake...what's the best way to set a bounty?

OK, obviously BTCs was not returned to sending address but still would rather wait for OGs opinion (maybe he can prove you asked to return BTCs to other addy with signed message) before giving you any advice.

EDIT: Based on your post above it seems you have finaly calmed down. Which is good for you (anger kills) and all of us because now it's much better to communicate with you as I have seen some your reactions in other related threads (and there is bunch of them) and started feeling It's not worth any further discussion with you.
I'm sorry for you loss and can't guarantee you to get your money back. But I would love to help finding the wrong guy here and mark him to prevent further scam attempts.
1008  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: L3+ Antminer offered for 2btc ... good deal or not on: July 23, 2017, 01:49:07 AM
Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it . I am new to crypto mining ... I will back out of the deal

Good for you (just don't blaim us if the miners going to keep being golded mines for few upcoming months (they are currently)  Grin ... but  there is already too many of them on the way to datacenters all around the world. so the profits gonna be dropping.

Just some hits for future.
It's great to buy from manufacters directly. Usually have to wait till batch is ready but you have the warranty (which is non transferable in most cases)
And you are not going to get a good deal in replies to your WTB threads (specificaly when asking hot stuff). Better to search for WTS offers and be quick (good deals are gone very soon).

1010  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: TRUSTED BITCOIN DOUBLER---SINCE FEB 2016 ---- BITCOINPROFIT on: July 22, 2017, 10:14:30 PM
this site is the only trusted site as per my opinion... it only need funds....

if people continue frequently investing on this site then I think payout speed will become faster....

"It only need funds"  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy ...  yea, give me the funds and I also will be so generous to split a part of it among others  Grin (Who would not be)

And this it the problem with all ponzis. Only thing they need is funds to be able to split it among their dums investors. Promising "a guaranteed profits" based on shit (expectation of continuous new investor flow) and just small vacant space in new incomers will ruin it all.

Same story again and again. When the people will learn.
1011  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: L3+ Antminer offered for 2btc ... good deal or not on: July 22, 2017, 09:50:53 PM
Hello,

I someone offered to sell me L3+ antminer for 2 btc?

Good deal or not ?  I know this miner is rare at the moment.

Thank you

First: I think this is wrong section ( here should be only specific buy/sell offers ...but I can't tell you which section is correct so let mods to decide and skip it for now)

BTT: Hard to judge. I would say it's definitely not a good deal for you as the ROI is very disputable (perhaps even not reachable) at such price ... but who knows, things are changing all the time.
On the other hand it's hard to get a better deal as nobody owning them right now will sell them cheaper. So it all depends on how desperate you are to get some.

My advice: Do not be desperate to much otherwise you will invest wrongly.

Final result: 2 BTC is not a good deal and you should not focus solely on the BTC price but also consider the actual BTC-USD ratio. (something around 3000-3300 USD seems to me as a fair price under current conditions).
But I'm not seller/buyer so take advice with reserve (just personal opinion based on observed deals which passed through during last few days).

1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What best contest for this kind of games? on: July 22, 2017, 06:16:27 PM

-snip-
It's correct their house edge is set at 1% because they reduce your chances of winning/lossing from 50% to 49.5%.
49.5 (losing chance)+49.5 ( winning chance) + 1(house edge) = 100

This is applicable only to dice type game where you are able to choose your win chance which is reduced to keep the HE ... instead of regular 50% (would mean 0%HE) it's lowered to 49.5. I understand that.

But in OPs game the win chance is fixed (5 even nrs, 5 odd nrs ... so its 50:50) and the only thing he can adjust HE is by amount of winnings.
Moreover there is very, very small probability the result hash will not contain any digit ... what happens then? ( I know it's almost imposible to happen but should be clarified as well ).

@OP Why are you not reacting to my question? You should be able to easily answer how you come up with 1% HE. I started to feel you don't know.
Please show me the applicable formula for HE of your game.

You are right, 5 even and 5 odd, win chance is fixed 50:50.

Example:
1. Bet 10 LTC is lost
2. Bet 10 LTC is win
3. Return 19.8 LTC

House edge = 1 - (return / loss)
loss=20 LTC
return=19.8 LTC

House edge = 1 - (19.8 /20) = 1 %

Ok this clarifies it enough. Thanks.

