Bitcoin Exchange ShapeShift Shuts Down NY Operations, Protesting ‘BitLicense’Erik Voorhees-led Bitcoin exchange ShapeShift has decided to shut down its New York City operations, protesting the recently released Bitcoin regulations, CNBC reported today. The final BitLicense regulation demands that Bitcoin businesses record personal information of its users (through the KYC norm) and the cryptocurrency swapping place is not comfortable violating its policy of not storing any personal information of its customers. http://coinyoo.com/2015/06/11/bitcoin-exchange-shapeshift-shuts-down-ny-operations-protesting-bitlicense/

The ongoing hyperinflation in Venezuelan markets is reportedly causing an increase in Bitcoin adoption, according to the Panam Post. The online media outlet has collected evidences from a nonprofit digital currency educationalist, Bitcoin Venezuela. Their report demonstrates a drastic surge in Bitcoin usage — almost 50% within one week — in the wake of government’s stringent controls over the foreign exchange markets. http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/06/10/hyperinflation-fires-up-bitcoin-adoption-in-venezuela/

ShapeShift.io founder Erik Voorhees has launched the first iOS cryptocurrency trading app in App Store. With this launch, Apple users can exchange Bitcoin and 34 other virtual currencies with just a tap on their phones. The team at ShapeShift has first created an app for the iOS store because they expected “resistance from Apple’s carefully guarded App Store.” However, the company will be rolling out an Android version very soon since most of the consumers are still using Android phones. http://coinyoo.com/2015/06/10/erik-voorhees-launches-first-ios-bitcoin-trading-app/

Okay, but what is enough volume? It is very subjective factor. I think if the daily volume of an altcoin is >3% of it marketcap than it is a good volume. hi, i have wrote to shapeshift to add Qora, i think is being time to Qora to be know from people, the development is being crazy good, if some of us write them i think they will add
I've been in contact with them for many months. When Qora has enough volume, Erik will add Qora. That's really all there is to it. So far, we haven't met the mark.

I am wondering whether you are going to release your research result or are you keeping the results for yourself?

Fully confirmed is relative. A transaction is fully confirmed after 1440 confirmations. After 720 confirmations a rollback is impossible. Usually it is enough when you have 10+ confirmations. How many confirmations does NXT need for a transaction to fully confirm? I sent some over 12 hours ago and it now has 528 confirmations, yet still doesn't show as fully confirmed. It doesn't seem viable for a currency for this to be normal. Is the network malfunctioning?

Can you explain please, yeah NEM should be five times better than NXT? Just wondering how you came to this conclusion. Why
Nem price is going so down???.
I think after mobile client public announcement price will be 90 or even 100 satoshi per XEM (be realistic). XEM is 5 times better then NXT. But even I thought about bulk XEM trading (deal was unsuccessful ). It's hard to stay straight and waiting with only XEM when some interesting speculation is actually happing with LTC.

Thanks for sharing this information! i was not aware of this. By the way, are there any development news? Are the forums under orangecoins.info be down? i can not open the site. it shows me a 404 error.
Here is the message where Halofire updated https://chainz.cryptoid.info/oc/#!crypto with a new trial website, which is still open for improvement: Here is a new website. By all means, if someone else wants to create a better site, go for it. I will be updating the site with more pages and links, but wanted to get something up before the 1.0.5. links got buried in the forum. If anyone can help me remember what we had listed at the orangecoins.info, it would be helpful. http://orangecoin.weebly.com/
