10183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of RIPPLE / XRP ? on: June 03, 2015, 12:30:21 PM
Well, was it the end of Paypal when they decide to want your address and person verification some years ago? No! So Ripple will survive that but it will loses some users which not agree with this procedure.
10184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Since Bitcoin is becoming a train wreck, what's Nxt? on: June 03, 2015, 12:23:05 PM
You can not compared Bitcoin and Nxt in my opinion. They use different concepts and follow and address different purposes. You should rather see it as alternatives which enrich each other.

10187  Economy / Economics / Re: Smoking gun of the world system? on: June 03, 2015, 11:43:06 AM
Well, I don't like all such conspiracy theories. There is no world coalition who rules the world. I would not say, that there isn't a group who tries to reach it, but the world is so complex and it needs so many actors that it is not possible.

10190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TAR Airlines is the first in Latin America to accept Bitcoin on: June 03, 2015, 11:00:10 AM
Wow, great news for the acceptance of Bitcoin. Hope other airlines will follow. This also confirms my prediction that the BTC mass adoption will likely start in Latin America.
10191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Record 152,800 Bitcoin transactions on May 28 following constant growth all year on: June 03, 2015, 10:57:57 AM
Hope that in the near future, the network can produce 2 txs per second (172800 txs per day).

This could be just an intermediate stage. If Bitcoin wants to become a real competitor as a payment processor for mainstream it must be process more Txs per seconds. For example, Visa and Mastercard process 7 txs on average. This should be the goal midterm.
10192  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What would you like to see in a Bitcoin Digital Marketplace & Freelancer site? on: June 03, 2015, 10:54:24 AM
As an experienced software and web developer, I like your idea and project. Actually, you should focus on creating a good integrated escrow service. This is one of the most important features for such an site in my opinion. There are too many scammers out there.
10193  Economy / Services / Re: Need info on some faucet work. on: June 03, 2015, 10:51:52 AM
First of all, this is the wrong section. Your should rather post such a question into Beginners or Services section.
When you want to create such a faucet from scratch with similar features as the ones you mentioned, you need to invest about 1-2 BTC.
If you have such an investment amount, you can pm me for rather details. I can create such a service for you.
10194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteDoge coin [Community take over] on: June 03, 2015, 10:26:16 AM
Congrates, it is the right step to bring to coin forward after all this droubles with the original developers. How do you plan to further develop the coin? i would like to know it before investing into to coin again.
10195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining - Which coins should i mine? on: June 03, 2015, 10:23:41 AM
You can find out which coin is worth to mine regarding return on investment by using the calculator on http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators
it also depends on your mining power and electricity costs.
10196  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 03, 2015, 10:15:15 AM
Interesting statement. I have not seen it like that. Probably halving will be an indicator if Bitcoin is seen as a real store of value or just play money. If first holds, the price must go up short term after halving.

If you at all think Bitcoin is like money, then the price WILL go up in value because new-money printing will be cut in half. There is no debating this if Bitcoin is at all like money.

Maybe the halving will tell us if Bitcoin is a money replacement or just a race to buy tulips.

The Battle for Mobile Cash: An Interview with Bill Barhydt, CEO of GoAbra

With the current onslaught of bitcoin-related applications and services it’s an interesting time to be a part of the greater digital currency community. The blockchain possesses a seemingly infinite number of use cases, and those who can think creatively and be the first movers in a certain sector are pioneering some of the those brilliant ideas into our everyday lives.

10198  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-06-03] Will Google Android Pay Accept Bitcoin? on: June 03, 2015, 10:01:13 AM
Google may allow Android users to pay with bitcoin soon. The company just announced Google Android Pay: not a separate app but a platform. The new platform allows a designer to incorporate Android Pay into an app using an API provided by Google.

Would be great for Bitcoin in my opinion.

10199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nxt and the rise to the top. on: June 03, 2015, 09:57:53 AM
if the sold NXT of the whales get a better distribution after the sale than the sales are good thing for the price mid and long term. Sure, it means a sell preasure and price decline short term, but we should think long term.

Isnt NXT price decline solely by selling pressure from original whales? All that needs to happen is them stop selling. NXT has tech, projects, community, there is no reason to be declining. Everytime there was some big news or new feature, there was always dip in price, because whales where trying to cash out on big volumes. Coins have to change hands, than price will go up.
10200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Election System Based on the Blockchain? on: June 03, 2015, 09:54:45 AM
Well, that's a good point. i would solve it like already described in a previous post. Every country has got a electoral register. Every eligible voter will get a unique hash code by email or post mail. The hash code has been created by a strong algorithm implemented into the software. The voter can use it to verify that he is eligible to vote and to create its private / public key values. Every hash can used only once.

Identification is a huge problem on that. How will you identify the voters?
Identity theft cases will increase. Also current governments have access to all identities...