BTW my second thought in post above might be what you are looking for. A jackpot for players whose hash contains no digits (could lure many players if the reward is adequate to probability this will happen).
1013  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Got this message on bittrex exchange. Can't sell. What do? on: July 22, 2017, 04:48:31 PM

This is what I'm talking about.

Reserved are coins which are in active order. Are you sure there are no active sell orders with this coin? If so then it's definitely worth contacting the support.
1014  Other / Off-topic / Re: (im a poor newbie ) on: July 22, 2017, 04:17:24 PM
Yeahh... World growing
Have a lot of people with this questions
I have something for you
But it's not mean you will have a good cash right now
Keep your ponzins for yourself.

WARNING to OP (and other newbies)
This guy is promoting ponzis a lot and thats exactly what you guys are looking for ( promises of easy money without effort ... we all know it's nonsence)
I would be careful in trusting him.

1015  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Got this message on bittrex exchange. Can't sell. What do? on: July 22, 2017, 04:10:00 PM
Ok can you refer me to an exchange that doesn't do this?

I traded stock before and this messes with my strategy also is a horrible time waster.

Sorry but I think all exanges do the same. Wallet updates are quite often and it's same as any other software ...  you can't use it during the update (or can but have to restart it later).
IMO it's not even possible to keep things running as it could bring some security, incompatibility or w/e issues.

Maybe you can try to contact support if it's possible to let you know about incoming updates upfront.
Or watching coin homepages about incoming updates? (I'm not sure if it's pre-announced)

Your strategy should count with such things are going to happen. To mitigate risk you might consider last update time ( e.g. recently maintened wallet will most likely not going to be maintened soon  and vice versa ... I don't know, just giving you hints.
1016  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Got this message on bittrex exchange. Can't sell. What do? on: July 22, 2017, 03:48:41 PM

Damn thats lame. Do other exchanges do this? Also I can't even sell my other coin.

Yeah. It's quite usuall. I notice similar things on polo ( disabled dep./with. but never tried whether trading is also disabled ).
By other coins you mean other coins under maintenance. Correct? Then I guess you are just unlucky in holding (and wanting to sell) coins which are under maintenance right now.
1017  Other / Off-topic / Re: (im a poor newbie ) on: July 22, 2017, 03:28:05 PM
If you do not have coding skills you can rent then no other options available. Seriously ... no effortless money to earn here (nowhere) !!!

So try to search in  Economy > Marketplace > Services for suitable job.
1018  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Got this message on bittrex exchange. Can't sell. What do? on: July 22, 2017, 02:59:07 PM

Unfortunately I can't sell any of my wallets. I set up limit sells for them but I can't do anything at this point.

Maybe a different exchange? Can someone recommend me some suggestions or ideas? Thank you.

You can't even withdraw so other exch. is not an option. The already set up limit sells should not happen as this coin trading is (IMO) deactivated during the maintenance.
Only thing you can do is wait till the maintenance is finished.
1019  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: In which section are referral links allowed? At ico, services :) on: July 22, 2017, 02:52:59 PM
General rule #4 "No referral code (ref link) spam"

Your signature is the only section allowed for reflinks ( or you can create sig. camp. to rent other members sig. space).
1020  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help me out pls! what is bitcoin adress? on: July 22, 2017, 02:46:57 PM
im searching for how to earn money on internet and talking about bitcoin?earning in this site and know what is bitcoin adress.. im confused Huh
sorry for my bad english im a pilipino.. (sana pinoy din sumagod  Cheesy)

tnx for any help and suggestion..
i truely appriciete.. Smiley

I'm confused as well. Are you asking what is address or how to earn money here?
Address was already explained above.

By earning on this site you probably refer to signature campaign (renting you signature space) ... see eg. 2rd reply in this post (user AdolfinWolf is paid by bitmixer to show their ad).
Nevertheless this is only for high level ranks (member +). You need to be active here for a longer time to reach higher ranks and need to make given number of posts during week to be eligible for payout.

The other option is to rent your skills (if any) in market section. You need to be good coder/writer etc. with some previous work portfolio to be hired.
